Christianity doesn’t make sense to you because JW is a cult. Not an official, nor accepted branch of Christianity. Jesus Christ IS God and IS real and WILL fulfill His Word which is found in the Bible. God bless you man! Hope you come to the truth which is found in the Lord Jesus Christ!

So jesus is god who sent himself as his son to be killed on behalf of his father (himself) to save the sins of humans which he knew would not work because he knows the future and therefore knew the outcome in advance. My question is ...was that child abuse or self abuse

🤭 Alright man. But when He comes back or you go from this world before His coming… I hope you can tell Him to His face that same comment! Repent my friend, and turn from your sins. ❤️‍🩹

Hey William, good question. Let’s answer it.
First of all, it did work. Christianity has had billions and billions of followers and I, and a handful of other Christians, can attest to you that His sacrifice was very much real and very much works.
You see, sin is still in the world because repentance is your choice. You can either choose to be in your sins or turn away from them. He doesn’t force us to be cleansed from them because His sacrifice was out of love. And if you love someone- you’re not even going to force yourself onto them in any proximity.
You see, the other reason why it works is because God, who is all-knowing, omnipotent, omnipresent, etc. knew and understood that the sacrifice Christ had to withstand on the Cross was the perfect, and sufficient sacrifice. We need to understand that God knows better than we do and Biblically, the passion makes sense.
… This wasn’t a matter of “child” or “self” abuse. Christ is God and the second person of the Holy Trinity- meaning He had the option to say no. He didn’t have to die for our sins, but He wanted to do that we could be redeemed, transformed and reconciled to our Creator, which is ultimately God. Repent of your sins my friend, but I hope this cleared up your questions.

    • @mayjailer682
      @mayjailer682 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

Another reason why Christ had to die for our sins was because that was our punishment. Sin is a violation of God’s character, it’s the barrier that keeps you and I and everyone else away from Him.
But you and I could never atone for our sins because we will never be naturally righteous or holy. God needed justice for what has been done against Him and to other people. (For ex: if, God forbid, someone you loved was murdered- wouldn’t you want that murderer to go to jail?) same idea. Sin is destructive and needed to be atoned for because of how tainting and damaging it is.

And God wanted the blood of lambs because it is a theme in the bible that Jesús is the lamb and his blood was spilled to save his people its really poetic if you think about it.

I love you man and Im glad you made your way out of the JW organizations.
Im not here to tell you Im right or morally superior to anyone however Jesus is and if you have only heard the "JW Gospel" or the "Mormon Gospel" than you havent heard the real gospel. As you mention in your video, it seems quite hypocritical to say that only your religion has the right Jesus, but really, I'm trying to tell you that we have the best historical account of who he is. We have 5700 koine greek manuscripts even some of the earliest mentioning in John 1:18 calling Jesus the "monogenes Theos" (the one of a kind God).
You've probably heard a lot of what i've already commented and whats left in this message but the real question is who really is Jesus Christ?
Obviously a false christ doesnt have the power to save. Not only that, but if you ask every major world religion, they adopted Jesus into their religion.
If you ask the Hindu, they would say that Jesus is one of their 33 million gods. If you asked the Buddhist, they would say that Christ had a Christ consciousness. If you asked a Muslim, they would say that he's Esah a great prophet who didnt die on the cross. If you asked Jehovah's witness, they would say he's Michael the arch angel, the first and greatest creation of jehovah God. If you asked the mormon, who Jesus is, they would say he's the brother of Lucifer and they dont profess the trinity, they technically profess tritheism which is really just a small part of their polythiestic religion. They themselves believed that god was once a man and that he became god and they become a god to.
When we go to the earliest eye witness accounts of who Jesus was and who was around Jesus as he was walking on earth, they record him saying follow me. You obviously probably heard John 14:6.

      1. When a Christian starts with how much they love a potential recruit, just before they launch in their recruitment pitch,
      that's just love-bombing.
You can't love someone on a personal level if you don't even know them personally.
Nor can you love someone in the general sense of brotherly/sisterly love for all humans,
when your worship a deity who plans to kill (or eternally torment) any-or-most of those humans
      forever
unless they join your "totally not a religion".

      2.
"Im not here to tell you Im right or morally superior to anyone"
      ---
      That is also false.
Because the only way you can make that true
is if you completely abandon the premise that:
becoming a Christian has anything to do with embracing morality (or "righteousness").
If "accepting (your conceptualization of) Jesus as a person's lord and savior"
      vs
      someone NOT doing that
has nothing to do with moral character (aka "their heart condition")
      then:
your "God" would have no available justification for passing moral judgments on people based on whether or not they have "accepted" him as such.

      3. "Jesus is (morally superior to Justin Porter)".
      ---
      Based on what criteria?
You can't even demonstrate with facts, logic, or ethics that Magic-Jesus even exists.
The only "Jesus" qualified scholars will say "probably existed" was a fallible muggle-Jesus.
The stories themselves paint Jesus as a mix of wise-zen-master and schizophrenic religious bigot who "came only for the Jews".
He was NOT trying to start Christianity.
      Instead,
he was merely trying to get the Jews to reason and behave better,
in preparation for the literal end of the world
      in their lifetime,
when only proper Jews (no gentiles) would be spared
when God establishes the promised Jewish kingdom on Earth.
      Prophecy failed.
Paul scavenged that failed apocalyptic cult from the dumpster of failed cults,
and then gave it a whole new theological framework.
But I'm still not impressed with the character of "Jesus" in those stories, because he was a randomly irrational and violent ethnic-supremacist.
He was also a habitually homeless, jobless, self-medicating, amateur magician, and cult-leader.
In the end of those stories, he argues with the voice of "God" to please NOT make him un-alive himself.
The voice of "God" (in his head) successfully pressures him into going through it.
But then Jesus blames everyone but himself for his own choices.
I'm sorry. But he lost his battle with mental illness. And my heart breaks (2 thousand years later) for what his madness drove him to do TO HIMSELF.
But sane people have no good excuse for pushing that still-evolving but still-awful cult into each next century.

