It's true: Greenland and Iceland should really switch names, because they are polar opposites!!!
Greenland is covered in ice and Iceland is covered in greenery. The people, culture, cuisine and lifestyle between the two places could not be any different -- pretty much everything is opposite except for the nature.
As I reminisce on this final day of our AMAZING Hurtigruten expedition, I want to take a moment to compare and contrast Greenland and Iceland. We spent the first week was in Greenland, and the past 3 days sailing the Western coast of Iceland to the towns of Stykkishólmur and now Reykjavík.

Oh, I miss Iceland very much!!!! The food, people, and nature are AMAZING!!!! Anyway, I remember returning home to the States. My plane flew over Greenland as I watched the snow-capped mountains go by. It made wonder if White Walkers were lurking within those mountains as everything looked solid frozen. Sent shiver down my spine!!! Even so, I'll be making a visit to Greenland one day!!!!

Hey Drew. I was curious whether you'd been to Faroe Islands or not. So I searched for it and wrote your name and Faroe Islands, but got this video. Have you been to Faroe Islands? It's not so far away from Iceland or Greenland, and they are "almost" neighbors. Technically it belongs to Denmark, but they are quite independent in plenty of different areas and make their own decisions. I'd say more than Greenland.

It is not 8 times larger than Texas. You’ve got your facts wrong drew, Texas is about 270,000 square miles. Greenland is about 836,000. It’s not even 3 times.
It’s 2 million square MILES. But it’s 836000 square kilometers

I've done a road trip around Iceland but Greenland is still on the list,
Definitely in the top 10 still left and definitely not cheap to get to or as easy as Iceland to get around but I will do it eventually.
You should make longer and more number of videos on Central Asian countries because you have not done much work on Central Asia.
U should visit sweden. Cuse u have not been there yet! But come in the spring or winter! And i recommend Malmo bc the others are waayyyy to cold!

The reason Greenland has their name was because when the vikings first came there, they came to the very southern coast of Greenland. Back then the south coast of Greenland was warmer and more green. Also they wanted to populate the place so they gave it an attractive name.
