For me too starting out, Logic Pro is very intuitive, all you need to do is learn the shortcut keys to speed things up, where as FL it took me a while to work out how to use the patterns and mixer
Yeah exactly I heard that from everyone who started on FL 😅
Logic Pro is just so flexible I don’t use shortcuts but still it’s so intuitive
@@randomadamamyup just imagine if use the shortcut, you’ll be making magic. 😅
I think once you are FL studio user... You will perform better in Logic.

@@arnoldjr99 This is a great idea! I put it on my list and will try to do it in the next couple months :) Thank you for the recommendation and welcome to the channel!
How much do you charge for visual effects?
Your vids have gotten better for info and entertainment. Shout out for doing what’s best for you as an producer / artist. Audience will work itself out.
wow this is amazing to read, glad to hear my work is paying off in terms of quality videos :) I hope so, thank you!
I moved from Cubase to FL, and now I'm thinking about moving from FL to Logic and that's why I got here.
All these reasons that are referred to in this video are so relevant to me who make beats, record and mix.
I thought FL was a user friendly and most intuitive DAW, yet the routing system and organizing twice for one instrument really irritated me especially when it comes to recording vocals.
Used FL for years and was never happy with how long everything took. Switched to Ableton as i was running Windows....... best decision ever. Great channel btw 👍🏻
Ableton isn't just for Mac ??
@armywithluv55
Talking about me switching to Ableton from FL instead of Logic, hence running Windows
@@armywithluv55nope, it’s on Windows, runs well…actual more stable than my Mac
I switched from Logic Pro to FL Studio fully, but I prefer Logic Pro more. The reason I switched was the switch from Mac to Windows as being on a Mac felt much more limited than Windows, so when I built my new computer I tried both Ableton & FL Studio and went with FL because I found it easier to use, since I'd used it a few times before whilst I was still a Logic user for collabs. If Logic was available for Windows I would 100% stay with that, but for me, being on Windows and having a less preferred DAW outweighs being on a DAW which works better for me whilst being on a more limited OS (Operating System).
try Cubase maybe? Or Studio One... Much more similar to Logic than FL. I went from Logic, to Studio One and finally to Cubase now. I also used Ableton in the past, but while it is great for editing and sound design, I really do not like it for mixing.
@@AlexLapugean I was just about to say this. I was in their situation and chose Cubase as my DAW on Windows. I’m back on Mac and I still use Cubase mostly.
@@AlexLapugean I was just going to mention Studio One 😃
It is indeed the Logic for Windows
I’m feeling absolutely the same, I started producing on FL, then moved to Ableton… after producing on Ableton for 10 years I recently moved into Logic and IDK why but I feel like Logic’s sound is better. I like the quality more and I can take decisions faster and better to know what I should keep and what I should remove. This helps me to feel more creative and inspired, is like Logic was made just to work.
Can relate to all this!! :) It's crazy the impact it can have!! I'm glad you took that decision ✨
@@musicbyplv cheers!!! Loving your content!
Apple products do be like that
I love your channel, your editing, and your energy! I'm subbed. Also, I used Logic Pro for a while and switched to Ableton, then Cubase, then back to Ableton, then Reaper, where I'm at now. But, your video is making me consider going back to Logic. Even though as I'm writing this I'm realizing I'm a chronic DAW-switcher.
Hahaha you are 😅 But this way you can make a good decision on which DAW is best for you! And thank you so much for the kind words on the channel, so happy to hear all this as a lot of work goes into it 🙏🏻
I heard a good reputation about "Reaper". I'm about to start music production, do you think reaper is worth the try or should I choose other DAW which would be more productive for my future career
I think this is great! It is always important to find the DAW's that can allow your workflow and sound to evolve as much as you do throughout your career! Great work!
I honestly love FL because of their plugins which were (honestly not great). It made me venture out to the world of VST’s which in turn made me learn a lot more about my production. I am starting to feel Logic X since my partners use GarageBand and I could learn how to fit in their ecosystem better.
Yeah take the best of each, experiment and see what works best for you :)
GarageBand is the same as logic?
