- In this video I will show you the Sekiro cabinet I made for a client in Austria.
The design and building took me several months and I really love the end-result.
New features are the special gun drawer, the Data East coin door and the Arcooda Monitor.
The cabinet has the highest quality parts (all Ultimarc) and the artwork is done by Sahaj Joshi

I'm Sahaj Joshi and I design artworks for Daniel's cabinets. I designed this Sekiro artwork at 7:21
Beautiful, love seeing all the new/different designs people have in their heads and you bringing them to life
Yes, that is the most exciting part ❤
As always, I run to see your new videos. Quality and much thought behind this build. I have to say this build is very cool and very slick. You can tell the hard work and passion you have for your builds. Can't wait for the next video
Thanks Alex!!
Stunning cabinet and great video, well done
Good job Daniel, as usual your works are awesome. The details level cure and all the functions, really you are a "cabinet master". Many compliments.
🙏🏼
Love seeing your builds! So inspiring!
Thanks!
I've been following your channel for a couple of years now and I must say your cabinets always look amazing but one of the things I love the most is your cable management the cable management inside of your arcade cabinets look amazing great job
Thanks 🙏🏼
Awesome cabinet. This is insane!!! And Gun4IR are the best guns to pick
Just wow. Amazing as always but some nice next level stuff on this one.
Absolutely amazing cabinet! It's great to see all the different things you can do and add to builds, and hopefully give others ideas of what's possible. Ever think of making a dedicated pinball cabinet?
Yes 😂 over 2 years now. Short on time 😂😂
Kudos Daniel!!🎉 An incredible build as always!! Especially loved the light gun slider!❤
Thanks for making another great art-design Sahaj !! Always a pleasure working with you 🙏🏼
Wow, fantastic machine! One of the best use of my 2 software, EDS and HyperMarquee. Very glad that they are part of this masterpiece! Antos
You are the programmer for EDS and HyperMarquee? Nice to meet you! Get in touch with me by email: thedanielspies at gmail.com
Absolutely gorgeous!
Thanks 🙏🏼
Nice and clean build I love it nice job men
Love the gun cabinet add-on, and artwork is awesome. Amazing build, Daniel.
Thanks 🙏🏼
There are some cabinet in the late 90's to early 2000's that people seem to not reproduce often and it those cabinet with a seperated monitors and joystick tables, they really looked modern and I always setup my room like that.
Nice Cabinet with an even better person.
Fantastic cab, subbed!
Niiice video. Great work here.
kanji at 9.25 is for "way" half of the judo kanji for gentle way (its where i recognised it from) i forgot to add, this is a work of art!!!! absolutely beautiful
Im glad i found this channel. New subscriber here.
Nice!!
Awesome job as usual Daniel!
It looks like you're standing fairly close to the cabinet when using the gun-I've heard you should be 1.5-2x the size of your monitor for gun4IR to work, so in your case 48-64 inches.
It appears to work great even closer up than that, is this the case? I'm thinking of adding the guns to my cabinet but hesitant due to that limitation, but if it isn't a problem I'm going for it!
Not a problem, go for it!
Love so many things about the design, but that angle on the screen is really bad for gun games! Everything becomes distorted when you step further away from the machine to shoot. Having a more 'upright' screen was one of my 'essential' things to do when designing a arcade cabinet intended for use with Gun games too! May not seem obvious for people immediately, but when you compare 'straight on', or near upright Vs this amount of angle, it really makes a huge difference. Probably super technical and difficult, but how about when you pull the Gun drawer open that is attached to a system that adjusts the screen angle too, and puts it back to 'normal' when closed again? Maybe the stuff of dreams there!! Awesome cabs though! 🙂
Thanks for the info, lets do some testing indeed! The guns work great but ‘greater
‘ is always nice indeed 😄
@TheDanielSpies_Arcades Hi Daniel, very nice job mate🎉 do you have a video on how to initiate in this journey? I would like to learn how everything works
do you have any videos detailing how you setup the dynamic LCD marquee? hardware software etc?
Not yet, will try making more videos 👍🏼
Daniel, great video as always. My question to you is software. Did you hand build your OS or do you use something prebuilt?
I always suggest to go for the Hyperspin setup that Chris Shaw sells on his website: Hyper Arcade Systems
Thanks for the shoutout! I finally got into a Daniel spies video! So proud!
Your work on the guns is amazing. Highly recommend them! - and this is NOT a sponsored message - 🙌
Whoa!! Very nice 👌 How much is that?
