- The Hohem iSteady MT2 has made a believer out of me and many content creators. However, I've only seen reviews that just brush the surface of what this filming beast is capable of and not many serve as tutorials or indepth reviews. You can use your phone, action camera, dslr, and compact cameras with this kit that supplies all attachments for each. This gimbal replaces two of my three gimbals so now I can sell them and have more capabilities for less. I truly consider this the best gimbal of 2023. That's right, I bought this this gimbal and it costs around $300 and also delivers all of the capabilities of much more expensive gimbals. I have a DJI RSC2 w/ RavenEye for my a6400, and the fact that I had to rely on a phone and app to achieve tracking while I'm being a cameraman and talent was frustrating. The Hohem MT2 changed all that for me. Now I have a $1000 DJI paperweight on my shelf 😁
Funny you say that because mine (RSC2 with Raveneye) just sits on the shelf now as well. I love this new device. It simplifies a lot for me.

Good video, the camera all you were able to put was the light 50mm topping to the max, then the L series will be too heavy then. Mine is working great so far for mobile but looking to put a r5 and r5c on this device. I sent back the m6 for the better payload and 4 axis and locks, the L bracket is good but not to practical for my taste. May just have to get a much lighter camera for this one.
Understood. I must say though, I truly love this gimbal and feel the same way of thinking which cameras I can use with it vs, I’ll buy a bigger gimbal. In my case, I have bigger gimbals that I use for weddings but using the tracking is on point. Such a cool invention.

Yeah. But that comes at a cost. I have the DJI Ronin RSC with the Raveneye but yeah, it’s just a bit more hehe.
@@SeanHelmsMedia Very neat setup! The gimbal that I have been using is alright, but nothing too crazy. It's the ManFrotto MVG220.
I wish this one had the handle. I may get one later. I’m not that familiar with yours but it has good reviews.
what arca swiss asessories have you or anyone purchased that fit this gimbal besides hohem acessories?
I personally can’t speak to this because I haven’t needed to add anything else other than my aforementioned video gear.
@@SeanHelmsMedia i am trying to figure out a quicker way to move from the gimball to selfie stick to other mounts and arca swiss seems like the most affordable option. i cannot get any arca swiss plates from other companies to fit this thing. Hohem sales and techs keep telling me their system is arca swiss. i think it may be proprietary but resembles arca swiss so they just say it is .
Quick question, I just got mine, but I can hear a noise from the motors specially that one in front, I think it's normal but most of the time it gets annoying. Do you have the same annoying noise?
I don’t have any noise. In the past with some gimbals, the balance had to be reset to ensure better balance placement of the camera to alleviate motor vibration noise. Other than that, you could have received one with a minor defect.
it's normal a lot of noise when you're using the IA to track yourself? even in the video is recorded and it's annoying.
when i used the joy app, the "focus" on object didn't work, idk if it's a problem of the gimbal or something else.
If I’m tracking what you’re saying, it most likely comes down to camera settings. The tracking shouldn’t effect grain if you’re using a low iso and proper frame rates. I’ll digest more of this next week because I’m out of town on a trip.

Hir your mode button 7 times to go to pairing mode. Then turn on the remote and they’ll pair. After this just turn on your remote and the. Your gimbal and they’ll be paired.

Does the MT2 also have the ability to change from landscape to portrait at the touch of a button?
No. You have to change the position of the device hence the “L” bracket.

Can I use this gimbal for my Sony DSC WX 350 cyber shot camera...it has wifi too ...
A smaller camera as such should have no problem with this gimbal.

Hello! I have received mine but I have an issue, why does inception mode stops mid way?
You made me go check and I used my phone and got 360 rotation. Maybe you need to ensure when balancing your device that you hold the gimbal in flashlight mode in front of you and make sure the camera is nice and balanced in a forward orientation. Thanks for watching.
Okay, I’ll try balance this one more time 😭 it thought gimbal is just a gimbal, turns out it’s like a scope for my riffle… so many adjustment