@@armywithluv55Yeah basically. Logic is like the advanced version of GarageBand with more features for those looking for more flexibility in their workflow.
@@sickassbeats but why there's two versions I don't understand?
@@armywithluv55GarageBand comes already pre-installed in most MacOS devices and it’s free. Logic X is not, and you have to pay to use it, as it’s more advanced.
i've switched from Ableton to Logic Pro, because having a bus for the FX Busses is a killer option.
An ability to apply EQ and compression only on WET returns is lifechanging.
Dear friend, in fl you can also make one track / one instrument / one mixer. I understand that it's not a good fit for you but in my opinion, Fl allows you to customise a lot your workspace and that's why it can be frustrating or hard to understand. One day i think i'll switch to cubase so i can combo Fl for the prod then one of these bad boy for the mixing / mastering. And about the price, you did not menttion that you have to buy a fuckin mac to use logic lel (or being a bit curious)
If all this is a business buying a macbook won't hurt I mean investment
@@gtmlsmsc yeah but i would have been nice to know that its only for mac 😐
I did the exact same thing, started with fl, and as I started using logic it was just so much easier and just liked it so much more than other DAW’s
Exactlyyyyy we both have the same journey then :)
i used them all (FL, Reason, Cubase, ProTools, Ableton, Nuendo, Logic) and for me Logic sounds the best! will never go back..
Niiiiice!!! :D
First off all a big shout out to you you're doing a great job and i can also relates to you in this fl case because i also switch to abeleton because of the same reasons !!
Great video, thanks. Always a LPX user - definitely the best DAW and the best GUI.
Interesting perspective. I prefer FL studio for my creative production process, then studio one for mixing.
I started off with FL not knowing what the difference was in quality when it came to recording but for beats it’s my go too but I had to switch automatically to logic for recording and such it has better quality it took me awhile to figure that out myself it’s a powerhouse as well logic 🔥
Exactly!!!! That's exactly what both are good for, thank you for that :D
@@musicbyplv me too
I started on cool edit pro, then samplitude, skipped to cakewalk then “Ensoniq Paris with MPC 2000” then made the jump to Logic 9 and then 10!
I will never go back ever, Logic is that deal to me!!
Thank you for this video really helped me make the best choice
I'm so glad! That was literally the goal of this video :D
I love FL. Made my first 3 projects on it. It saved my life. But imo it’s horrendous at recording and mixing vocals. It’s an extra step to bounce out all the stems, but now I record in Logic (for Flex) or Reaper. And mix in Reaper.
Once I learn how to make beats and get the better version of Melodyne or Autotune Pro, in reaper I’ll probably just do everything in there tbh.
I was a studio one guy cause it’s clean & fl is crazy looking to me, a friend got a maschine mk3 but couldn’t figure it out and so I purchased a maschine mikro to learn it to teach her, then enjoyed it so much that I switched, love the sounds n the hardware
As for me the blund of 2 DAWs can make more sense because it is true from my experience.
I use both FL studio and logic in 2 different ways I mean in FL studio it's more suitable for beat making and logic Pro is a DAW I use for melody ideas then by rewairing I use FL studio as a vst in logic Pro and record all those beats I have created in FL studio into logic Pro so for me these 2DAWs are very much useful
the best thing about fl is you can start from just $99 and work your way up. plus, they always have sales!
One of the biggest drawbacks of logic is being only Mac daws that only work on one specific operating system is already a flaw
Cool video. Just saw your channel for the first time tonight.
I also downloaded your Logic Template. One tip I'd suggest about the templates. It would be best to use only stock Logic plugins. That way everyone who downloads a template would be guaranteed to have every track working as it should without the need to find a replacement for a Serum or Waves plugin. Sticking to the stock plugins in Logic makes life so much easier with the templates.🙂
Hey Danny! Im glad you discovered my channel and are enjoying the content I bring to the platform :) Also you are SO right, I will update the template as soon as I can!!! Thank you! 😃🎶
Great choice for you ! I'm in windows / Studio one and very satisfied. But I have heard logic Pro is even more intuitive. How many hours do you devote in working days for music production? ( Tutorials not included)
As long as you are satisfied that's all that matters, Im glad you have the daw you love :) It really depends haha but mote more than 10 Id say as I also have youtube/instagram content to create ;)
It's not more intuitive. There are quite a few wierd limitations in Logic that you think it would be obvious you should be able to do, but can't (like searching for plugins by name, you can only manually select them from the menu, it is really infuriating, or sending midi from one track to another). I acutally switched from Logit to Studio One because of those things (and more). Funny enough, I recently switched again from Studio One to Cubase and it is great honestly.
