    Excellent review. Really hoping that Growatt makes a 5000W model like this where I can use 2 in parallel to get split phase. Their 12KW model is an excellent device but given that it's low frequency, it's quite heavy.

    The dry contact used to be for neutral bonding through an external bonding relay. I wonder if they have put the bonding internal now. I'd suggest doing a test on grid vs off grid with an outlet tester and see if the neutral is properly bonded in both positions now.

    • @Roll2Videos
      @Roll2Videos  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is not bonded when off grid. I'm going to make a future video explaining this. I will be bonding it as well as making my own earth ground.

      @@Roll2Videos It's one feature I really wish they'd make internal at this point. It wouldn't even cost them much to do so. @@Roll2Videos I think that is the volts either when cold or extremely warm that the system can handle. But you wouldn't use that for calculating the wattage hence using the other optimal volts with normal conditions. Here we adv high 20's to 30's for lows but have had teens so for 5-15*F the factor is 1.16. My Voc is 120.9 on the series total, 120.9 * 1.16 = 140.24 VOC which is below the threshold. My Vmpp is 33.9 each so 101.7v for series Impp is 18.74 for the 3s2p. 18.74 * 101.7 = 1905 watts. If you find I didn't get this information right please let me know as then I would also be over wattage for the Growatt.

      I'm not sure, I no longer have this unit hooked up. Not very loud from what I can remember.

    Is the Growatt compatible with my 206 ah SOK battery?

      Sok have great batteries. 1 Sok is 12v you would need a pair in series to make 24v in-order for the Growatt to work. Thank you for the question.

      I want to build a 24 volt system when I get another 12 volt 206 ah SOK.
      I have a TT and how to tie 24 volts into my TT so the outlets work is confusing to me. Know of any good videos?
