That's why if and when my time comes for me to get a house, I'll make sure it'll be in move in condition. First time I've seen that Lexus, is that a new addition to the car collection?
Yeah it was crazy the amount of work we did! Every wall in the house had holes and marks. They ripped 5 TV wall mounts out of the walls too. So I patched probably 1k holes and then we painted the whole thing. 18 gallons later lol. But it came together well! @@BrosFOURRSpeed yes, i've also done multiple homes with this "out of the box" epoxy, issue is if you park your car in the garage the hot tires or the salt will wear it off very fast, and I've done all the recommended prep - currently I've done actual commercial epoxy which is holding much much better than this product.

Floors were more important because it takes 4-5 days for it to cure, so that was more time sensitive and needed to be done first so I could park inside and then do walls. Also it's easier to clean wall paint off the epoxied floor than bare concrete. And the concrete was absolutely disgusting and smelled awful from the gross previous owner. I couldn't stand the smell of smoke, dirt, fertilizer and other garbage that covered the floor.
You could of done the walls first and used a paint spray gun little easier
I needed to do the floors first so that when I moved in they were cured and ready for things to be placed on it. Spray gun would be cool , I used an air powered roller for the inside. But I wasnt going to buy a spray gun to do the walls
So You clean ur garage .🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Did a bit more then clean it...
@@BrosFOURRSpeed looks great 👍🏻
When new Z will park there?
@@justadad44 Hopefully by Summer the Z will be here! I think May everything gets unveiled and June orders start
How far are you from your bro?
We're about 30 minutes apart now. Not too bad
Why would you paint the walls after the floor? Painting walls first, you wouldn’t have to worry about paint getting on the floor.
But with the epoxy floor, that wouldn’t matter, it’ll clean right up and actually clean up better than the bare floor.
Also I was just moving in, so doing to floor first meant I had time to let it cure and then move items in and only do that once. Didn’t make sense to move in and then have no where to put garage items while I did the floor! There’s a method to the process! And the floor was absolutely disgusting. I was not going to walk on it. Previous owners were gross and the concrete and dirt and other crap all over it. Much nicer to work on a clean floor. Paint literally wipes off this new floor
ur dirty garage looks better than most peoples garage lol
Lol, it wasn’t very nice at all!!!
Looks like a dope house with all the completed work done but sorry you had to go through that much because the last owners were so nasty and trifling.
This is a crazy market so we took the bit of damage to get a nice lout and good size house. Lexus is Laurens car. I filmed like 1 or two vids on it in the past. Heres one you might like. th-cam.com/video/Ds6RnM4vPy0/w-d-xo.html
Yeah this market is quite crazy to say the least. I lived in a house with constant problems for 19 years so I know where you're coming from. Oh my bad! So many cars on this channel I forgot all about the videos on that car haha 😄
Yeah we'll probably be in this maybe 5-8 years until we build something. So it's a good start! Lexus will be getting sold once the Z finally arrives lol
Oh wow! I bet both of you will be playing a lot of switcheroo between the future Z and the GTR lol.
@@kbw.rvwhntr Unfortunately I need to teach her to drive stick. So until she’s comfortable with that alone, the GTR will be her go to car. But we have a Lexus replacement in mind not too long after 😅😅
shouldnt you have done the ceiling and walls before you did the floor??
The floor was so nasty, I didn't want to walk on it longer than I had too. It was caked with filth. Plus I needed to be able to park my cars in there so got the floor done first so I could put stuff in there. Plus the paint that did drip on to the fresh floor wiped off so easy. Would have had to scrape it off the bare concrete rather then just use a damp cloth to wipe it clean. Floor stunk too since the previous owner smoked in the garage. No way was I smelling that garbage for hours on end painting the walls.
Still waiting to see the trashed garage?
The clips I showed in the beginning. And me explaining how trashed it was before we bought the house
why dont u drive manuals again?
Because nobody has made a manual car the last few years I wanted to buy lol. My brother has a manual Audi R8. And I have the new Nissan Z on order which will be a manual. So another one is coming soon!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed what do you think about the new Type R vs the New 400z? Which is better?
I'm biased since I'm buying the new Z lol. Type R is a great car tho, probably the best FWD car out there. But I'm very excited for the new Z! Going to be so fun!
Fastest way to Turning A Trashed Garage into My First Dream Garage. Park a GTR in it lol.
haha that improved it quite a lot! Much better then the gross couch the previous owners had in here
massage time
Oh yeah! We were up at 6 every morning and went to bed around midnight for 2 weeks straight. I didn't film anything aside from clips for this video during the first two weeks here lol
Color code?
Floor is jus the grey out of the box. Walls are Repose Grey from Lowes
@@BrosFOURRSpeed thank you buddy by the way nice looking GTR 🫡
@@chilangodf46 thanks! Was a fun car!
As a car guy... those are what you have for tools?
lol I just went from renting to owing a home. Now I have a very nice selection of tools. But I started with the basic hand tools when I was younger. Sorry my tool collection didn't start out with the most expensive tools. Even with the basics I always was able to maintain my cars and modify them pretty extensively.
Its "swept", not "sweeped"
lol true
you cut no corners with that sound system bro!
What’s that mean?
If I took a shot for every time you said "actual" or "actually" in this video, I'd be dead before the 13 minutes was up.
How many times?

Thanks for checking out the video!
this wont last more than a year
Is that what you experienced with your floor? My dads going on 12 years with his floor and has done multiple houses with it. Not sure where you get that idea from.
@@rickats I don’t live where there’s salt, so that could be the problem you are having. Like I said, my dads current floor is 12 years old and looks just as good as the day it went on. I’d recommend this product. One year on my floor it still looks brand new. Maybe you didn’t prep it correctly. Hot tires shouldn’t peal a good epoxy coating. All in the prep work
Kaka, delete.
What?
What paint did you use?
