@davidds0 I did not say that the bottom isn't stealth, I did say that the back of the plane, the "exhaust'' is not stealth. all very great about the helmet. but the whole JSF project takes too much money for to low performance of the plane, even though not all types of JSF are not hovering, they still have the same amount of sound volume which is to high. and you can't see a Su37 not as a threat because that plane did not prove hisself, but he probably will against the JSF.
I am from the Netherlands that first - but when it comes to the dogfight the Su-27 and the skill, training of the pilot can out maneuver every plane in the world except another Su-27. I think you shouldn't underestimate the russian combat-technology - it is very practical designed and again besides a good plane you also have a good quality of pilots needed. Carefully said the Isrealis just encountered a lower class of pilots.
tools are but one part of battle. it is verry hard to predict an outcome of battle basing your judgments on the abilities of vehicles alone. there are things like tactics, morale, training.
i'm not gonna lie, i've never seen any non-russian/non-soviet aircraft do this kinda shit, and it fucking blows away everything else i've seen at the airshows here in the west

@davidds0 It is based on the news I read on the internet and news papers. there are for the hovering engine already 2 test engines made, so 2 different typs, No.1 failed, did not have enough power and was too loud, engine 2 has the right percentage of power, but is waaay to loud, louder than the F16 (based on a test the Dutch made) steatlh is good, but the F35 has less good armory, also the back of the plane is not stealth, and is deadly, Su37 locks on it, and you can say bye by to your F35.
I think one thing with the this new kind of generation is overlooked. The afforability and the cost of development. What nation can afford a fleet of Su37 , F-22 or such aircraft? US, China, Russia, maybe some Arab. And if no nation want a sizeable number of fighters the builders will probably go bankrupt. ... The succes in the MIG 21, F-5 , MIG 29, F16 lies not only in its design and what it can - but also in the cost of maintain and the price of the plane within the defense budget.
Okay, the SU-37 has maneuverability. The F-22 has stealth and isn't bad on maneuverability. The French have the Rafale. The British have the Typhoon. There's more to plane than if they can do a 360 in mid-air.

it still will be stealth. hit a raptor with a bullet, only increases radar reflection area by about 1/4th inch, depending on calibre. but wait, 80% of raptor structure is not even steel/metal!!! its mostly carbonfibre composites..
