I loved Vincent Pérez and what he brought once of my favorites after the first and come one cameo by the deftones 😮

Nice review and you made some interesting points, what the Weinstein's did to this film was criminal because i think there is a good film in there but what we got was a butchered mess and its safe to say i don't think will be ever get to see the directors original vision for this film. Cannot wait to see your review of the 4th movie Wicked Prayer, brace yourself before watching my friend!

While I know its a delicate balance between creativity and profitability due to all the money on the line, I just wish the studios would actually trust the people they hired to helm these projects. Its ridiculous how many good films end up getting destroyed because of stories like this time and time again. If a legit Tim Pope director's cut came out I would give this movie another chance. With how these movies have been going progressively downhill I'm not expecting the best for Wicked Prayer lol

Watched both back in the day. The Crow (even with all its issues) has stuck with me. The Crow: City of Angels? All I remember is it was shot in a piss yellow hue.

The sets on The Crow: COA are pretty great but the yellow hue surrounding everything, I agree makes it look ugly. So…mission accomplished lol

@@WeAreFilmStash From memory, I believe the director stated in an interview that he was robbed in an area lit with sodium lamps (they have that yellow hue) and he found that lighting "scary" as a result.

The remake makes Crow City of Angels look like the original..

Both aren’t that great tbh but the action in the new one was at least good