      4.
"if you have only heard the "JW Gospel" or the "Mormon Gospel" than you havent heard the real gospel."
      --
      Which is more likely?
      That
an all-knowing, all-wise, all-powerful Super-Being is really THAT BAD at communicating,
and THAT BAD at reaching everyone
with a barely-adequate (at best) articulation of his "message"
      or
      That
      no such being
      is trying to use you
      to do any such thing?
      ---
This is the same point made in a famous quote from a Star Trek movie:
"What does GOD need with a starship?"
Why does an omni-everything BEING need:
      fallible human story-tellers,
a gossip chain (decades long; and sometimes centuries-long) to carry those stories forward,
      later writers,
      later editors,
later random "not the truth church(es) to cherry pick which letters will become part of a new bible,
      more later writers,
      more later editors,
      competing translators,
making competing (and corrupted) versions of "the truth",
more competing churches deciding what any of it means,
      later apologists overruling those churches,
      etc..?
If a GOD relies on fallible people, then a GOD is relying on a method of communication
that is messy, corrupt, and broken.
That means he's letting countless "prospective members" fall through the cracks on his "Grand Plan", because of how many people will die before hearing any version,
and how many more will die before hearing "the real version",
and how many more will die being unable to psychologically process "the real version" correctly because of how they were raised, and because of mental illness, and because of low IQ, and because of unhealed traumas, etc..
Now, you can theorize that he'll just "judge those people based on their heart (aka "moral character"). But if that's the case, then why send Christian messengers and indoctrinators around to anyone at all in the first place?

      ---
Ok., first, no church or sect has dibs on those, to be able to say "we alone have them".
      Next,
      most of those "manuscripts" are tiny torn pieces;
from scrolls that were never found.
Next, most of the larger manuscripts are from MANY centuries later. So scholars don't even bother including those in their efforts to reconstruct the earliest versions of the stories they represent.
Next. as for John 1:18, see "Does the Bible Identify Jesus as “God the Son”?"
      by Dan McClellan.
He explains the reasons why the lost originals probably didn't say "theos" there.

From creation to the flood is an analogous story framed on the template of each humans life. Noah starts the first what is called a monomyth. The Bible is structured like any material from antiquity. It is simply in a genre meant o guide sheep. Jason sailing through the Clashing Rocks is the same template step where Moses crosses the Red Sea. Supernatural is for the masses who can't manage life or death. Watch this one. Jesus and Arthur.
Jesus was 'called' as the only son of God, had 'supernatural powers,' traveled with 'hand picked disciples' and instructs to seek the 'Kingdom of Heaven within.'
King Arthur was 'called' as the only one who could get Excalibur, had Merlin for 'supernatural powers,' traveled with 'hand picked knights' and seeks the 'Holy Grail.'
These steps are for a reason. They are not sharing the story. They are creating new stories with different analogouis terms on the exact same template. That template is what we're after. The religion is for the many called. The template is for the few chosen. Atheism isn't finding the template either. It's just denying the ridiculous supernatural claims. But something is in there for those who know how to find it.

As far as the gospels are concerned, the catholic-orthodox faction has hidden or tossed the template centuries ago, as far back as around 115 CE when Ignatius wrote that Jesus really was born of a virgin, he really was crucified, he really suffered and died under Pilate and the whole nine yards. The forger of 2nd Peter said the same thing around 90 to 100 CE.

Sorry but I had to turn off your video because it was for me not worth listening to. I have no idea what your point about Christianity not making sense is. What I do know is that Christ is the complete revelation of God to mankind. God was revealed through generations through the Jewish people based on various prophets and a historical witness. Then Christ came into the world as foretold and took things to a greater level, most importantly revealing and demonstrating that God, for whatever reason, loves us, and that we do live after we die, however how we live in the next life is based on how we lived this life. God gives us complete free will, we can love Him or hate Him, we can love light or love darkness. What does not make sense of that?

Some aren't happy till they make fun of someone that chooses to be a free thinking individual. If you're not part of the herd then you're weird. It amazes me after all these generations, some still behave that way. But yeah, the Bible never made sense to me either. I see it as, if a person believes and trusts in the bible, then he/she must condone all the atrocities committed therein. I take a Gnostic approach to it, that the biblical god is really the devil. Some may think thats silly, but makes sense to me. I believe in the one true God, one that Jesus claimed he came from. God of true acceptance n love. Where all life came. A God of non judgment/condemnation. That we're all family, Jesus's true message of oneness. Thats why old/new testaments were so different. He never wanted anyone to worship him, but to be treated as a brother. Acceptance and love for ALL. I also dont believe in hell, another invention of the church. Just thought I'd share all that to get your insight. Good luck with your channel.

There is no logic in belief of a supernatural that humans had to tell you all about. What logical is realizing we've been locally programmed and try to get out. You're in the pen. The gate is open. Their fundamental teaching on who Jesus is are completely different.
