Your camera work is exceptional. I think it’s some of the best on TH-cam. You do a great job of showing the watch under different lighting conditions and at different angles. I think if you started reviewing some more popular mainstream pieces you’ll build a strong following quickly. Keep up the great work.

My wife just bought me the new Dartmouth for Xmas the watch is gorgeous but it had a problem when winding it, so I contacted them and they told me to send the watch back to them for repair which I have , I own two other cw watches and there both fine no issues, the only problem I have with this brand is the time scale for repair, I live in the uk so you would think it wouldn’t be to long to do this but they have sent me a email saying it could take 8 to 12 weeks ! Now this watch should not of passed quality control because it was obvious there was a problem, because my wife had this watch inscribed and it was a gift it has sentimental value to me otherwise I would have asked for a refund , there still a great brand don’t get me wrong but they really should be faster with repairs and quality control

I bought and sold the watch. It checked all my boxes. Beautiful, great lume and swiss made. My issue ended up being with the movement. The watch would shake when wound. I contacted Chris. Ward and returned the watch for review. They sent it back and said it was within their normalcy. Others were having the same problem. I was on Facebook Christopher Ward Enthusiasts and observed some videos of others having the same problem. Some suggested returning the watch. I did and they did nothing other than say it was fine. Also, I loved the 5 year warrant. Note on that. You have to have it serviced by them within 2-3 years or the warranty is basically voided. Any repairs will be out of pocket if not serviced. I was saddened to sale it. I wanted to love the watch.

als 1 that's odd. Doesn't it use a standard Sellita movement?
Or do you mean the watch shakes when rotor winds? Because that is perfectly normal. It's actually a nice reminder that you have a mechanical time piece on your wrist. One of the things that I miss about my previous watches compared to my Rolex which has a dead silent rotor.

3-4 years is the service interval. However you are correct the 5th year won't be covered without a service.

I’ve owned so many c ward c60s over the years however there is always certain things that mean they never stay in my collection. I think they get so much right . Present iteration is great however wears very bulky and chunky I think the way the end links flare out is a major contributor factor . The 40 mm wears a bit puck like and the connection between bracelet and head looks quite clumsy. I think that when you try and squeeze 600 mm wr into a 40mm case this is inevitable. I know the 600m wr is probably a selling point but it is an unnecessary gimmick . If this were changed to 300m you could really refine the case and have easily the best diver at a grand ..

I was surprised that I preferred the new c60 in 40mm to the oris divers- had low expectations but I'd honestly put it up there with the tudor BB in terms of finishing. Mine is more accurate than my omegas and GS springdrive and has the solid feel of my marinemaster sbdx017 but with a limed ceramic bezel. I like the quick release strap and adjustable clasp too, it just ticked every box and with their 0% interest offer I cohldnt think of a reason not to buy it. If you get the chance, give it a try (they offer free returns which is onky reason why I tried it)

I think they produce quite possibly the best option at the price . Personally I still don’t think the proportions are quite right on either this or the 43mm . This is driven by the gimmick of 600 m water resistant.By default this makes its chunky . 300m would allow thinning down the case and I would work on the strange flare of the end link which looks quite cumbersome, makes the 40 mm look puck like and the 42mm wear very large . I really want to love these pieces and I’ve owned quite a few , so close to competing with my high end pieces but the proportions let it down . Nonetheless if you can live with the niggles then it’s a great watch

Nice review. A beautiful versatile watch for a decent price. I'm considering picking one up despite my dislike for the logo and where they put it. Also the world record for the deepest dive in scuba gear is 332 meters. It took the diver 12 minutes to go down and 15 hours to come back up. So the 600 meter water resistance unnecessarily increases the watch's thickness. A 300 meter water resistance rating is already overkill and would slim down the watch.

  • @RollsRoyceSilverSpur

CW as a brand in general punches well above its height weight freight lol . Well, I like what they do . My only complaint as far as the bracelet concerned is lack of screws to adjust the bracelet . From what I see they use push in inserts to secure the bracelet links but using screws definitely compliments the built quality of the watches of any kind
Thank for this extensive video as well
