I wish they would put the larger touch screen in all the models. Kind of a rip off for an almost 40k car and they give you a little as screen lol. Everything else I could live without.

If you're getting a 2019-2020 GT an you don't opt for Premium with Nav, B&O12 speaker w/Sub in trunk, Magneride, Active Valve exhaust and Performance Pack, you'll absolutely regret it.

Got my 19’ GT for 28.5k. The most base model vehicle. I don’t regret getting any packages because I have one of the best sets of coil overs, the exhaust setup I want and much more things I plan on doing that would have only been removed from the vehicle.
I don’t need any of that fancy shit on mine, I have a base GT and I’m in love with mine.
I ordered my 2019 PP2 fully loaded minus safe and smart. It took 8 months for delivery...I’m 100% satisfied. 🇺🇸

Sometimes base is bliss. Got my 2019 GT (base model) for 32k after negotiation. Manual transmission and quad exhaust, I'm a happy camper

In April I ordered my 2019 Race Red GT PP1, 6 speed with 301A and active exhaust. Very happy with it. I’m more of a sport/touring guy but all mustangs are cool!
To each his own. Ruby red was my color of choice but then I like a deeper red. I agree that if you're going to mod then go with a base model.
My 2019 is fully loaded with magneride and I have no regrets.
what did you pay before tax price? i found 8k off msrp using ford finance then refinance to cheaper rate after 3mths or more.

I’ve been following you for awhile and appreciate your content. I have every option available on my 2019 GT Mustang except the PP & racing seats. I’m totally thrilled with the car! I really don’t understand why you upgraded so many options on Carnage, then turn around and mod it out. Agree, you should have gotten the base model since your cutting up & replacing everything.

Zander your exactly right .. but one thing.. i bought a 2018 mustang gt base model 10r80 from lebenon ford in ohio with the roush supercharger on it 700 hp for 40 grand cant go wrong with their deal.. iam about power over options..

I bought my 19 mustang with just pp1 as the only option and I love it. Manual as well, I know it’s slower than the 10R80 but I just love my 6 speed stick

Same here, '15 6sp, I got the premium with the PP and the leather recaro's. I would of never got a base model. The manual with the windows down and ripping gears, muffler delete and x-pipe. I just love it. It's a head turner every time.

Autos are for young kids that don't know anything different. Manual is a man's transmission
This is priced at 41,100 and I got the exact same mustang GT but 2019 base model with the same black accent package in race red and my MSRP was 39,500 and I negotiated them to bring the price down to 36,000 best decision ever imo... and remember that dealerships always have room to negotiate from their MSRP if you guys are looking into buying one (:
Idk why people buy brand new mustang's in general, it makes no sense unless you pay the whole car with cash. You could get a used 2017-2018 GT for way cheaper.

It all depends on what u want from the car.Me personally I wouldnt make a full blown race car out of a brand new car "especially with payments involved"If I were going your route I'd look for a good used one .

My GT is base model 6r80 and 3.55 gear , it is awesome , light, cheap, easy to mode, FBO , I miss some luxury but comparing it to my p71 it is like Mercedes 😂

Tbh it depends on what ur coming from. I got my 19 gt fully base at 19 years old and I love everything about it. idc if the seats aren’t leather or the nav isn’t nice, it has a 5.0 and a 10 speed which is all I care about!
Out of curiosity, how much do you pay for insurance? I’m 24 and don’t wanna buy a newer car cause I don’t wanna pay insurance cause I’m cheap. I’ve gotten quoted at 3-400 a month but I have a squeaky clean record and no accidents. In Texas if that helps any. Thanks for the reply in advance!
@@Ivan_Gbs When I got my first mustang GT back in 2004 (at 19) they wanted 400 for insurance, a month...and that was from the 1 and only insurance company that wanted to give me a quote haha I ended up paying cash and liability was still 200. I had to have my mustang one way or another.

Yup!!! I have manual base PP1. $40k CDN new. Added recaros second hand and went from there.
I special ordered my automatic base model 2018 GT Mustang. I don't need a digital odometer, yet the base model comes with the option to select a digital reading. I don't need the performance package, since my GT will never see a race track. I requested cloth seats, so no need to warm the seats in the winter. This was my fourth base model GT I have purchased. Though I put down a hefty down payment, I enjoy my $200.00 monthly payments. All I wanted was 460 hp.

