One of the signs of how awesome Tony is - he wasn't threatened by Ziva being a better fighter or shooter than him. It probably didn't hurt that one of Tony's techniques was letting himself be underestimated.

Secondly, Ziva should of cleared the weapon at the firing line before handing it make to the solder. Always keep a weapon pointed in a safe direction. Still Ziva is a bad ass shot.

In some countries flagging people is not considered careless but a sign that you are confident in the control of your weapon, like military training in Israel. I doubt that the writers/producers did it on purpose though.

I guess we can assume by "The Sig" they're referring to the Sig P229, the only commonly issued Sig pistol in the U.S. arsenal, know by the military as the M11. Well the M11 is 29oz compared to the Beretta M9's 34oz. They're both chambered in the same 9mm. So the Sig is firing the same bullet in a lighter gun... that means the Sig M11 has more "kick". The heavier a gun is, the less felt recoil, all other things being equal. They could be talking about the Sig 226, which was basically only issued to Navy Special Warfare as the Mk25, but it's the same weight as the M9, so no difference between the two there. 3. "Your sights a FEW millimetres off" A front sight blade is only 2mm to 3mm to begain with. A sight that's 3mm off wouldn't even get you on the paper. A sight off that much would be less than worthless. You'd actually be better off ignoring the sight and just point shooting. Sight adjustments are made by a FRACTION of a millimetre, not a couple or a "few" millimetres. This whole scene is just meaningless word salad.

First off, no combat arms instructor in any brach of service is going to just voluntarily surrender their side arm. Second, clearing the chamber on that sidearm is pointless considering the fact that she didn't drop the mag before clearing it in the first place. Hence, handing over a loaded firearm back to the instructor.
@bcmom5 it's the recoil on the beretta, if they actually had her shoot a real one. The kick back on that gun actually pulls in a more upwards direction so her finish on that shot pulls the gun up higher so it's partially the angle and partially the gun itself
That woman violated safety protocols, she would be banned from any civilian range, government range and would face disciplinary action if she was in the military. I know nothing of the show this clip was pulled from or the characters - what was shown here as a on the ball, in control woman to millions of viewers is actually a out of control dangerous person with zero regard for safety. Most of the millions that watch this show have no idea what they just saw, why it’s not okay and what is wrong with what is portrayed.

Regarding the Beretta having a “”kick”, I guess the Marine is referring to women having smaller hands. The grip on a M9 is huge for a 9mm. The mag holds 15 rounds. But for a reasonably skilled person, that Beretta is as smooth as butter to shoot because it is a big gun which balances out the recoil. I enjoy my 92FS (basically the same gun) and would highly recommend it to a beginning shooter or someone with small hands. A pleasure to shoot.

The fact it was off was the point. A gun has to be use at least once to know if it's off.

I guess we can assume by "The Sig" they're referring to the Sig P229, the only commonly issued Sig pistol in the U.S. arsenal, know by the military as the M11. Well the M11 is 29oz compared to the Beretta M9's 34oz. They're both chambered in the same 9mm. So the Sig is firing the same bullet in a lighter gun... that means the Sig M11 has more "kick". The heavier a gun is, the less felt recoil, all other things being equal.
They could be talking about the Sig 226, which was basically only issued to Navy Special Warfare as the Mk25, but it's the same weight as the M9, so no difference between the two there.

A front sight blade is only 2mm to 3mm to begain with. A sight that's 3mm off wouldn't even get you on the paper. A sight off that much would be less than worthless. You'd actually be better off ignoring the sight and just point shooting. Sight adjustments are made by a FRACTION of a millimetre, not a couple or a "few" millimetres.

I just realized the irony in this scene. She's on target but the funny thing is that her target was the head, whereas the designated target was the center of the chest.

First off, no combat arms instructor in any brach of service is going to just voluntarily surrender their side arm.
Second, clearing the chamber on that sidearm is pointless considering the fact that she didn't drop the mag before clearing it in the first place. Hence, handing over a loaded firearm back to the instructor.
@bcmom5 it's the recoil on the beretta, if they actually had her shoot a real one. The kick back on that gun actually pulls in a more upwards direction so her finish on that shot pulls the gun up higher so it's partially the angle and partially the gun itself

That woman violated safety protocols, she would be banned from any civilian range, government range and would face disciplinary action if she was in the military. I know nothing of the show this clip was pulled from or the characters - what was shown here as a on the ball, in control woman to millions of viewers is actually a out of control dangerous person with zero regard for safety. Most of the millions that watch this show have no idea what they just saw, why it’s not okay and what is wrong with what is portrayed.

@pyroanie It's because she replaced Kate, Someone was going to anyways, I mean Sasha Alexander didn't sign on for any more shows then she already did and they needed someone kick ass to replace her with it just so happens that the person was Cote De Pablo or Ziva, the same thing would've happened if it was Angelina Jolie who replaced Kate, Some people are just Hardcore Kate Fans
Regarding the Beretta having a “”kick”, I guess the Marine is referring to women having smaller hands. The grip on a M9 is huge for a 9mm. The mag holds 15 rounds. But for a reasonably skilled person, that Beretta is as smooth as butter to shoot because it is a big gun which balances out the recoil. I enjoy my 92FS (basically the same gun) and would highly recommend it to a beginning shooter or someone with small hands. A pleasure to shoot.