I just got logic about a week ago and I love it and I've been a FL user for 10 yrs+
Oh wow!!! Best testimonial then 😃
I started on Ableton and switched to Logic and have never looked back. It just makes more sense to me and I think the built in instruments are the best. Plus, the flat price is great.
Great testimony! I've subscribed.
Thanks so much! Welcome to the team ;)
What about the piano roll? I have tried other DAWs, Ableton and Cubase for example, but I always got back to FL. The piano roll is simply great.
To be honest I don't really see any difference there, everything I was doing with the piano roll in FL Im able to do it in Logic so not a big change in my opinion :) What functions do you like exaclty ?
@@musicbyplvyeah a piano roll is just a piano roll in every other daws imo
They simply don’t need it
yo?
I'm still learning in FL Studio, started late 2023. I want to try Logic but it looks so confusing. Like how do i find my sample packs like in fl studio? or do i just drag it in? but still thinking to switch (:
I started with Logic Pro and I have been using it for 5+ years and I still don't know much about it. I always learn something new while im using it!
I use both. If I creat a beat I use FL Studio. The Pattern in FL Studio are great for making beats. You can start so quick without getting always into the piano roll. For Recording, Producing, Mix&Mastering I use Logic. Logic has a great workflow for editing. But If it comes to make a beat, I personally don't recommend Logic. But yeah at the end, you have to trust your ears and not the gear.
Just switched from fl to logic pro too (athough 1. i had only been using fl for like a few weeks and only made one track with it and 2. i only had the trial version of fl studio and the payed version of logic pro lol), so really glad to see the switch was worth it! awesome video!!
I personally would like to get into Logic but, I've been using Reason since 2.5 and have just gotten too into it that when I tried to use Logic, it had such a learning curve for me.
But great breakdown.
Yeah every daw has a learning curve but if you like your current one, dont change ;)
thanks! sounds like i'll start with logic 👌
Haha nice Im glad if I helped you make your decision ;)
I would like to be able to try and change to logic, it looks very intuitive and I have always liked its interface, unfortunately at the moment I don't have one for a mac but in the future I will surely get one and start using it!
Yeah that's really the only negative although Im really happy I switched to mac from windows as well ;)
It's worth getting!❤
I have about 5 DAWs. Still fall back to FL for ease of use. Now its supported on MAC so more compelling. They all work differently and depends on your use case but compared to Logic Pro, Pro Tools and Native Instruments and can't remember the other FL always enables my ideas to be created quickly with little fuss. Spend time with several and then decide is my general recommendation.
Yeah I totally agree with what you said :)
I love fl, but icant stand its horrible sounding instruments
@@joshemmason2747same but thats why there are packs u can download?? i have thousands of sounds i never use fl’s stock sounds.
I had the same experience. I spent a year+ with FL, and finally broke down and bought Live. FL has some great things about it but its workflow, even at its best, is way too cumbersome.
However, the best synth I've ever used is Sytrus and it is my default synth of choice even in Live.
Oh wow that's crazy, very similar journeys we had :)
@@musicbyplvme too
You just gain a new one. I love logic Pro! This DAW is fire! The price for Logic is amazing. The set for Logic is just beautiful. It has a very awesome trendsetting workflow. I do love Ableton as well.
Thank you so much for joining, glad you enjoy the videos! :D For everything you said, I couldn't agree more haha! Maybe one day I'll give Ableton a try!
@@musicbyplv aye Ableton to me has a more industry oriented approach. It has the same effect as Pro Tools to me. That’s just me. I quit missing with Pro Tools after I actually started realizing Logic and Ableton can the same things as Pro Tools when it comes to mixing and mastering. That’s me tho.
