True,I have been facing this problem since 25 years .Yes he has been avoided in his childhood and been beaten bitterly.Now being a wife he not only avoids me but also humiliates me in front of all relatives and society.He always counts my flaws and put me under stress all the time.He never let me stand beside him even in family functions.He always tells lies,he hides his salary and it's expenditure. But keep full control on my salary as I am also earning. He never bothers about his kids even.

The key point of recognise narcissist is the person is having narcissist behaviour it first disclose in close relationship. They are good manipulators and they have no guilt or remorse. They belive in taking only advantage from their supply and change their full personality to catch new victim to gain validation. They does not distinguish between constructive critism.

I really like what you said about left and right brain that left brain has content and right has context, I have never heard that before, I have heard about logic and emotional hemispheres but it is so interesting to see it this way, and I like how you have connected the disconnection of context and content as root of neurosis in context of npd, I had thought that npd is a result of lack of empathy that may be either rooted in childhood because of some severe series of trauma or is a learned behavior from parents, it seems you are saying that disconnect between content and context because of disconnect in left and right brain is the cause of lack of empathy, I would love to hear more about this subject, it is very interesting and I have never come across this view but it makes a lot of sense.

I had a teacher in my school days. He was like if I asked him he would say you are a very good student why are you asking silly questions if I make mistake he would say you have so much ego not to ask the question to the teacher. If I got good mark in any subject it's because of him. If not then I will be a utter failure ,I will not do anything in life. All are good except me. If I scored good in an exam he will say this is your highest performance,u will not go beyond this mark, start encourage my friends to study hard.

Yes sir you r absolutely right my husband my mother in law my brother in law all r narcissist they r so much dominating, greedy ,unpredictable mentally harsh me a lot it was only six month marriage. I took legal action. They are so docile in front of court. I separated from them last May 2021. But sir how can I show their real face in society because no body can believe. they are showing I am wrong I am arrogant.

He forcefully sent me back to my parents home..
