I think that conspiracy theorists just can't deal with the fact that ancient civilizations weren't as rudimentary as we'd like to believe. The existence of aliens and ancient civilizations being developped enough to construct elaborate structures are concepts that can coexist without necessarily being linked.
Exactly!!! It’s so annoying to hear “the pyramids were built by aliens” even though we have proof of *how* the Egyptians figured out how to build them. Plus why would aliens build random pyramids that have no importance to them??
A lot of times when people are perplexed about history, it's pretty simple. Once there was a show where they wondered for 30 minutes how the pyramids were perfectly divisible by pi and a tired paleontologist was like "they probably just used a wheel to do their measurements" and the entire show collapsed. Or when they couldn't figure out how they did the hairstyles that defined gravity and a person said that's clearly sewn on and wasn't believed until they were proven right
Yeah they used dolerite pounding stones to carve perfect blocks and obelisk weighing hundreds of tons 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻not even to mention how they moved them , yeah you are pretty simple.
@@jacobross9271 No? They used hydraulic cranes powered by the water of the nile river to move the stones, you can literally read the documents pertaining to their construction if you visit the pyramids.
And even then it had already been proven thousands of years prior by a Greek philosopher. Eratosthenes proved the Earth was round by observing two towers, each in a different location and measuring the angles of the shadows made by the Sun at the same time of day. What he found was that both shadows cast different angles and from this he was able to calculate the Earth's circumference.
I want a time machine to travel back in time and introduce ancient civilization to memes, and get them to draw them on eventually to be ancient structures.. 😂
That's exactly what I was thinking when I went out to New Mexico and looked at petroglyphs. It's a bunch of rocks on the side of a hill and are claimed to be "ancient landmarks for other travelers" I went there and saw most of them myself and came to the conclusion that, based on the fact that most of them had the artistic equivalent to a child's art, the petroglyphs were most likely from the kids running off to play while the parents were busy while setting up camp.

@Low Bro all ancient religions have had such gods they worshipped for the sake of protecting and co habitating with the environment. At the same time these civilizations like Greek, Indian, Roman,....did great works in science, metallurgy, medical, astrology, and many other fields. Rather these religions were more tolerant and were practiced together with these sciences
i know right! as a history student with a passion for ancient civilisations specifically it infuriates me to see people just sweep all the enginuity and creativity under the rug and then scream aliens at it like a bunch of, frankly, idiots
Not even almost impossible. The sheer size of the universe and the fact that it's continuing to grow means that it's certain that there's an intelligent life form out there.
Mala Krasnostein well sure, there is almost a 100% chance that there is life outside of earth, not sure if it is intelligent life but there is almost definitely life.
Mala Krasnostein the only thing I doubt that after the Big Bang happened, there is another life form outside of earth that has progressed so quickly that they've already visited the earth over 1,000 years ago.
THANK YOU!!!! That's all I could think about when watching this and hearing Shane. Looking at the universe we have discovered (which is only like 1% of the universe) and proclaiming aliens don't exist is like taking a cup of water out of the ocean and declaring there are no fish in the whole ocean. I'm paraphrasing from Neil deGrasse Tyson of course
Well actually Egypt was one of the most mathematically and scientifically advanced civilizations so I’m sure they would have known what a right angle is Edit: Guys please avoid saying anything racist in my reply section!
Thank you! As an egyptian kinda offended when ppl say that it was "IMPOSSIBLE" to do it ancient egyptians were very good at many fields math,medical,astrology.....etc.
It’s not as simple as a right angle... the degrees to which it is off by is incredibly small. All 4 sides have a uncertainty of 4 millimeters from each. So what they made was a perfectly square building that had corners that point nearly perfectly in the cardinal directions. As well doing this as many times as there are layers throughout the pyramid. Experiment go out and grab a bunch of granite which is extremely tough to shape and then build a perfectly square or he’ll try even one square. If you can’t find granite see how hard it is for you to simply draw a perfect square. Then after you do that just go out and grab a bunch of people that don’t know what there are doing and command them to draw a perfect square when they have no idea what a right angle is, what a square is, straight line is, what anything you are building is.
Fake OG The people weren’t just random idiots trying to build something. They were directed by some of the best architects in the world. And just out of curiosity, do you think that aliens came to earth?
@@cmk9089 - They built canals and many many many other structures. Not surprising. If there were no other structures but these three pyramids maybe you have ground to stand on but you don't. If the aliens lived with them for hundreds of years there would be much much more.

