  • The Oris Sixty Five is a re-launch of one of the brand’s most popular dive watches, first launched in 1965. This modern version is an excellent tribute to the original.

    Very impressed with mine.
At this price point Oris really is hard to beat.
I sold my Tudor & bought a two month old 65 & pocketed the change.
I don't feel like I'm wearing a lesser watch in terms of appearance & while the fit & finish isn't quite Tudor level for the money these are really hard to find a better alternative.
As for 100m water resistance-i can't swim so I'm happy with it 😂

    Cool watch for sure!
I have 7” wrist and as my all divers (Seiko mainly) are between 42-45mm totally fine. This Oris diver 65 is usually suggested take 40 in this range. Most likely it is because 40 has lug to lug sweet 48mm.
    I am balancing between 40-42.
I wear field watch between 39-41 as they don’t have rotating bezel.

Love the slimness of the case. Another great review, thanks.

Dave, you got it! You see and understand the beauty of this watch. The hands and (applied) indices are unmatched in this price range. The dial is luscious. Then we have the feel of this watch on wrist...perfection!

I’ve got an Oris 65 but 40mm. To be honest I find it a slightly underwhelming and not as well finished than, in my opinion, the Aquis which I also have. To call it a dive watch they also need to improve the water resistance of 100m, even cheap Seiko divers are double this. I do like the domed crystal, it’s very comfortable on a tropic strap, like the no crown guard design and it has decent accuracy from the sellita movement.

You shoulda got the 42. Indices are bigger (greater presence). The hands are bigger. The date window has style (polygon). And the dial text is spot-on

The lume on my Steeldive "65 ORIS" puts the real thing to shame.

Beautiful watch, but the 100m rating kills it for me.
