    Hi Barry, this is just the thing for a pilot. It's an excellent competitor to the Sinn 857 UTC, and the price is similar too. Laco have done a really good job with this. Thanks Barry, LG Bob 🍻

      I think the very same thing with this one plus it has a very strong Sinn vibe to it Bob

    Tried this on at the Düsseldorf watch show last year. Very nice piece, but due to budget and wife constraints…

      @@ClickSpringReview in fairness, She Who Must Be Obeyed “only” has about 8 or 10 bags, and I have around 70 assorted watches, from several childhood pieces that no longer work to some pricier items via a load of G Shocks and other Casios, so her argument carries a bit of weight. Especially as this lovely lovely Laco is 2.5 grand.

    • @ClickSpringReview
      @ClickSpringReview  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      If you want me to repair them for you I probably could Phil, 70 is a very impressive amount it has to be said so I see your predicament

    Beautiful!! You know how I feel about the Sinn 857, and this ticks all the same boxes.

      Yeah it definitely has a Sinn 857 vibe to it doesn't it

    These look amazing. I actually think the more monochrome time only is the one I’d go for m. Ever since your review of the blue Laco diver I’ve looked at this brand closely. Brilliant watches. Great review as always

      I may also review that one later but I was thinking of review there blue dial pilot as its pretty affordable at under 400 but looks amazing, PS cheers

    I do like the bead blasting treatment by Laco. Makes the watch look almost like ceramic. (Just finished the vid that's your words exactly lol)

    I saw these a few weeks ago and they’re very nice IRL. But my EZM9 & 857S trump them with Sinn’s tegimented titanium & SS.
    Plus the Sinn’s definitely have a more positive click on the bezel action. Thanks again Barry for another great review 🍻

      I also have a EZM9. It is also TESTAF certified, tegimented titanium, lumed sapphire bezel. I wear it everyday, and it refuses to show signs of wear!!😂. Best everyday watch!!

      @@ClickSpringReview Yes bizarrely I don't believe it sold very well.(And now sadly discontinued) Probably due to the size 44mm, but as I'm cursed with a 8 inch wrist, and monster hands it's the perfect in size for me. Let me know how we arrange to send it in for review!!

    I wonder if legibility would be improved without the 3/6/9 numerals. When I look away, then snap my eyes back to take a quick read of the time, the large numerals take my eyes away from the hands. The use of negative space (i.e. the Sinn EZM 1) would help your brain separate signal from noise, and dare I say make the watch even more attractive.

    • @ClickSpringReview
      @ClickSpringReview  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You could be right there, if they wanted to highlight the 3/6/9 you could always go with thicker makers

  • @Hectorsdad

    I really like the watch. Maybe a bit busy on the dial, but that’s ok. Management doesn’t approve of it (case looks like plastic), so that’s one I won’t be able to sneak in to the box under the radar 🤔. Couldn’t see how long that strap was though. Cracking review as ever.

    Why so expensive? It’s over double the diver!

    • @ClickSpringReview
      @ClickSpringReview  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The movement is much more expensive being a GMT plus its the Top Grade version rising the costs again then there is AR on both sides of the crystal, The testing is going to cost a pretty penny to have the DIN8330 certification plus then the have the sandblasted finish, magnetic field protection and better strap and not to forget the quality case it comes in I guess

      @ClickSpringReview I think women can sometimes pull the bigger sized look off better than men - I'm thinking aviators as an example.
      Great watch though.
      I'm looking at the Montblanc 1858 GMT at the moment - I have to say it's one of the most attractive and practical GMT styles there is - that red dot/ring thingy..... incredible.
      I'm in town next week, they've got one in the shop.

    All things considered, and I can't speak to the level of DIN testing, I would say the Sinn 857 is a better overall package. Also DIN certified although a different rating, plus you get tegimented steel, a better anti magnetic protection and anti moisture capsule. Also according to Laco this uses the Sw200, not the SW300 which the 857 uses.

    • @ClickSpringReview
      @ClickSpringReview  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      The Sinn has the old TESTAF rating which has now been updated with DIN8330, I'm not saying the 857 couldn't pass that it probably could but it's never been tested. It's true the 857 has the advantage of tegimented steel and AR (only downside of this, is it must go to Sinn for a service) The Laco does have a ceramic bezel and houses the SW330 movement its the non-GMT model which has the SW200-1