As someone who's taken extensive ancient art history classes, I think it's fascinating that nobody ever accuses the Greeks of getting help from aliens. The columns of the Parthenon are curved at perfect subtle angles, and would require a compass a mile wide to get that result. We can't do that without modern machinery. In the restoration of the Parthenon, there are certain building techniques that we have needed to MAKE UP, using modern machinery, to replicate what they did. But no, just because the Greeks were Oh So Sophisticated and Western, it couldn't be aliens. (BTW, not saying the Parthenon was made by aliens. I believe neither ancient monument was made by aliens. ) Also, wasn't there evidence of ramps at later, similar tombs, specifically Hatshepsut's? Later Pharaohs didn't have the resources to replicate the scale of the Great Pyramids, but they still built more. IDK, I just think that these theories are pretty dismissive of the quality of ancient art, especially that of nonwhite cultures.
Stonehenge which is in England is thought of as created by aliens. It's not about people of color. The reason that Greek architecture was never thought of as created by aliens is that there was evidence of their mathematical abilities from their writings, many of which have been well preserved.
exactly!! thanks for putting this here so i didn't have to go on the same rant (i would probably do it much less eloquently). i don't know why people are so baffled by the idea that nonwhite ancient civilizations had creativity and intelligence. i mean, islamic scholars not only accurately diagrammed our solar system but calculated the circumference of the earth centuries before europeans even started thinking about the cosmos scientifically. i'm not surprised at all that the dogon tribe was able to do the same thing and took it further (the islamic empire was doing way more stuff than just astronomy at the time). and yes the greeks had more documentation, and thats just because thats what the greeks valued. most of african history was recorded through art and oral tradition, which is why we don't have written documentation. it's just a cultural difference! (research lukasa boards as a good example of other ways history was preserved in the area) and the egyptian architects were geniuses, and very careful planning was put into the great pyramids by incredibly intelligent people who had been practicing the art form for centuries beforehand. with the amount of resources the ancient egyptians had at the time, along with their advanced mathematic capability and knowledge of the cosmos, its totally probable for them to have built the great pyramids on their own.
@@anyal62 I'm always baffled when ignorant morons claim that these accusations of alien help are simply because of racism. It's like, don't comment if you have literally no idea what you are talking about and are only commenting to spread misinformation and division. It has literally nothing to do with them being non-white, which you would know if you did any research at all before sowing division.
Exact--a-freeking-lutely. Not dissing aliens at all, but there is no contradicting evidence that humans haven't been here longer and smarter than we currently think. Nothing but stone is permanent enough to give real history, and all we have right now to give a bookmark in humanity in America, is Mount Rushmore. I hate that it is the big monument for our time. Give me more examples, because I'd love to see them.
Considering the vast amount of information lost in the Alexandria library fire, it's very probable they had access to more advanced technology than we think. We have absolutely no idea what kind of literature was lost. There could have very well been schematics. Egyptians also had an entirely separate script for handwriting. They didn't write on paper in hieroglyphs. I doubt, for instance, they'd consider a shopping list important enough to be buried with. Also, the simple fact that any tools built with lumber may easily have rotten before any sandstone. The climate in that region at the time, was much wetter than it is now. For all we know they could have had water wheels, cranes and lifts. There is some evidence that Rome around this same era had mechanical clocks and gearing systems. Also, the argument that tools aren't depicted in art because... they're tools... is very valid. As an artist, I can't say I've ever been compelled to paint or draw a power drill. Not to mention the Dark Ages actively wiped out a lot of science (the ancient Greeks knew the world was round... the Church was like, "nah") and I'd dare to say set technological advancement back roughly 1,000 years.
Ryan needs to watch one of those videos where the guy builds an underground pool with just a stick. So he can understand that you can build stuff without power tools!

