For real. i don´t know why, but my friend won´t understand, that he just has to check those easy options. So helpful, just switched to Xbox from ps (don't ask, long story) and I have no idea how to work it. I play with a pair of earbuds that I can't mute unless I hold the button right under the bud. People be so mad at you for just having a loud echoing mic and it's kinda funny. Preciate the advice.

If you are still having problems it’s most likely just how loud you have the people in your party chat and how loud the game volume is.

I have a problem. I just got an elite turtle beach set (no box but like new, missing the superamp) so tried them out on a quick voice message to a friend and was horrified, it sounded like I was on a plane. So I switched back to my old faithful cheap TB's, sent another message but that to now sounds trash. We referred to older voice memos and they sound crystal clear. I haven't changed any setting since last night. Battery pack in the pad is full, all cables seem fine...yet it sounds like I'm 10 feet away from the mic

Start a private party // Go to Options in the party chat // Go to Audio // Headset Volume 2 clicks from max // Headset Mixer 1 click left from center // Mic Monitoring off/0/All the way left. Now for In game options for COD MW2 WZ 2.0. In the Microphone Settings. Open Mic Sensitivity 77 // Microphone level 50. You now should be silent and only be heard when you speak.