Honestly speaking logic is so Amazing,I kidda agree with u logic and Ableton is nice combination
Awesome video!
Thank you, really happy you enjoyed it :)
Great video
Since I got Mac I now really thinking on moving to Logic from FL.. Should try that 90 days trial
Ok..cool
3:40 But i can't agree the point that FL Studio not for EDM producers..huh?
🙂
yes , me too , many big names in edm like alan walker , martin garrix , bassjackers , brooks and more use fl studio as main daw , but she said fl is not for edm producers , this makes everyone laugh
@@alitaheri335 exactly
Afrojack but I think he switched to abelton though but he was a longtime user
If the other DAW companies would have you pay once and update like FL I would probably go with another DAW…
I'm transitioning to logic from ableton (or rather, from my PC to a way more powerful macbook than what I had in the past), and I had no idea that it has something like melodyne, which I also had on my radar, so thanks for sharing that! To be honest your cuteness is a bit distracting, but I still learned something new so I'll subscribe anyway... :D
I used Logic after FL Studio because I needed full MPE support, but I think they both have strengths. There are still many features I find myself wishing for in Logic. It depends on the task I'm working on too. For example, if I'm making sound effects for a video game, FL Studio has better tools like Edison. I find myself using both DAWs.
Yeah absoolutely agree! That's why Im saying it's good to try them and find the one that works best for you ;)
I have a question because i moved from FL to bitwig and it was such a relief after all this years! BUT i think about leaning to logic pro. The thing i am concerned about are the modulators and specifically the easyness with which you can connect LFO or Random modulator to any knob/parameter of any VST or Effect in a chain. How does it work in Logic Pro~?
Hey! So I wanna switch to logic. But I have to ask, how do u get the tracks at that colour? For me at school, all of it is just green
In all the advices on TH-cam, that is the best one. The UI and work flow are big for me. Why should you stick to a daw that doesn't inspire you. Today, I make up my mind. Thank you for your wise advice.
Looing messy is about personal organisation of work(Opinion)
In the end, the expertise u have in ur chosen DAW will be the most important thing for I guess no one can tell which DAW was used to make a song by listening to it.
FL is nice to run as a plug-in inside of Logic. Gives some more synth choices.
I have been working on fl studio for 5 years and yeay i gotta say its kinda messy everything 😢😢 like i feel like my head its about to explote everytime im mixing,
Interesting video. Through my 30 years experience is learning what’s best for you. What’s best for me? Making a beat in FL withholding FX as much as possible outside from sound sculpting but bouncing the stems and actually mixing Eq etc in what I prefer is pro tools but in logic atm. So it’s easier to make beat in FL but it’s easier to eq compress etc in logic/pro tools. Pro tools far superior in editing. Just wished logic shared same keyboard shortcuts for editing.
I started with FL too, while it’s cool and has some neat features, I feel like Logic is a lot better for overall design simplicity and functionality. FL still feels messy and a CPU drain. I think FL is better for DJ’s and beat makers, but for regular musicians, Logic Pro is easier and somewhat intuitive.
Hi I’m so glad I stumbled across your video!
I am using logic pro, and when I first bought a keyboard which was an AKAI MPC mini, it came with MPC Beats. After a year and a half I can’t figure out how to get it to make a sound!
Logic on the other hand was as easy as pouring a glass of milk. I can zoom through a project just as quick.
But get this, one of my third party apps offered “Ableton Live Lite” for free. So I thought, like yourself, why not try it? I downloaded it, opened it up, looked at the interface and closed it down. I didn’t know what I was looking at. I went to their “tutorials” and they were from older versions and so busy it was like going on a tour of a nuclear reactor control panel (yes, I know what one looks like). So now, I keep the app in hiding only to be used by someone I might collaborate with who doesn’t know Logic.
Thanks for reaffirming thAT Logic Pro is a great, professional DAW.