@@roboy4488 Modern humans emerged about 300,000 years ago. The Great Pyramid of Giza was built in about 2600 BCE. That was 4621 years ago. Why is it so hard to believe that ancient humans, who are anatomically identical to us, couldn't have gained the knowledge to build complex structures like the pyramids in that amount of time?
Ryan, this is just me correcting you. Im an indigenous Australian, those paintings are from my ancestors, and it may be easy for a person to interpret them the way you have, they are actually cultural paintings, these paintings are all over the country, all across the country, you and Shane should come to our most famous land mark: Uluru, to see how lovely they are. My elders still paint like this, they are not aliens, to me, these paintings instead look like a ceremony painting, as my people had hundred of languages across the country, they did not write and instead recorded things through art. Not being rude, just letting you know xx
Thank you for addressing the facts nicely! I do think that their are other life forms but probably not the ones we see in movies because we invented them.

Not indigenous but studied many Aboriginal artworks at school and learned many of the stories attached. The Mimis for instance are very tall and skinny w long arms and legs. I’m sure someone who doesn’t know what they are could think they are depictions of aliens but they are definitely not. Aboriginal art and culture has been so erased hardly anyone knows though. I’m so sorry for my ancestors mistakes and our modern leaders continually erasing what little has been left behind.
i agree with shane - people suggesting that the ancient egyptians or the people of tiwanaku couldn't possibly be smart enough to build those structures is disrespectful.
@Emperor Your version of technology and their version of technology were two different things. My ancestors were very advanced when it came to health and wealth. In the African mystery schools, they taught all sorts of different techniques to activate dormant abilities. Our ancestors were much more advanced than we are which is why they built great monuments your dirty scientist still can't figure out. And how smart our we? All I see from modern society is a whole bunch of pollution and a group of people to greedy and dumb to sustain themselves on one planet. Kemet (Egpyt) was an empire that lasted thousands of years with no pollution. America is only a few hundred years old and we've polluted the planet so much, people are wearing masks because the air is so dirty. I don't see much intelligence in modern society. So I don't care what your history books tell you. There's a caucasian version of history and there is an indigenous, autochthonous American version and I know my ancestors won't lie to me. Dirty caucasians will that's for sure.
We can't even build them today so how the hell was they going to do it back then that's why it's the 7th wonder of the world hello why are people so willing to accept that these ancient civilizations built and lifted things that we can't even live for bill today

most of our technology is a result of industrialisation though. I feel like we should all keep that in mind. I mean of course these ancient people had their fair share of discoveries made and they were of course intelligent you know, since they were able to adapt to their environment and discover new tools. And you know how science is always evolving ,meaning that in order for us to be an advanced society we had to take from them their knowledge and of course take off from there.because nothing comes from nothing. With that said,I feel like we should respect them because their initial discoveries are the foundation for our knowledge

