A few years ago, I replaced the blower motor resistor due to fan speeds not working on low settings. At that time, I also changed out the blower motor. My battery died the other day and I had to jump it. As a result, the blower fan blows max air on all settings, even the “off” setting. Should I change the resistor out? I can tell the that even when I press the “a/c”, there is no actual conditioned air. It’s only slightly cooler. Any idea? Thanks!
So my Honda Civics a/c sometimes work sometimes it doesn’t until I smack the blower motor. And the fan is on high. Should I change resistor or both motor.
I replaced the blower motor on 2012 Honda CR-V. The old blower motor was working just making a small squeaking sound. The new blower motor runs cold but at times I can smell and feel moisture a dampness from it. My old Xterra use to do this. Is the new blower motor bad? I ordered it from Four Seasons website. Do you know why it’s doing this?
Try the resistor usully it would only run sun speed and high but try it out on high that should be by passing it if it work low and high then it could be resistor
To keep it real with u. I would change both if blower motor is gone. But resister u can do alone. Anways. Dose it work on any speed slow medium or high? Try that let me know also Bank on the blower motor with setting on high car on

I think start with resistor
@@RBTheMechanic I’ll do it and report back, thanks!

Yeah if ur dosent work on low speeds change the resistor how ever u also have issue with motor since ur hitting it to make it come on
yip thats what im doing too, have a small rubber hammer in cup console, i'll change resistor and blower motor 12 civic.
When taking the resistor out of the honda do u need to disconnect the battery?
No need to disconnect the battery just key out of igntion every thing set to off
@@RBTheMechanic ok cool thank you

Do you know if it's the same location for a 12 crv?
About same!!!
the problem I'm having is the blower motor runs but it seems to only be running in low speeds would that be the resistor or the motor