Gianni❤
The same can be said for Studio One ! When I first started producing 7 years back, I used FL Studio but quickly came to realize that it was a pain in the butt 😑
I couldn't afford a Mac so I had to go for a Windows alternative to Logic Pro and discovered PreSonus Studio One and I must say, it is the Logic Pro for Windows 😁
As of 2023 the latest release Studio One 6 looks, works and exactly feels like Logic Pro, even I could easily follow Logic Pro tutorials and recreate them in Studio One 😎
I wish people could understand how terrible Fruity Loops is 🙃
Yeah absolutely!!! I really didn't know that about Studio One but that's awesome for everyone else to find an alternative :) Thank you for your input, really useful!
@@musicbyplv Yes you're most welcome and keep up the good work 😇
Bro!! Seriously!! All the technical stuff takes so much work you forget the idea that you have.🤦🏽♂️
They won’t most FL users are brainwashed, 😂😂😂😂
@@davidpatterson4547 Yeah, FL has a cumbersome and inefficient workflow
I started on LMMS and then finally got FL but I struggled to make 1 beat for months but then I went back to LMMS and made countless good beats and I like LMMS a lot too. I've been thinking about switching to logic coz its UI caught my attention and it looks like a good DAW too and it reminds me of LMMS with the green 😅so I'm wondering if I should try it out and this video helped a lot
In your opinion pitch fl studio or pitch corretion logic ?
Great video. I'm an old school FL Studio user, but considering switching to Logic. Or at least use both. And now you convinced me haha. Btw, reason 5 is underrated. People sometimes don't realize how the user interface can affect your creativity. That's basically the reason why I could never use Ableton 😄
Logic pro is just amazing, rock solid rarely crashes and optimized for mac...using for 10 years..regards
Also, and a huge plus, Logic has never charged for an update, and those updates are hugely impactful. New instruments, effects, you name it. Free. Every time. Logic is a no brainer, for me anyway.
That is actually a VERY good point I should have mentionned! Thanks for this addition ;)
I use Ableton because something happened when I first downloaded FL and I just couldn't be bothered to try and fix it lol
A lot of my friends that produce EDM work in Ableton and they've been trying to convert me from Logic, but I honestly enjoy Logic wayyy too much to switch. I'm glad there are people out there in the EDM scene that also prefer logic, I feel like there's not many of us out there 😭
I started on fruity loops 3, and this video is why I use Logic Pro since I got it and not fl studio. Logic is great for songwriters that produce, fl is better for ppl who just produce. Great vid new sub 🥳
LETS GOOOO MY SISTERRRR🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
👏🏾 Logical choice.
Hahaha true! 😅
I've been playing with FL studio for 1 year now (first I started with Reaper) and now I'm trying Logic. As a 3D artist (you know, Maya, Blender, Zbrush...I know a "little bit" about UI in softwares) that occasionally do some recordings with my guitar and want to learn music production seriously now, I totally agree in all the points that you said: FL studio is messy AF, the UI in Logic is much better, intuitive and ready to go. Thanks for sharing, nice video!
Pretty controversial subject, but it’s a must to share imo. I was longtime windows user and I thanked I never touch fl as its a mess if we translate to a real mixer.. it just sucks and adds extra steps and breaks workflow. I used Live on windows but wanted to also use Logic so I build a Hackintosh and now I have the best of both worlds. I use Logic, Live, Pro Tools and Luna in macOS and I still can game on Windows. Although I also must say there’s no correct answer to this dilema. The best daw is the one you feel as an extension of you, the one that feeds your necesites. Be free to choose whatever daw you want and you feel you produce what you want and need with it.
Great video and “why’s” you’ve addressed in this video. Also great editing as all last videos 🔥
As someone who started off with GarageBand mobile and is currently using FL, this video is tempting me to make the switch 🤩 just need a Mac haha
Still here, The only daw I know and what my school is teaching us to use. They don't even offer FL Studio. They also provide us ProTools and Ableton Live. Haven't gone to those yet. I'm loving Logic
Hahaha that's funny they don't 😅 If you love this one, you're good!!
awesome vid
Thank you so much :D
Awesome explanation. Made me rethinking the daw ones more time.