Explanation for the hieroglyphics at 1:24: "These hieroglyphs are actually a result of re-carving the stone to replace some of the original hieroglyphics. The initial carving was made during the reign of Seti I, and the stone was later reused during the period of Ramsesses II with one carving being on top of the the other." There are images highlighting the seperate original and newer inscriptions, and they've both been translated to English. All it takes is a Google search lmao
The argument against that is there is no smoke residue that a torch would leave. Whether or not thats bullshit (on either the evidence isn't there, or a torch would undeniably leave detectable soot) I have no clue.
Subhan Mehmood i know im a week late but dont you think these were done while the pyramids were still in progress when the majority of the height of the pyramid was jot there yet and it was not enclosed? there was enough air to light a fire because it didnt have a top yet, it wasnt sealed. its not like the pyramids appeared and they started doodling on them afterwards, they most likely had artists working on the insides as they were building up the height, in order to serve the gods quicker.
aliens are totally real but things like the perfect maths of the pyramids is just brilliant people and trial and error. math and science are constantly being forgotten and rediscovered again and again. if the library of alexandria hadn't burned, im sure there'd be some answers in there. that being said im still addicted to this series.
I think aliens are just us humans from the future going back in time. Our planet is being destroyed day by day and the climate is changing drastically, so future humans will look very different from us in the present and might even move to another planet. But I do agree with you that the construction of pyramids was done by brilliantly itelligent people from the past and not extraterrestrial beings
I'm so with you in this one ✊️ it itches my brain every time people forget how much time and slave force this societies had. And I'm with Shane saying it's disrespectful, it's all based on assumptions about how science it's somehow discovered in modern European times 👎
Penélope Cifuentes Yeah, like they forgot that ancient civillisations have people like Phytagoras, Archimedes, Ptolemy, Euchlid, the various Chinese scientists, etc. (fuck Aristotle tho, that guy sucks). Also it's like they forgot Library of Alexandria existed. Imagine if we still have all of those lost knowledge.
There's an underlying assumption that humans weren't as intelligent or ingenious back then. They were arguably more imaginative and creative in ancient times. Economic stability provides hundreds of years of collective knowledge to build on, and Egypt was one of the most economically stable nations in ancient times due to the Nile. They were rich, powerful and deeply religious and Orion's belt is one of the brightest constellations. I don't doubt human ability enough to believe in aliens.
Thank YOU! By studying just a little about ancient civilizations, namely the Egyptian one, anyone would understand how deeply intelligent and smart they were when it comes to science, math, astronomy etc. Nowadays people don't give them the credit they deserve because we assume 'we're smarter and more evolved' than our ancient counterparts.
Kveld if you watch the video, it's because it's said the ancient Egyptians had help from aliens since the pyramids of giza are aligned with Orion's belt.
I hate when alien theorists disregard actual human advancement and creativity to something that they could have never done on their own....as if they forget we're still doing it till this day....constantly evolving technologically, its like in a 1000 years some theorist suddenly wakes up and decides that in the earlier days elon musk must have been alien to think of the space-ex program :p
…🤦♂️some of the things earlier civilizations have done, we cannot replicate without modern technology. Unless you think ancient civilizations had technology far superior than ours, don’t blame people for assuming.
No it’s more arrogant and stupidity of human beings to think that human beings are actually smart and that such primitive civilizations would have any idea close to building things that needs modern technology.
I think we don't give ancient ppl enough credit for their hard work. I really wish the library of Alexandria wouldn't have burnt down ugh makes me so mad. Ppl that time were pretty intelligent and tons of information was either burnt or lost throughout the thousands of years😔
Baby skulls are very susceptible to deformities due to the sutures not being fully closed, hence the abnormal skulls of Tiwanaku (& other tribes in the zone). They did this with multiple methods depending on the required shape, mostly involving planks and rubber bands. You can actually fact check this yourself if you have a spare baby lying around & you force them to sleep on the floor. Without somewhere to rest their heads in a comfier fashion, their skulls usually succumb to the pressure of hard materials. I'm an anthropologist & I couldn't contain myself to explain this phenomenon lmao.
In regards to Shane's comment on magnetic North and the sun...yeah, that actually makes sense. I don't remember all the details, but I know when I learned about ancient Egypt the teacher mentioned mythology of the pyramids and how they built them in relation to the sun moving because of the strong association between Ra (the sun god) and the Pharohs
I would like to tell you that a new research has emerged which highly suggests that sun was used to create electricity in pyramids. So the position of the Pyramid was made so that the rays can charge the conductor. Maybe they believed it was associated with Sun God but still they were hi-tech.
okay, so i totally believe in aliens. I think there is no possible way that we're alone in this universe. but ryan, its a fucking box. not a MacBook pro.
I believe in aliens, I just don't think they have ever been here. The likelihood that another civilization would be around during our tiny window of existence, and that they would be similar enough to even interact, and would look so much like us (arms and legs, eyes and a mouth, walk upright in a similar way) is soooo tiny it's hardly worth considering.
the ancient Egyptians were a highly advanced civilization! not to mention, this was long before the library of Alexandria was burned, which we have no idea of the contents. they could've had complicated mathematics and knowledge of the universe!
*"I'm already fed up with the folders by the way, looks too official, considering the nonsense that is within."* - Shane, 2017 Now that's a good quote.
Theorists: They couldn’t have used ramps because they’re not there now Every construction worker ever: Guys... we take the scaffolding _down_ after we’re done using it....
Also a fact unrelated to aliens but seem to be missed most of the time was that the pyramids were built by highly respected workers and architects not slaves as many would believe. After death, those who have done work on the pyramids would have their bodies buried in forts near the pyramids they themselves built.
They used pulley inside the pyramid and to haul block on boats.. I don't think they did a lot of research. Archeologist found all the tools needed to work the pyramids, including sites where they worked the blocks, there were even unfinished blocks there. There's something to be said about refusing to see evidence there...
The Egyptians have been a culture for millennia. At the time the pyramids were built, there is no evidence of the wheel. There are panels that show pulling sledges
ThisAnimatedPhantom I can't imagine but to hear it would be priceless! Probably that we seemed to be a very vain, wasteful, violent, and destructive society.
The real question is, why would the aliens help us move big rocks. I mean, the light years they travel to get here, then they just decide, you know what, those native people are struggling moving big rocks, lets us our antigravity thingymabobs. Alien crew member: can't we just tow the rocks with our ship Captain: no, it has to look cool so future humans will be impressed. While your at it, tell them about the dual star system. Imho, regardless if the blueprints were allegedly burned down, the Egyptians love placing Hieroglyphs and have done so to put a stamp on everything they praised, made or achieved, with regards to the pyramids if they did built them, it should have contained writings etched in stone that would have been preserved for eons within its hard casing walls like with the valley of the Kings, the absence of such inside the so called gigantic tombs may mean they had nothing to do in building them and the scary part here is, it seems they never even tried, was that because of pride? At a time when conquering was a thing? We may never know the truth sadly for as long as politics and greed are still prevalent surrounding the structures.
@@strafe_breaker3440 there are a few hieroglyphs in the pyramids which state the name of the workers and the king for whon it was built. It's just not displayed to the public, that's all.

