- I'm so happy that you enjoyed the Hellmire Cinematic! Here's my second attempt at making a cinematic for HELLDIVERS 2.
I'm still learning new ways in making cinematics for Helldivers, but I do really hope they would add a save replay feature per mission, I think that way, a lot more people would create cinematics.

Wow! thank you guys so much for subscribing and supporting the channel! I didn't expect this much reception for this cinematic. I promise as soon as I'm done with work, I will start working on another cinematic for HELLDIVERS 2!
I just encountered some delays with the project I'm working on and the heat in my country is my number one enemy right now, real life Hellmire, without the fire-tornadoes, well, the air is on fire, so I guess there's that lol. But I'm pretty sure the project will be done before the week is over.

People dont understand how DIFFICULT that is. How crafty and inventive you have to be to take a game that doesnt offer any kind of free cam and try to capture footage like that. Im honestly shocked. How did he get so much free screen without the games UI?

I'm a veteran of the Creek, and I can promise you and everyone else in Super Earth that Vernen Wells will not fall.
So, as a veteran of the Creek, do you prefer the term "Creeker" or "Creek Crawler". I have heard both, I tend to prefer "Creeker" because it evokes both the name of the Creek, and the constant sound of Creaking Automotons there.

God this operation was epic. I can imagine my Helldiver telling the story to new recruits:
"Our forces were still recovering from the "Reclamation" when the news came through. The bots and bugs had attacked us simultaneously. High command ordered the defense but it was no use, our forces were stretched too thin. The bug line was barely holding together. The bot line was collapsing. Our orbital defenses were gone, the Menkent line had fallen. Every single defensive campaign had failed and HQ was on its last legs. The Federation was losing. All surviving Helldivers were to report to Vernen Wells for the final defense. It was one final effort to stop the complete collapse of the western front."

Malevelon Creek might have given people flashbacks of Vietnam, but Vernan Wells gave me major flashbacks of Iraq in 2003. I was there in the oilfields, in the sand, the dust, and the madness. What a ride!

i imagine this is the extra helldiver and his/her sole purpose to get down there with just a camera..... to bring back the evidence of our helldivers in action...

It’s been almost two months and we’re still fighting over Vernen Wells. It’s a ruined battlefield. Each time we push the bots off and press into their planets, and each time we’re repelled all the way back to Vernen Wells. But we’ll hold the line. Vernen Wells will never truly fall.
This is without a doubt god tier edition. and the fact that this is all in game footage speaks volumes of the love and care Arrowhead has put into this game. This should be the game trailer in Steam.

I think you need a transfer to the Ministry of Truth, Helldiver. Super Earth needs more exemplary citizens like you capable of making such inspiring videos of our heroic Helldivers in action!
This one, this one hits home. Even if shooting down dropships does not do a lot of damage to hulks and bigger bots, i still love to do so.I remember one Eva, on top of the hill, the one with the tight choke point as entrance. We were defending that hill, without Super-Destroyer on low orbit, Only us, andour guns. Finishing the box on my MG, i come over to cover, to do a quick reload, and then come back to the edge of our little Liberty hill, as dropship whirls and lands in a few meters in front of me, knocking me out into the rock i was hiding behind. Thanks to the explosive resistantce perk on the armor, i get up, inject a stim, rack the charging handle, and gift all of my last bullets towards marching bots during the last 10 seconds until Pelican arrival. That's what Helldivers 2 is for me. It's not just a PVE horde shooter, It's a fight for your life, every damn second that you're on the ground. Every time i come over to a teammate to help him, it's always 4-5 kills that coming after the fellow diver, and a 1 pesky hunter that gets in melee for a slap and 3 rounds into his belly. Somehow, after 110 levels it still feels special. Every damn time.
the fact that liberating vernen wells saved children irl and you get a picture showing a child holding the hand of a helldiver with the words "THANK YOU HELLDIVERS"

It's clearly visible that most of the footage is zoomed in and cropped, but still, it's very creative given how limited the "cinematic" capabilities of the game (e.g. no way to turn off the UI, AFAIK, etc.) I like it!
I think most of the UI can be hidden in settings, either disabled or set to dynamic.
Would be very hard to play though.
It is zoomed in, in some shots i just needed to hide parts of the character to make it look less like a gameplay cinematic, but it's hard to fully crop them out because it will lose a lot of quality.
And yes, I have set my in-game hud to minimal and I also have a reshade mod that removes all hud elements which makes it 10x more challenging when playing it while making a cinematic hehehe
Not just visually great, but sound as well, very beat for beat. Color grading was amazing and very consistent all throughout, Really great job 👏🔥🔥

The bots attacked Vernon wells so much, it was obvious that they wanted it more than usual, and we needed to prevent that, but my fellow helldivers don’t prioritize things right
This is indeed the most cinematic edit I've seen yet, well done! At the end you had a shot of the nuke launching, my only suggestion would be that you have included a shot of the distant nuke explosion as well. Good work, I hope you do other planets as well.
