Finally someone who says like everyone „it doesn’t matter what DAW“ you use, but also explains it well through experience, that it REEEALLY doesn’t matter in the end. I though do worry about the aspect, that if I learn any DAW but Ableton, I will have struggles with live performances of all kinds😑

Master the DAW you are already using, and if you need more features after youve already mastered it, THEN try a different DAW. Switching between DAWS when you havent really mastered any of them will just lead to it taking forever to actually produce high quality tracks and will zap your creative drive.

The acutal backing tracks or beats may be created in FL Studio but at the end of the day, the finish product that you hear on the radio will still end up in Pro-Tools recorded and mixed by professional Pro-Tools Engineers esp during the recording process when recording vocals and producing the song. The STEMs of the beat and vocals are generally mixed by a separate Mix Engineer.

Great advice man! I was a cakewalk guy in the 90s. Then I went to Cubase (logical step). The version 8.5 started to have weird bugs on my system with the annoying dongle not reading. And I bought FL Studio. Indeed I spend 3 months getting my head around it and getting efficient. And yeah the step sequencer is a delight. Audio recording is still annoying, having to select what you record all the time. But I get things done and each program has its quirks. I love FL now although I wish they’d implement compositing takes, that’s a great workflow in Cubase (to cut sections of different takes by just marking it and it cross fades between them). This is a manual job in FL. But I paid 300 bucks for FL and I am allowed to run it on all my machines and have a lifetime upgrade. That’s worth everything to me.

Creativity exists outside of technology; not because of it. An asr 10 or and mpc were the "hip hop" DAWs from back in the day. Those instruments were greatly impaired compared to modern DAWs. They made great hits with tools inferior to what we have access to in most DAWs these days. So I obviously disagree. @@paulookup

Pro Tools's workflow is really slow though, so I just do everything in Ableton. Don't waste your time switching DAWS spend some time exporting stems instead and learn and use new plugins, they make the difference!

I started with Logic then Pro tools and had been using both of them for over 10 plus years but I actually wanted to see what FL, Ableton, Studio One and Adobe was about and I like them all. They have different approaches to the creative process so sometimes if I can't come up with anything in one DAW then I'll open up another DAW and see what's poppin and usually I'll catch a nice vibe doing that. The only thing I'll say about Pro Tools is that when I'm recording a live instrument, vocals or mix/mastering I'll use it. Other than that I really can't use it for really much else. It doesn't lend itself to beat making very well but it does have its purpose and it does it well. However if you're straight nasty with any DAW you're using you don't even need Pro Tools, you can make anything radio ready with what you're using. Hell...I've made insane recordings with Audacity and RadioShack mic's...real ish.

i was using audition and In past 1 month I was switch to fl studio so, i can continue with fl studio because audition is very easy and very less tool so, I was confused fl studio is really best for me. because i want to make Foley sound and want to became a Foley artist. Can i continue with fl studio?

It all depends on what fits you bro
Even if you get used to FL but you think audition is best
      You can always go back
If you think you’re tired of audition because it’s not challenging you can always use another

Only problem with Logic is that if you get on a PC you have to learn another DAW. When my Macbook started acting up, I wasn't familiar with any other DAW except FL Studio, but I took a chance on Studio One.
