    Thanks for making this video - it's really helpful. One question though, at 19 you can set the charge voltage cutoff, but after it cuts off at what voltage does it come back on again to begin charging? Is that also adjustable?

    • @Roll2Videos
      @Roll2Videos  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It comes back on above the low voltage cut-off. If you have utility first on, the charging will happen when the battery is below the float voltage. Review setting #1 carefully.

    Im watching your video and saw you set your battery at 28.8v? Would that stress your battery out being fully charged? Also did you build your won battery from the lifepo cells or already built batteries?

    • @Roll2Videos
      @Roll2Videos  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Welcome to the hobby. With LifePO4 I could charge upto 29.2v I'm being conservative at 28.8v. Check out the voltage curve on a lithium battery it's relatively flat I'm set to just after the curve up, Same with my bottom voltage it's just before the curve down. I'd say I'm between 20% to 80% SOC.

    Heres hoping you can help me understand the Growatt functionality, I have 2 12v LIFEPO4 batteries in series, they were fully charged and balanced with one another before being put into service, I have a shunt to monitor the charge of the battiers, what I cannot wrap my head around are the settings so I will share what I have and explain my issues, settin 1 sbu, 2 30amp, 03-ups, 05-us2, 10-2, 11-50amp, 12-25v, 13-28.5v, 14-snu, 19-28,8v, 20-28.8v, 21-23v, 22-sbe, . What I thought was the battery would charge with a combination of solar and grid, then when the solar was unavailable the grid would charge the batterys, however what happens is, when the battery falls below 25v the solar and grid combine to charge the battery but the charging stops at 28.5v instead of the 28.8v settings. this is where setting 13 & 19 are confusing, any help you can give would be appreciated :)

    • @Roll2Videos
      @Roll2Videos  ปีที่แล้ว

      Put your batteries in parallel and charge them to 14.6 to balance them. Sounds like one of the batteries BMS is stopping charging before the other. Don't try to charge to 100% and don't discharge to 0% also set your float lower.

    • @UnkyjoesPlayhouse
      @UnkyjoesPlayhouse ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Roll2Videos actually I was told by the battery vendor to charge each battery independent of the other to 14.6, then connect them together in parallel for 12-24 hours to balance them, my problem is the Growatt stops charging at 28.5v instead of the 28.8v that I have it set to, thus the confusion on the settings of the growatt. The batteries are not shutting down, they will continue to charge if I change the 28.5v setting higher.
