This has been an EPIC tutorial that taught me a lot. Thank you so much Nobu Design! I hope you continue publishing new tutorials, you're one of the best out there!
Thank you looked through 5 vids google kept telling me to watch that had nothing to do with radial lines found yours layed out all nice, exactly what i needed
I found an alternative workaround without using the outline mood. At 8:03, just make and compount path out of the background. Then substract (in pathfinder). Same result
You are full of knowledge, thanks for sharing it. And also for choosing very cool, relaxing music. Some videos I really have to mute because of the music.
Yes. You can simply use erase tool to get second version result. In second version I just wanna show that you can also transform the separate lines using transform each.
It would be better to do the lines as-is, but with an outer stroke around the live text by creating a stroke and placing it underneath the characters layer in the appearance panel. This way you could move/replace the text in a way that is non-destructive to the lines below, and then just flatten transparency and remove the white as you finalize the design.
hey buddy just a question because there is a part in the video that I cannot figure out (timestamp- 8:11 ) how do you use the text to subtract the sunrays path? Other than that doubt love the timelapse
Sorry for late reply, after you do Outline (pathfinder > outline) there will be black lines left in the text, so I use "select similar object" to select those lines and delete them
Sir I face one problem... Which is untill I select two objects... My align tool not working... But I can see u aligning a single line.... Please solve my issue
set align to : Artboard. like this graphicdesign.stackexchange.com/questions/38824/how-to-align-all-objects-in-the-center-of-the-artboard-using-illustrator
So good. I’ve been using Illustrator for 15 years now and 50 million ways to skin a cat in this program. Thanks for sharing some new tool/techniques.
1:44 OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH~!!! :O This change the way I randomize strokes. Thank you so much.

Ah!!! These transform tools are incredible!! 🙌
You can also drag it into photoshop, with gradiant overlays and glows to make it look like fireworks or stars or something. It's really cool

Thanks for the dope video, I think I liked Keep Calm better than anything. Thanks for putting this video together! 😎
Thank you 😁
good
Random did not work for me even if I ungrouped it. Any way to fix that? :/
I got stuck on this too! You need to make sure you 'transform each', which is only an option when right-clicking on the selection
Same for me! Did you find a solution? I followed every step on the video, ungrouped, transform each and nothing...
two thumbs up! thank you very much
Thanks. But can be used Eraser Tool, to make arbitrarily spaces on lines, in the first version.

Try to perform it with a video 😉 here and share with us
Thankkkk :)
I'm looking to do this exact affect but am using Adobe Photoshop CC 2014, any advice or videos anyone could share? Thanks!

Thank you @@nobudesign, no worries on the late reply I do realize that you have other commitments & your life to enjoy
Is perfect!
Tks so much! good TUT..Cheers\m/
Hi, how did you make the lines above and below the "Nobu Design"? Thank you!
make a normal text, add two straight lines above and below then give warp effect (rise)
@@nobudesign I've tried that but the lines did not warp. :(
Try expand the lines first, group the lines with the text then apply warp effect
@@nobudesign ok I'll try that. Thanks!
Thank you! :)

Thankyou so much...
Very helpful tip
All of the lines group together but says they aren't grouped? Any ideas?
Why my offset path disappear when i unite the text? help me pls (i use cs6 version)
Mine doesn't randomize the size of the lines. What am I doing wrong?
Make sure ungroup the lines first before you transform each
why the random tool produce the same results in AI?
What is name font in your design (stay humble) ?
Font name : Roboto
@@nobudesign thanks
Making the uneven lines doesn't work in 2023 now :( anyone know how i can mimic this in the current version?
random did not work for me, anyone else?
Ungroup first
Sir i have one problem, after i clicked outline..everything disappear...help me
yes, because everything will be no stroke and fill, just CTRL/CMD + Y (outline mode) you will see the path of your lines. check 03:58
@@nobudesign my problem is at 03:56..that lines didn't appear
@@kencanaforever4743 make sure the lines is behind the text and make sure the text is compound path before you hit outline on pathfinder
@@nobudesign you saved me bro! thanks a lot
boring but thank you
thanks
thanks