It's also worth noting that people from ancient times all the way up through the pre renaissance (and even in some surrealist works of today) used size of a figure to denote importance. Where are the ancient alien scholars to make conspiracies about all those pictures of ten foot tall saints and virgin maries?
the issue i have with this is that each of these ancient civilizations whose intellect are being questioned all happen to be non-european peoples while all the widely accepted "great thinkers" who "discovered" mathmatics, physics, astronomy, etc. all happen to be european. why is it completely implausible that these ancient civilizations had developed a deep understanding of the world, but it makes sense that within the short span of a few of hundred years european scholars suddenly started making these discoveries and marking the existence of these thoughts and ideas??? does this not sound familiar?? idk man, i'll leave it at that.
This isn't relevant for any alien bits but for anyone curious: Head elongating was performed on newborns as the skull plates haven't all fused yet (so they can fit through the birthing canal). Newborn skulls are malleable enough to be permanently shaped when born as some ancient Central and Southern American civilisations did. The shaping boards wouldn't need to be worn throughout the life, as the skull plates don't take too long to fuse Please don't try this

The "laptop" is actually a wax tablet from ancient Rome and they were used like notebooks to write down things like, vending transactions or little notes. 9:23 The Egyptians *did* have simple pulleys, wheels and work animals. There are literally hundreds of hieroglyphs depicting their use. The pharaos had chariots. The farmers had oxen. Also, wooden wheels were pretty much useless when loaded with 2.5 tons, that's why they used solid rollers and sledges. Also shown in hieroglyphs. "No wheels" is irrelevant. 10:20 Since the magnetic north is always moving, it can never be perfectly aligned. You're confusing geographic north. They knew about that kind of north, they did extensive astronomy. North is pretty easy to figure out. 10:31 They didn't know about or use imperial feet. This has more to do with how the Egyptians defined the slope, or seked. To put it simple, there are lots of fractions that approximate pi quite accurate. And the Egyptians knew about pi, there are papyri explaining how to calculate, or approximate it. Also, this is almost a thousand years after the Sumerians. They knew about quadratics (surface area), cubes (volume), pi (if you use wheels to measure out things, you get lengths that curiously enough have the same ratio to the diameter...), and much more. All of this was already old news to the Egyptians really. 10:59 *The Pyramids of Giza do not align with Orion's belt.* Not unless you first flip the entire plateau upside down (e.g. it bends the wrong way). If everything was built with such accuracy, like "fifteen digits of pi" accurate, they wouldn't make such a big and glaring mistake.

