Pretty awesome setup. The one thing we wanted done in our build and did not get. If we only waited a couple years. 😢. Plus the newer and sharper features of the cabinets designs.

I still love that pedestal build I made for you. But yes I keep improving my work. Several years from now the cabinets will be even better 🙏🏼

@@TheDanielSpies_Arcades If we were to have done things over again. We can see how important having a built in monitor would have been great. We really loved the idea of using light guns with our cabinet. However one has to use led sensors on the external monitor since our pedestal has to connect to an external monitor. Not ideal to have all those wires and led sensors on your living room TV. If we had a full size cabinet the sensors would be inside cabinet and one would never see them. As for the gun games. This setup was not available yet. We have used Rays guns and thumb drive separately and it’s super cool to use. We are no longer using his game drive and guns since it’s a pain to use with pedestal because we have to reset up our system now that we moved and we decided we will not use the led and wires on our living room TV since it does not look as nice. So we have to now decide to make a space somewhere else in our home where we can wall mount a TV that is dedicated for use with gun games. In order to do this we will have to get another system with Ray. Only problem here is we just do not want yet another computer since we have so many computers as it is. And where we plan to place a TV is in a loft area where we just don’t want to have to place another PC so we can plug our guns into them. We do have a computer desk in office. But again with 2 curved monitors that makes it difficult to use the gun game and led sensors. And of corse we do not want the led sensors attached to our PC monitors. Back to if we had a full size cabinet with built in monitor. If you really want an arcade gaming cabinet with gun game abilities. You should go for this style setup. Learn from where we lost out. Of course Gun games this well done we’re just not there for us. Correction. They were available from Ray. We actually got them setup right after we got our pedestal cabinet. Ray set ours up for us. It was just not something Daniel was using yet and our system did not have a built in monitor. Hope this helps someone

Do they make white foam for the drawer liner? If someone did a white cabinet. Having a pullout drawer that is white along the sides of the drawer and a white foam insert would look great

Wowww! That Shaper x Router was amazing to see. ❤
Wondering if you could use one of a dog leash to keep those cables a bit more tidy with the lightguns.

Thank you for all these great videos. I want to see the pin locations "light up" when I press each button so I know how to assign it, but I get no sign that the buttons are interacting with anything at all. Does the ultimarc driver interface "light up" the pin locations when the physical buttons are pressed? I'm working with a scratch-built cabinet with all the wires attached with the official supplied ultimarc harness, I've installed the driver, but am getting no response from anything.

are you going to put USB ports and External Power Ports for easy connectability? I have the same gun from Ray over at RPEG and they're awesome. you'll be happy!

Try cutting the foam with a hot wire or better yet a water jet. You’ll get a much cleaner finish.
