Completing an oil change, always rather satisfying.
Nothing like a good Oil 🪔 Change to keep yer Engine healthy 😊. Did you dump the old stuff in the Headges 😮? Or.... you could save it and use it as a brush on coating for keeping rust at bay. We do it from time to time @Work on exposed Engines and Bits.

Im guessing when the seatbelt was playing up you were parked on a hill ?, might that have anything to do with it ?.
My son once got stuck in a seat belt , every time he moved it got tighter i had to come home from work and take the car apart to get him out 😂.
Oil changes , messy chaps , reminds me my two need a service and a few other jobs doing very soon .

Good point about the hill, it's a bit of a slope.
With oil that 'sticky' I'd be looking at changing the fuel filter and inspecting the air filter rather sharpish 😮 The car does look to have good 'bones' though 👍

Had a rover 400 with a dodgy front window - the glass was loose in the flimsy plastic clips that attached it to the regulator... Good car otherwise until HGF killed it along with rusty wheel arches. Went like stink for a 1.4...
You could try and make yourself a waste oil heater for the lock up.

I would have put a pint of diesel in while it was warming up.... a cheap effective safe flushing agent !
