I'm ready for a verdict and not see her on my screen anymore, to be honest.
I think his point is very fair. Without having the words yes and no you are subconsciously directing their vote towards yes
I think this judge should not make special changes for Read it's been like this for years.
This shows how desperate they are getting to ensure they send this innocent woman to prison to cover up the murder they committed.

There is no word to describe how guilty this judge is being biased and one-sided. I’m flabbergasted.
Judges always want to side with law enforcement especially if the victim themselves didn't commit a crime. They rely on the police for them being elected as judges. There was the cash for kids scandal in luzerne county years ago and the one cop choke slammed his own son for testifying against judge Conahan.

She has someone, and I'm not sure if that's other judges or someone that she's taking counsel with.... I think they agreed with Jackson that this would be grounds for appeal.... I think that is why she changed it..... Had this case not gotten the public spotlight that it has been getting I don't think she would have change it

Wow! This Judge has a very real problem!
I have watched the Judge and anytime the defense objects she immediately overrules them. When the Prosecutor objects she sustains them.
It seems like she has really tied the defense hands by not allowing the attorney or their witness to testify. They basically are only allowed half of what they would have said.
Definitely seems fishy.
Perhaps the prosecution understands the law so only objects when appropriate while the defense is not so well trained.

She is simply stating that this verdict form has used for EVERY other case. Why change it for THIS case.
I will say, however, that Jackson does seem to have a point.

I feel sorry for the good people that live in MA.
Regarding the timeline: the Albert home was unsecured and unguarded as a crime scene over the weeks evidence was found by CERT. ALSO, BETWEEN4:16 PICKUP OF HER SUV AND ARRIVAL MANY MILES AWAY AT CANTON PD, TROOPER PROCTOR COULD HAVE DONE ANYTHING HE WANTED TO THE TAILLIGHT, WHICH IS POSSIBLY WHY THE VIDEO OF ITS CONDITION AND THE VIDEO OF ITS ARRIVAL HAVE GONE MISSING AND WHY THE TAPE WAS INVERTED. The tow driver could have stopped along the way, even just a block away from Karen's parents' house and done whatever he wanted, palmed it off to someone who went to 43 Fairview and tried to stage a debris field. Trooper Paul was incoherent on what the location of the pieces could mean.
IMO Judges Bev is biased towards the prosecution and she wants the jury to return with all guilty verdicts. Bev has a poor attitude, she's dismissive, rude, corrupt, and she should be removed from the bench.

I'm not sure that I have ever seen a judge this blatantly disrespectful of the rules. She seems to be making them up as she goes along.
She cuts off Mr Jackson to admonish ms read for laughing even though she herself laughed just a few seconds before. She then threw a fit and left her own courtroom without hearing Mr Jackson further

Who designed that form? Why not just have "NOT GUILTY" options to go with "GUILTY", that way both options are treated equally by the form & nobody could argue that the form is leading jurors to either finding.

Verdict slip needs to be completely straightforward and crystal clear. The answer choices should be consistent throughout. It doesn't matter if that's what is or what has been used.

And if my life was on the line for it I am sure I would have some very strong emotions that would be hard to hide. Especially since being a 3rd party watching this case I feel this judge has been biased since the beginning. I came into this case not knowing anything about it. Never even saw a headline.
And the way the judge said, you find this funny Mrs. Read. She has no clue what Mrs. Read is smiling about and to say that is pretty rude.
She knew Karen was (rightfully) laughing at her poor excuse (that's the way it's always been). You could either laugh or throw a chair at her I guess. Fortunately the old dragon finally came to her senses.

It's not just one little thing here or there, it's the unsurmountable amount of "little things" the judge does to tip the scales that's already tipped against KR on top of that by the prosecutor, state witnesses, AND the corrupt police department. I'd be laughing too after hearing the judge stack the deck against her YET AGAIN!
Problem is Karen has shown inappropriate behavior through the whole trial. This isn't a laughing matter when u are being charged with murder but obviously Karen finds the court proceedings amusing??😮😮

Certainly a protracted decision but as others have pointed out they are most likely just carefully going over everything.
9 hours is nothing, especially given the length of the trial and the seriousness of the charges. just need to be patient. they have to do their due diligence regardless if they all agreed at the onset

It sounds like things need to change in Massachusetts! It stands to reason that both 'Guilty and 'Not guilty' boxes should be on the verdict form. Its weird the way the lawyer says it is. If I was a Not Guilty defendant I would want the jury of my peers to actually say those words on a form. I wouldnt want just an unticked 'Guilty' box.
We're waiting for only 12 people to decide yet according to the poll earlier, it was a resounding not guilty. Im sure more than 12 online 'voters' decided that.

I've never heard of anything so ridiculous. No option of Not Guilty for all charges? How is that legal? If there isn't a not guilty option, the only option is guilty of one of the charges. That's madness.

Not guilty was simply if the jury chose neither of the options. Don’t overthink it.
@gerttopmuller that's not how it appeared on the jury slip. It looked like the Not Guilty option related only to the Murder charge. The other guilty charges were indented underneath the Murder charge and if I were on the jury seeing that, that's what I would think. Remember, the jury don't see and don't hear what we do, only what's put in front of them.
What I don't understand is why that judge is on this case isn't she the aunt of the Albert's or something like that or she's the aunt of someone in this case a cop the DA one of them.. PRAYING FREE KAREN READ JUSTICE FOR

It WOULD make sense this was Day 32, BUT that stream starts with “I’ll issue a new jury form”, it DOES NOT include this conversation.