Well said Brenna :)

exactly!! thanks for putting this here so i didn't have to go on the same rant (i would probably do it much less eloquently). i don't know why people are so baffled by the idea that nonwhite ancient civilizations had creativity and intelligence. i mean, islamic scholars not only accurately diagrammed our solar system but calculated the circumference of the earth centuries before europeans even started thinking about the cosmos scientifically. i'm not surprised at all that the dogon tribe was able to do the same thing and took it further (the islamic empire was doing way more stuff than just astronomy at the time). and yes the greeks had more documentation, and thats just because thats what the greeks valued. most of african history was recorded through art and oral tradition, which is why we don't have written documentation. it's just a cultural difference!

Why can’t we actually think that ancient civilizations were smart
Exact--a-freeking-lutely. Not dissing aliens at all, but there is no contradicting evidence that humans haven't been here longer and smarter than we currently think. Nothing but stone is permanent enough to give real history, and all we have right now to give a bookmark in humanity in America, is Mount Rushmore. I hate that it is the big monument for our time. Give me more examples, because I'd love to see them.
Also if there were aliens before why aren't they visiting now huh

The initial carving was made during the reign of Seti I, and the stone was later reused during the period of Ramsesses II with one carving being on top of the the other." Our planet is being destroyed day by day and the climate is changing drastically, so future humans will look very different from us in the present and might even move to another planet. But I do agree with you that the construction of pyramids was done by brilliantly itelligent people from the past and not extraterrestrial beings

In regards to Shane's comment on magnetic North and the sun...yeah, that actually makes sense. Me too lmao I was like “ITS CALLED PERSPECTIVE”
It's also worth noting that people from ancient times all the way up through the pre renaissance (and even in some surrealist works of today) used size of a figure to denote importance. Where are the ancient alien scholars to make conspiracies about all those pictures of ten foot tall saints and virgin maries?
I know technology was worse back then but I don’t get how art was
🤣🤣🤣
the issue i have with this is that each of these ancient civilizations whose intellect are being questioned all happen to be non-european peoples while all the widely accepted "great thinkers" who "discovered" mathmatics, physics, astronomy, etc. all happen to be european. why is it completely implausible that these ancient civilizations had developed a deep understanding of the world, but it makes sense that within the short span of a few of hundred years european scholars suddenly started making these discoveries and marking the existence of these thoughts and ideas??? does this not sound familiar?? idk man, i'll leave it at that.

This isn't relevant for any alien bits but for anyone curious:
Head elongating was performed on newborns as the skull plates haven't all fused yet (so they can fit through the birthing canal). Newborn skulls are malleable enough to be permanently shaped when born as some ancient Central and Southern American civilisations did. The shaping boards wouldn't need to be worn throughout the life, as the skull plates don't take too long to fuse Please don't try this
I've seen people doing this in South Asia. They use a small cushion filled with rice to change the shape of a baby's head.
@Ameen Shindoli That's F'N amazing!! Tbh though scientist say there is a 1 in a billion chance for life to exist on any planet, with quadrillions of planet in our dimension, it seems impossible for us to be alone....

“It equals Pi” have you considered the possibility that they used wheels for their measurements...
I commented the same thing a while ago😂 great minds think alike I guess
Exactly.
good stuff Skeletor!
Skeletor iam not dissing your thought but Egyptians didn’t have the wheel till Greeks invaded and that was a long time after the built the pyramids and the didn’t understand more advanced math until also the Greeks invaded then they mixed there math and Greek and Roman math to create the base of mathematics that we learn in school today also the myians helped to but not as much a lot of there knowledge was wrong
@@haileighhaefner6232 bullshit. Wheels where known in mesopotamia as well as the old Agypt. The oldest pictorial proof of a wheel in Agypt is from the 6. dynasty (2347-2216 B.C.!!!)
They had chariots well before the greeks arrived, just look at the hyroglyphs in Ra's temple depicting the wars of Ramses II.
The battle of kadesh has chariot's in it with rims at 1274 BC.
Inform yourself before spewing such bullshit, or even better visit that amazing country on your own and see with your own eyes. Than also all the stupid theories about aliens would stop.

As an art historian, I'm just laughing through this whole video. Art is NOT evidence for aliens. If you even briefly study ancient cultures, you can see that.