Interesting monitor, do you know if the 15khz/31khz modes can be used with the HDMI port or do you need to use the VGA port?
Hmm good question. Will check that out 👍🏼
Awesome cabinet. How much?
Do you have a pedestal console instead of the entire cabinet. That way I can move the pedestal to any tv in my house. If you have or plan on making this model as a pedestal game console i will differently be wanting one.
Wow i want one going to see how much now
This an amazing cabinet, quick question how much is the range price for this cabinet?
Hi, pricing depends on several factors, you can always email me to discuss your ideas 😊 thedanielspies at gmail.com
Awesome Arcade. One question, do you need 4 coin acceptors for 4 player games ?
No, the coin acceptors are extra and are just fun to add. Players 3 and 4 have their own coin buttons on the controlpanel 👍🏼
Amazing! What speakers/subwoofer did you use?
Visaton PX10 I remember and a Logitech (no specific model) sub 🔊
weer lekker bezig
Dank dank
Thanks!
Was wondering with all your USB inputs how do you keep your front end from reassigning your controls every time you restart the arcade?
Thanks for the Superlike, much appreciated 🙏🏼. Ok the main inputs (Ipac Ultimate boards for players 1 till 4) have fixed ID’s and will always be the correct players. Same goes for the guns. If however you connect lets say an Xbox controller next to these ‘fixed’ peripherals, that could sometimes cause an issue. 😅
Besides the app you use to set the joysticks in 4 way or 8 way mode, what other apps do you typically run on the Stream Deck? Also, where did you get the game related Stream Deck icons?
For one: you can launch games via the StreamDeck. I use (or make) animated GIF's. You can find examples of this in several of my previous builds on TH-cam. I also have the game launch script available for free if you like.
I also use it to run apps like LED Blinky for Animations, Rocket Launcher UI, Hyper HQ etc.
Kind regards, Daniel
Playing 4x3 aspect ratio games in 16x9 hurts my soul. That monitor looks ace, though. Never heard of it before.
Yes I forgot to enable the bezels. These will make the game play in 4:3 :-) Kind regards, Daniel
Hey I once asked you before. It seems you make the cabinets for clients now? Like someone below asked. Verkoopt u ook? Same question, I actually want to buy one since building one is not for me. So do you sell/make it for customers/clients?
Yes, sometimes and mostly special / high end requests. Feel free to email me!
I don't see your email...is it daniel@TheDanielSpies_Arcades ?@@TheDanielSpies_Arcades
A very beautiful and functional machine. The only thing that confuses me is the choice of monitor. Full HD resolutions are not enough for such a screen size when playing modern games. There is no support for freesync, in many mame games that work at a frequency of 54-55 hertz (for example, mortal kombat) there will be gaps in the image. Or am I wrong and freesync is in this monitor?
Yes, For the competitive gamer, you would prefer different hardware. Preferably original. Freesync works with AMD graphic cards, Nvidia has his own version. But to notice /or enjoy the difference, I would rather suggest playing MK on a FPGA with CRT or PVM monitor. As USB also adds latency and 1.3ms is still more then the zero latency on a crt. Overall, the reviews I read about the Arcooda’s are very good. Regards from the Netherlands, Daniël
Freesync works great with both AMD and Nvidia. I agree with you that it is better to play on a crt monitor, but when there is no such possibility, freesync greatly improves the gameplay. Regards from the Russia, Vitaly
Have you ever worked with MDO board? Just curious
Yes! My next builds will use this. We call it ' betonplex' or concrete plywood.
And how do you ship, the whole built box or in pieces to be put together?
One v e r y big wooden crate :-) But you can detach the controlpanel if necessary
How much if i wanted a custom or one you have already plug and play?
That depends on several factors, contact me at thedanielspies at gmail.com for options, thanks 🙏🏼
Why is the marquee at angle and not flat facing player??
That is my signature design. I prefer this over the ‘traditional’ shape.
Another work of art!!!! You did it again! The gun4ir drawer is sick! Way to go!!!!
I thought of some ideas for future video's for you: Gun4IR configuration with Hyperspin, The 4-to-8 way joystick configurations, or Laser Engraving the control panel plexiglass. I would enjoy seeing your process on those.
Thanks for the tips! I might just do that!
what is the cost in USD for something like this?
I love playing Metal Slug in the wrong aspect ratio-- super fun!