I don´t know if you or your fans have tried this -- when the computer break down. I really tried to back up vst, sample, and so on, with dropbox, google drive etc. Fl studio backups have never worked for me, as i wish. Take almost a week to get all files and system up an running. :/
Now i stopped completely because of this issues. 13 years of production with, dealing lost data - maybe 50 times in life and i´m tired.
Is there something more nice feather with logic. That could make life of production little bit easier for backup?
Haha Im glad, that was the point of that video ;) For the backup thing, Ive never experienced that much loss. The way I have it setup is that everything is on an external SSD. Maybe it can be helpful!
is Logic like FL Studio in terms of: lifetime updates or you need to buy each new version?
Back in 2013, when Logic Pro X (10) first came out, users of Logic 9 had to pay $199 to update. They've since taken the X out of the name in 2020, even though we're technically on version 10.7 today. Users of 10 haven't had to pay for an update in more than a decade at this point. However when version 11 comes out (if ever), I'm not sure if they will charge for the update or not. Logic used to have a Major Version update every 2 to 3 years that you'd have to purchase in a box of DVDs (Logic 9 switched to only being available on the Mac App Store about a year after release, and 10 was never offered Physically)
I'd trust FL with the updates more, since no matter if you got the Box or bought it online, you always got free updates as a download from the start. Image-Line makes it clear, whereas Logic (Apple) keeps us guessing.
Cubase, Nuendo, Studio One, Cakewalk, and Samplitude all have a similar paradigm to Logic and will suit people who maybe don't want to use a Mac. There are of course many small differences but the workflow is more similar than different.
Live and Bitwig are but still playing catch-up on many features us old-timers take for granted... but have unique features as well.
And FL Studio is just odd. That doesn't mean it's nott useful but yes, more so for repeating beats.
been using fl for almost 10 years and ive been comfortable using it but one problem for me was the limit of mixer tracks especially if i make full flavour song i always need to seperate the track in 2 to 3 different projects. if logic is available on windows i might get it
there’s hundreds of mixer tracks u just gotta scroll
@@NightscapeSleeps yes there are 125 of it but i always manage to use them all if i make a full flavour song
You’re telling me you used like all 100+ mixer tracks multiple times?
@@hoon-kay4840 yes well i make 10 to 12 genres in one song for a rhythm game music
Evrytning that you explain about workflow is tne same for both. One pattern, one instrument one mixer fl do tne same. You can setup the automations and move tnem to tne bottom so that way they are not in the screen. Ect, ect ect...
Both daws have completely different workflows, if they work for you great, but they are known to have 2 very different workflows, it's a fact ;)
@@musicbyplv I worked before with logic Pro. I think I started with Logic 7. Logic has one work flow, FL Studio has many. You can do the same thing in different ways. And this is why in music magazines for the past 7 years FL Studio is number 1 or 2 best DAW. But I think is more about taste, not work flow.
LPX is my first DAW I love it!!! I’m learning AL now to add value as a live keyboard player!!! I want to learn as many DAWS as I can because I never know that I may have to be in the studio with an artist and the engineer has to leave the room for a sec and we have to wait because idk his/er DAW!!!
Very true and super important point yeah!!
Hi, new here.. what do you recommend for midi controller for Logic Pro? Budget, or Value Controller.. I am familiar with GarageBand and I love it but I’m thinking of upgrading to it.. thanks!
Hey! Welcome to the channel and team :D For MIDI controller, I guess it's more a question of what you want. How many options, buttons, knobs, pads you want etc... How many keys as well. If you want to play and practice piano with it I would recommend over 32 keys for sure. Then just make sure it's compatible with Logic Pro and you're good :)
If you love garageband you'll love Logic once you do the upgrade!!
I think I’m switching to logic after this video. I have went through Ableton live, and FL studio, and for some reason they were just too difficult. I just need something straightforward, so I can create good music fast
Hahaha good choice 😅 I mean it all depends on the person but I do find Logic workflow easier and straightforward compared to the other two!
On day one I figured how to use 90% of logic and I like the piano roll it's kinda like FL when you apply the pencil and eraser.
