Listen, Osteoarthritis is a collagen desease. For the average person, a change in eating habits will help. Stay away from refined foods/sugars. Eat your cruciferous vegetables that contain organo sulfur’s. Take vitamin C if you will. Get your minerals, sun, vitamins. And be happy/proud you are making changes.

I take the exact type that you have. For me it worked extremely fast. I have been taking it for years and will continue doing so because the results have been profound. Now I have resumed doing my weight bearing exercises without pain during or after. I am 60 years young, and when I wake up in the morning, it’s nice to begin my day without any pain. No more joint pain or stiffness. No pharmaceuticals at all. I will take this forever!

Taking collagene is definitely helping me a lot, way longer Than 6 months. My right Knee has already deteriorated from extensive use, as my meniscus had been cracked in an accident long ago, where my knee ligaments suffered ruptures as well. In 2018 the doctors said, that I need an implantatum already, but I am too young. They just made minor corrections. After the operation I could never build my muscles back, as my knee did not support this.
I started with Collagen for 2 years now, not having pain, My muscles are now nicely building back, I become now again physically active. --- I use only Collagene, and when a smaller "accident" happens on the way, and it aches again, I use ASEA

I've been taking collagen peptides since 6 weeks after my hip replacement. It's been 2 years now, and I feel great. My surgeon had warned me that I'd still have my arthritis in my S.I. joint, that I would only be eliminating hip pain with the surgery, but my S.I. issues, my back and knee pain are barely there! I switch back and forth from bovine to pork-- after I finish one, I take the other. Won't be stopping. I add it to my coffee daily.

💊 Collagen peptides may improve joint pain in the short and medium term.
💊 Osteoarthritis and joint pain from aging can be relieved with collagen supplementation.
💊 Ingesting collagen may promote cartilage production, which cushions the joints.
💊 A small study showed significant improvement in pain, stiffness, and physical function with collagen peptide intake.
💊 Collagen hydrolysate supplementation helped in the short and medium term (less than six months) but not in the long term (more than six months).
💊 Younger athletes with joint pain also experienced relief with collagen hydrolysate.
💊 Overall, collagen hydrolysate can be considered for osteoarthritis and acute joint pain, but long-term effects are uncertain.

I also walk a lot and that is very important to get blood flowing to the joint and then joint fluid bathes the joint and blood removing toxins from the joint. The language in the meta-study results was ambiguous as to whether "long-term" meant while still taking it or after stopping taking it. However in this study "A Collagen Supplement Improves Skin Hydration, Elasticity, Roughness, and Density: Results of a Randomized, Placebo-Controlled, Blind Study", they had a 12 week study about effect on skin that showed clear improvement, with a follow up 4 weeks after stopping taking it, which showed partial loss of the improvement.

I don't know what they included in the study. So how it lasts might be determined by additional elements. Auto immune can cause brittle bone and joint issues, and there are things that help with auto immune, boswellia, curcumin, cannibinoids, evening primrose oil, which is also good for collagen. Also for collagen intake some information says you need more than C, but copper or a zinc and copper balance, c complex, vit a, and e. Otherwise your body won't produce or absorb it into joints. Anyway I'm going to try the collagen full spectrum peptides along with my son's pig feet remedy he takes so he doesn't have my early onset condition, and all the rest. Currently stuck on ibprofen which I take with nac to protect my kidneys. And alot of things. And magnesium. When I miss any of my routine supplements I'm in more pain than I can handle and can't sleep more than a few hours.

When it comes to the best dosage for you, it is always best to consult with your healthcare provider and also consider your goals. However, the general recommendation for the daily collagen dose starts at 10 grams. If you're using a powdered collagen, this means 1 scoop, although some brands advertise 15-20. Many people start with 1 scoop and increase to 2 scoops if they are physically active or recovering from an injury. Keep in mind that apart from serving size it is evenmoreso about bioavailability (the amount of the collagen protein your body absorbs and utilizes) than the dose on its own. If you want a high bioavailability level, go with collagen hydrolysate, as it offers readily absorbed collagen peptides.

There's no hard evidence that collagen peptides rebuild cartilage and reduce joint point. These anecdotal studies don't sell me. The real issue though, is it really worth paying for these high dollar supplements only for even your anecdotal, small scale studies to only work in the short/medium term and have no positive long term effects? Or is the suggestion that you take it for 3-6 months to maybe feel slightly better, go back to pain for several months, and restart the cycle over?

@@thankyou4416 Well once you get into magnesium, citrate alone may not be sufficient. You're better off with a product that has multiple forms of magnesium. If you're generally low on magnesium, sure, citrate or glycinate are sufficient. If you want the most benefit though, there are better that a singular form.

Why do you have a particular collagen brand on your desk? Is this some sort of subliminal advertising?

So are you saying taking collagen can improve joint pain but then after 6 months, it will go back to how you felt before taking it? Has anyone ever stopped taking it after it is no longer effective stayed off it for a few months, then went back and it started to help again?

@@brykidla It's a good question, because there must be some mechanism that creates the loss of effectiveness. Stopping for a while and trying again may be very effective

@@christianjoseph27 That's great for you. I did start taking it but all it did for me was give me stomach cramps and diarrhea, unfortunately. Was very disappointed. I had hoped it could do what it claimed to do for me. But it did not.

Please make a video why the CDC refuses to report adverse reactions from the CONVID jab to VAERS?

    • @Quanic2000
      @Quanic2000 3 ปีที่แล้ว

Because the adverse side effects of vaccines submitted to VAERS are not verified.
Any provider can make a submission even if the cause of death is unverified.
      MedCram speaks on this.