Correct, will turn the bezels on and it will be in 4:3 again. Thanks 🙏🏼
@@TheDanielSpies_Arcadesheck yea! 4:3 for retro games is the only way. Besides, with how large this screen is, the bezel project would look amazing on it 😀
Roughly how much do I need to order one from you?
You can't order it (I never make any machine twice) but I can make a unique model for you of course. Pricing depends on several factors. You can get in touch by email for that, kind regards, Daniel
OMFG Once again, AMAZING CABINET, it's clear that you have a knack for it, you radiate an aura of passion for creating them💪💪💪💪
Thank you for the tip about this Arcooda 32 boe monitor, it's a pity there are no bigger ones than 32 but I still have to have it :P
3:02 This pull-out shelf looks great, I'm thinking about installing two of them because I have more equipment :D
Could you tell me what exactly the guides for this shelf, so-called model, are?
13:01 Could you tell me what model these USB hubs are?
14:50 WTF could you tell me what version of Mame you are using, that metal slug doesn't slow down, as we know most metal slugs and other games slow down which is irritating 🤬
15:59 You forgot to add that F2 is better to make such settings at the beginning because unfortunately after entering the service mode Hi-Score resets, I don't know what causes it but it's sad 😭
Thank you very much 🤩
Send me an email please, I will help with your questions 👍🏼
There is a hacked version of MS2 called MS2 Turbo that fixes a lot of the lag the original had. Also, some emulators have an option to 'speed up' the emulated game clock to reduce slowdown, but it may introduce some weird behavior.
@@TheDanielSpies_Arcades Ok i send message ;)
🤘❤️🤘
How much for this please?
Not for sale, sorry!
Im sure the custom build cost thousands so surprised there was not a 4090 or something in there, with all SSD Storage - Would breeze through PS3/Switch etc then as well as modern PC games, Have a cheeky HDMI outlet on the back for playing on a big screen TV then as well.
Some clients choose a RtX3090 or 4090 indeed. But for most (99%) of the classic games, an this 3060 is already overkill. I always try to go ‘over the top’ but without throwing money away.
Seems like a massive waste of money to play some street fighter or time crisis
@@neighborhood_k the point of an overkill cabinet is to have the option to play anything. If I have a cabinet that can play streetfighter 2 and the newest triple A game, I’m going to play both.
How much for a replica of this exact machine?
Hi Shane, you can contact me at thedanielspies at gmail.com to discuss ideas 👍🏼
@@TheDanielSpies_Arcades hi Daniel
Unfortunately I don’t know how to message you?
@@TheDanielSpies_Arcades don’t worry I figured it out😂
Si tu no lo vendes, entonces en donde puedo comprar uno así, porque aquí en mi país no hay nada parecido, puras maquinas horribles y simples, nada tan bello y completo como ese.
¡Muchas gracias!
Ofrezco construcciones bajo pedido y puedo realizar envíos a España. Puedes enviarme un correo electrónico para discutir esto. Puedes enviarme un correo electrónico a thedanielspies en gmail.com. Saludos cordiales, Daniel.
this guy must be making a lot of money those are all festools in the background
Change making to SPEND 😂 #festool
Verkoopt u ook?
Zo nu en dan bouw ik een kast in opdracht, je kunt me altijd mailen hiervoor 👍🏼
@@TheDanielSpies_Arcades tnx voor de reactie 👍
Subwoofer being completely enclosed is a bad idea.
Correct, that is why it is not enclosed 😂 there is a big air vent in the back. The sound and bass is amazing. Did many many tests before I made this.
@@TheDanielSpies_Arcadesnah it’s a bad design from a sound standpoint. The port needs to fire in to the room.
You are Welcome to build one too
@@dutchcinephile1362I have. Sounds great!
@@stevebevel2693 I'm sure your front-ported bass sounds terrific, but so will Daniël's rear port bass. Midrange and especially tweeters are very directional, and just like you suggest, should be mounted forward-facing. Bass, however, is not directional. It actually can have enhanced sound when bounced rearward since it can then use the entire wall as a sounding board, not unlike a unipole antenna using the flat earth as a massive virtual dipole. In addition to using the rear vents as a sound port, the resonant frequency of his cabinets, based on the size, will be about 60-100Hz, so he's getting a huge resonant boost at that low frequency free of charge by venting in the cabinet and porting to the rear. It's the same principle as used in many Bose speaker designs. Source: I took Amar Bose's sound design course as a grad student.