The "laptop" is actually a wax tablet from ancient Rome and they were used like notebooks to write down things like, vending transactions or little notes. The"USB ports" have been theorized to have been places where they tied the stylus to the wooden frame of the tablet, which they used much like a pencil to write things in the wax with the pointy end, and scrape the wax clear with the other like an eraser.
Fun fact! The helicopter hieroglyphic and the ones near it and actually the result of hieroglyphs being stacked carved on top of each other and parts fading/eroding until you get certain shapes
When Ryan wants to believe something, his logic-meter drops to zero.

"Two possibilities exist, either we are alone or we aren't, both are equally terrifying."
-Arthur C. Clarke
I think I'd be less terrified knowing we're alone in the universe, because then I'd feel safer knowing that there isn't another intelligent race out there that'd like to conquer - or destroy - Earth
western world: finds out that civilizations figured out the stars far before they could
western world: cant be. they were definitely told by aliens that we don’t have any proof for.
*insert the color card meme from family guy*
“ nah they were too dark skinned to have found out themselves”
There are also hieroglyphics clearly depicting things that literally can not be anything but aircraft, so go figure.
And before you try to write a pointless novel in reply like your initial post, NO you can not logically name them anything but aircraft.
I wholeheartedly agree about the wheels being useless under so much weight, tho. Not to mention they'd have to roll in sand lol
@@agentelvis81 yes I can. They are not airplanes, logically or otherwise. It is called pareidolia.

why does the background music always contribute in 90 percent of the scariness in these kind of scary shows
I know right!!!
VON VOX I
It always makes it more scary than it should
fun fact there is a reason for this !!! Sounds of suspense add to the fear factor, if you were to watch a horror movie without sound, you would most likely feel no form of fear. odd example but; i was in class one day and this kid was watching a horror movie trailer with earphones in and i was watching without sound, and it scared him half to hell when i remained unfazed. (And i am a v e r y jumpy person, so it's not
like i'm so weird superhuman who can't get scared)
it's all about the type of music, im sure if you added something peppy and lost the sound effects (which also amplify fear), you wouldn't get scared !

He was Visiting Research Scientist at the Department of Astrophysical Sciences at Princeton University. He is a member of the American Astronomical Society, Astronomical Society of the Pacific, International Planetarium Society, New York Academy of Sciences, American Physical Society and American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
He has a lot of Research Publications in astrophysics (e.g. Bursting Dwarf Galaxies: Implications for Luminosity Function, On the possibility of Gas-Rich Dwarf Galaxies in the Lyman-alpha Forest, Radial Velocity Distribution and Line Strengths of 33 Carbon Stars and a lot more).
He got Hubbard Medal for Distinction in Exploration, Discovery, and Research, in addition to that he got Medal of Excellence at Columbia University, and he was named as one of the 50 Most Important Blacks in Research Science by Science Spectrum Magazine.
The fact that he is a science communicator does not make him „ not a scientist“.

Does anyone else feel like saying that 'Alien's did this' kind of stuff discounts the idea that these people weren't intelligent and capable of making this like the interlocking blocks that are mentioned? Its almost as if it discounts the fact that people can be intelligent and determined
just note what kind of cultures most of these theories are about.... yikes.
give me a break ...alien enthusiasts are like conspiracy theorists they use anything that further prove their claims...will use anything!!!!!! stop making it a race thing omfg...and I don't mean you directly I just see some people commenting stuff like "Black people and other cultures get no credit"
if anything some people couldn't solve how the Pyramids were built so to some people it's unsolvable ...so to them it's only one possible answer; ALIENS...don't act like the every single person on earth thinks the same...I could bet you more people in the world would think that the pyramids were build with slaves than with Aliens...and they were not built with slaves...and def not aliens...this is some youtube series ...it';s entertainment...peopel are butthurt in some of these comments like these are historians making claims or someshit
The problem is that what is being said don't add up which gives room for people
To think something else happened. Either they were way smarter and advance then we say they were or it wasn't built in 23 years it is really that simple. The drawing argument is hard to Debunk as just 'art' cause people from across the world that never met or talked draw same 'alien' like stuff. Odds of thousands of thousands of people drawing the same 'art' is very doubtful. Present day with us being stronger and bigger we couldn't do the pyramids in 23 years with power tool
Computers and trucks/lifts. Even with all that we would need 4-8 years they said to do
ManaKage Do you have the pull the fucking race card? It’s not about the cultures, it’s just that in this time period humans didn’t really populate all of the world yet.