I have a ‘18 GT, bought it used back in January with 18k miles. I absolutely love it. Don’t have any issues with it, and it’s pretty much a daily for me, I have a 98 ranger I drive too when I don’t want/can’t drive the mustang because of weather but this thing is bulletproof. My brother has a 2016 GT with over 70k miles on it and his is running like a champ too.
See I went base model and man I wish I went fully loaded two tone, performance pack auto....oh well gonna trade me off soon to get the fully loaded

That's what I got....I got the 300a with a whipple...so it's the base model.10r80..w/supercharger..then I had race axels and one piece driveshaft put on...picking it up tomorrow from Lebanon Ford...I'll give you a shoutout in the video
I went with the base, 10R80 and 301a package. So i get the gps, all the toggle switches, etc. Everyone asked me why i didn't get any of the performance packs. For the exact reasons you said. Everything that comes with that package would have been taken off. So, the savings i got, i turned it into a supercharger and a few other mods. Car sits at 720+ whp now and daily drives no prob. The ONLY thing i wish i had was the led dash. But being in Canada, by the time it gets to me, probably end up costing me $2500-$3k. Rather spend that moneys on more go fast goodies lol.
If you can, get it fully loaded with all the features. My 2017 Mustang GT 6 speed - god damn I love and miss that car - I got base model and little by little added features.
Down the road I started having electrical problems. The computer stopped reading my keys, battery was being drained overnight, AND a whole lot of other problems.
It was damn impossible to find the root of the problem - spent a lot of money and the couple shops I went to couldn’t find the problem. I ended up going to Ford and they wanted to charge several thousand to return it to stock.
Traded it in and got me a fully loaded 2021 Tacoma TRD. Was done with all the problems. I love this truck and the only thing I’m probably ever going to do is a lift mod and a bed rack for a tent.
Fully loaded is the way to go, so many things can go wrong with custom jobs. I miss my mustang so badly but I’ll get another one in the future. When I pay off this truck in 5 years I’ll be looking to get a fully loaded Mustang - and I’m sure by then the new model will be out!
I got a 2016 GT PP my car is perfect as is. A little quiet but I like it. If I were to buy something now I'd buy a gt350

Zach if it loses value it’s not an investment, a car is 99% of the time a depreciating asset, unless it’s like a collector car and you never drive it. A sports car is the opposite of an investment , just something awesome to drive
I love my 19 ruby red gt with the black out package. It's 10 speed auto with base interior.... super comfortable and haven't lost any races yet... no complaints
I just bought a 2020 reace red performance pack 1 with no bells and whistles love it I think I did it right.
I did the same 5 1/2 years ago..perfpack and recaros. ..the perfect go fast machine!
It's what I did with the ecoboost, customized the interior and exterior how I wanted for way cheaper, most options can be enabled in forscan
I bought my '18 as a base black appearance package A10 with 3.55's on purpose, I wanted less weight and a lot lower price because I just knew I was gonna mod it well past PP specs in every way. And I have. Initial price 34k, now I'm at 47k invested in it and its a full n/a build minus a 3 row radiator and front skinnies (which are over the winter projects) so I"m still in mine for under the price of a new premium PP and mine is set up my way, with all the tricks the bells and whistles like I want. The only regrets I have is on the color, I love the white and black, but that '18 only color Crimson would have been sweet!
Upgraded the wife to a 2020 Rapid Red Gt base model with the blackout package 10r80 cuz she liked it! Do note she was in a 2012 civic previously! Happy wife, happy life...
The base is just boring. The interior and everything feels cheap (even that they are almost the same). I had a premium 18GT 10R80 GT and moved up to the Bullitt. Will never look back. Also when you go upgrading the dash and the cluster you will end up paying more than what it will cost you to move up to premium and 401A.
I got that exact same spec but with a manual and the 301a I don’t regret it. I use Apple CarPlay so I don’t mind not having gps and I got new wheels, front lip, and I ordered the mbrp pro exhaust and I’m saving for a suspension overhaul. Long story short you can make a base better for less or a tad more than higher trims
I would have opted for the PP1 for 2018 Mustang GT. Also for the digital dash. Interesting you said no MagneRide. I instead rolled with the Accent Package, Premium, Sync 3, Don’t regret it.
Mine is a 301a, Sync 3 with the screen & the toggle switches. No navigation. The Orange is pretty sharp! Glad to see there isn't a Need For Green on the lot! Lol

I got a 2020 premium with the pp1 and I love it. I got the 9 speaker system and I personally think the 12 speaker system is not worth the extra 1200 dollars.
See, I'm hard pressed between Twister Orange and Shadow Black... I love the sinister look of all black everything but I've been in love with Twister Orange since it was released... Now, I do still plan on getting a fully loaded PP1 GT despite what you said in the video haha. I won't be doing too much to it for a long time at first so it'll do good for me.