I couldn’t agree more, started with FL and hated it, went to maschine and it was ok, just got Logic Pro for iPad and I love it. Logic is so much easier and intuitive. I still use traktor to DJ with, but when it comes to production, it’s logic all the way for me!
EXACTLY!!! It's just Logic!!! 😅
Definitely is good to try different daw. everyone has a different music style, workflows and/or learning style and there's no a single daw that covers all style of production or workflows.
I agree with your conclusions. The only thing that’s a pity is that Logic doesn’t come with a good harmonizer and pitch corrector out of the box (Melodyne is much better than what comes with Logic).
Just want to let you know that your video has helped me make up my mind. I have used FL studio before and can agree on everything you say. I will now be purchasing Logic. Thanks for a simple yet informative video. Keep it up!
That was exactly the point of the video, to help you figure out what's best for you :) You're welcome!!! 😇 Have fun on Logic!
Almost all the reasons you mentioned are common across all DAWs, for example the layout of the mixers and audio and MIDI tracks, the ability to use flex time and flex pitch, the variety of plugins and internal effects of DAWs, and so on.
The flex time and flex pitch options are not particularly new or unique either, and I have seen them in all DAWs since Sonar.
Except for FL Studio, which has a completely different look and feel, almost everything you mentioned is common to all DAWs.
I'm only a minute and half in on the video, and i completely agree with you. I unfortunately spent $300 on FL, used it, tried to really like it, but so many things made no sense or was just plain stupid. Once I tried Ableton out, it was so easy to use and made a beat in a matter of minutes. I never went back to FL and just wasted money ... I am very excited to try out Logic Pro on iPad though. Now I will continue watching the video.
That is awesome! Im glad you were able to find your DAW :) Curious to hear your thoughts about Logic when you try it!!
@@yuhzpree It's @musicbyplv
PLV: let me know when you start using arturia plugin.
V Collection 9
FX Collection 3
Serum
Are the only plugins I own.
I wish that Logic Pro was available on Windows though as I currently don't own a MacBook and it's way too expensive to buy just for the sake of using Logic.
FL isn't the worst but there's a ton of menu diving, are there any alternatives that you can recommend on Windows based devices?
Studio One looks similar to Logic
The thing is when i record vocals on fl no matter what happens it starts to crack and stutter hut when i record them on my mpc on logic or pro tools it works perfectly its so anoying
do you have to pay for updates on logic?
Hi what computer have you got? MacBook Pro m3?
Nope, I use a macbook pro from 2020, m1 chip, 16gb ram, 13", 1TB storage
tack så myckett :)
I feel like I need a class from YOU because you made me feel comfortable with the switch. Just not confident with my path.
Hey! Yeah absolutely I can definitely help you :) Send me a DM on Instagram and we can talk about it!
I use FL for lifetime free updates since I don’t have all the money in the world. Also, FL Stock plugins sound better than people portray them as, it’s just a matter of how you use them.
Logic has lifetime free updates.
You make a good point man 👍👍👍
@@DaleRobertSzyms actually it doesnt. it has minor updates that are free like if you were in logic 9 and then updating it to 9.1, 9.2, etc. But if you wanna go from Logic 9 to Logic X then you gotta pay for that.
With FL, you can go from FL 12 to FL 21 for free without having to pay again

Exactly 💯
I would love to use Logic as I use it at my school and it's absolutely amazing, however I don't have a mac at home and don't want to pay a ton of money for one
I actually just discovered SoundBridge, workflow quite similar to Logic, they have a free version for up to 10 tracks and it's on both Mac and PC :)
U use Studio One, Logic Pro and Ableton. S1 is NO.1, no doubt. (search plugins, scales, macros, ghost notes, warp audio, input gain on mixer, scenes, project page).. The only thing better about Logic is that indescribable magic it has..
Oh wow you tried a lot that's awesome! That's how you found the best for you :)
Is it true that you get lifetime updates and upgrades with Logic Pro? If that’s the case I’m switching right now
Current version is going on ten years now
Nice I also love using logic.
Coooool Logic gang !! 🔥
@@musicbyplv yes 👏
I found that fl studio was prefect for what my workflow is I should have started using fl long ago