I love all my bells and whistles, B&O, magneride, 401a pp1 ,A10 . I had a base model 18 and I much rather my 19. Both twin turbo, 18 top mount Hellion 19 bottom mount. Love the 19 much more.
Bought my 2020 in September. Base model only options were the wing and 10r80. It was cheaper for me to get a new one than a used one with the same options. Now several thousand later in upgrades it’s getting to where I want. Missing headers and a blower to finish my mods
301a adds sync 3 back into it.
I got a base model 2019 the day before Thanksgiving (four days ago). I had a fully loaded Nissan Altima before. I honestly don't miss any of the bells and whistles. Got a close out for the year end and saved even more money. Wanted the 6 speed because reasons. Feels good to back in a Mustang! :)

I had a 15 401A 6 speed that I loved but went with a 2020 base with PP1 Safe and Secure package and the only thing I miss is the shaker stereo! I never used the navigation and I have most of the rest minus the 8" screen!
I just ordered a 2022 Mustang GT Premium in manual. I got the 401a package and Recaro seats. Wish I could’ve got magneride without having to get the performance pack. Couldn’t justify spending an additional 8300 when all I wanted was magneride. I’ll end up putting coilovers, brembos, and maybe sway bars all for under 5k anyways.
I'll make sure to remind you next time to get the base haha, this are awesome colors tho especially that orange Halloween all year.
I bought base model 2017 and I have enjoyed modding it to the way I want it. Not the same thing everyone else has. ITS MINE!!

I bought a base 2019 GT in Magnetic gray with the black accent package.. it was exactly what I wanted.. cheap, and you can build it up exactly how you want it to be, without all the added luxury nonsense.
USA version, 2020 GT, PP1, digital dash, roush exhaust + H pipe. Poland here - I love my Mustang. I wouldn't trade it for european or asian car!
I like the video and I noticed that the car next to the orange mustang was a Bullitt. I got mine in april and just love it. Have you had a chance to drive one and review it? It would have been nice if they would let you drive one.

How about be happy with what you have “\_O_/“. Of course, I shopped around for a while and the PP1 with the 10R80 what what I wanted and what I got. Paid $37K...$9Kish in rebates. Did not get the magnaride.

I've been thinking the same exact thing lately. Get rid of the GT350 and get a base model Mustang GT. Then I have a ton of things I can do to the car. And if it blows up, I don't have to sell my house. I love that new candy red.
GT350 is a beast though. Drove one a couple days ago. But. There is a big difference in price
I purchased my base 2019 Mustang GT Race Red 6Spd Manual, w/ Quad Tips and painted rear spoiler brand new for $27,799 on new years Eve 2018/2019, as the dealer had all new Ford Mustangs marked down $10K !!!! Only thing I don't like are the cloth seats and 18" wheels/tires. I used black vinyl wrap to black out my pony for less than $10.
I got a base plan on doing the hellhorse sync and dash eventually.

Honestly I have the same one except in silver. Black accents package , cloth seats no navigation did the rear seat and passenger seat delete. Weighted it with me in it at the track, 3350 lbs also have e85 cat delete and jlt intake. And I’m currently beating cj set ups full bolt ons ss camaros and fbo head cam c6 vettes
I ordered race red 401A without the performance pack, without active exhaust because I'm changing out those kind of things right away anyway, but I really like the rest of the premium pack features. Anyway, mine is right at 42k, so I'm happy.
In October 2018 I had a 2019 base model 10r80 5.0 and I miss it

You pay an extra 9-10k and get premium and performance package. The digital cluster and sync 3 system would be upwards of 5k. All the other things like big brakes would cost even more. The premium and performance package is worth it in my opinion.
Only complaint about the mustang is very short power band unless supercharged. This is OK if you have the 10 speed auto as it keeps it in the power band but I like a manual.

There's always those few 5-8% that get lucky and their csrs lives well on track. Same for high hp. 95% of vehicles made after 2005 are 80% maxed out under the hood in terms of safe horse power. That safe number with the 2018+ 5.0 for a daily driver not built is 600-650 crank hp.
Depends what you’re lookin to do to it. If you’re lookin to modify the shit out of it, sure go stock. But if you’re someone who wants a great car with all the amenities, no headaches, no voiding of warranty , I’d go otherwise
I am looking at a new 2020 model.... Is anyone having manual transmission problems in stock form? I will not be modding mine if I buy it. Is it still the MT82 transmission?
I’m not a “luxury” kind of guy when looking for a performance car so I don’t get wanting more than the base model on an S550 GT. My wife and her friends would totally get it though.

I never liked orange, but this one really pops in the sun with the black accents. I have the cyber orange and I got it because it looks yellow and i love yellow. I love the active value thing, but wish I could set it and keep it set. I always have to change it. I would feel bad about using the sales guy's time, but you gave him a shout out and you will probably buy from him in the future, so that's cool.
