Turbopickle It just depends the route you decide to take, honestly. Whipple superchargers are pretty expensive compared to centrifugals so you’re gonna pay more. What is an n54 limited to in terms of power?

L8R-HP channel installed a Gen 6 Whipple on a Mustang in approximately 4 to 6 hours! I suggest you switch mechanics bc you're getting reamed out with the whole 12 hour time. This includes taking the stock intake off, changing pullies and errrthing else. Damn son, wake TF up

On the Cheap it's like 18K to 20k to set them up at 650/700 wheel, with rims and tires along with the super charger, tuning, and the other bits and bob's.. And thats not really that cheap.. I think I am going to try and do an Intake, Fast Cat legal back and a Tune and settle for 500 wheel maybe 520.. I don't want to push her like that.. I am looking to keep my miles low and value up..

I think supercharging a Mustang GT is a good concept, but I think I'd prefer to buy a factory-built Mustang. I am a big fan of the 11'-14' Shelby GT500, of course the latter model years, the 13' & 14' being a little better.
A stock used 1 owner11'-12' Shelby GT500 with under 40k miles can be had for just al iittle more than a newer Mustang GT without modifications performed. Also, Ford reduced the weight of the 11' and newer Shelby GT500s by using a wire arc technology, opting for an aluminum engine block over the iron block, so curb weight between a GT and Shelby GT500 is about the same after GT upgrades are done.
Replacing or upgrading the MT82, the clutch, drive shafts/half shafts, adding a fuel pump booster, perhaps upgrading the rear end with an anti-hop kit via BMR, consider the crank sprocket issue, oil pump should be upgraded for longevity, among other details I may not be aware of. If it were me, I would purchase an 11'-12' Shelby GT500 and strap a Kenne Bell Liquid Cooled Supercharger and be pumpin' some serious power, 750+ horsepower at the crank.
But to each their own, nice build dude.
Makes sense, but the chassis and suspension are some things to consider too, especially with the newer gens, world of difference imo.
Personally my favorite mustang is the 13-14 gt500.

I don’t know what you would. You can get a digital dash on eBay or through ford. You can purchase ford performance parts and kits or better parts and kits and make something even better than a premium.

@@thehayman7352 i'm assuming the oil pump gear like he said, but the billet timing sprockets is another important one for coyotes, as well as the whole engine should probably be built to be safe. forged internals, sleeved block.... basically like another 20k plus
Alex Wilcox yea but under 1000 hp you don’t need to build the engine like that. Just upgrade the halfahafts or they’ll snap for sure and maybe a drive shaft. Oil pump gears ⚙️ and you should be pretty good.

I paid 12k total for my Whipple stage 2, Sai Li fuel system, OPG and CS and remote dyno tune by Lund. Shop was 2900 for install of all that
Such a badass ride brother, and you're still just getting started on the build :) Not crazy about VooDoo's sticker on the back, I liked the clean look.
The yellow looks good on the calipers and under the hood. Nice too see something a little different. I have a 17 GT with a Kenne Bell 2.8L supercharger and did the install myself. Has the oil pump gears, crank sprocket, fuel pump booster, 47lb injectors, axles, driveshaft, 20" tires and wheels and a anti wheel hop kit. You mention a return fuel system set-up within your list of suggested mods. You don't need it. A fuel pump booster will do the exact same job for a fraction of the cost. In most case the booster will actually increase fuel pressure more than those high dollar fuel system. E-85 or gasoline. Makes no difference. Just an FYI. Love the car.

I supercharged my RT for 6.5k. Did it myself. It was easier than an Ikea dresser. A supercharger falls under the "Bolt-on" category.

That price on a stage 2 is extremely good. About $1k less than usual.
Turbos for half the price. And 2x the power. Nice video though. Blow off valve vs whine. Whine wins but loses races.
Buy cheaper oil and then change it every 2000 miles... It's way better to keep new in it, than go 5K to 10K with older exspensive stuff...

Seriously a simple instal and who the hell takes 10-12 hours to do it? Takes all of about 4-5 hours. Get your hands dirty and do that yourself, learn something.

In this day an era where cars like this make 460 hp to the crank stock I don't see how people feel like they need more power especially if it is mainly driving on public roads. I had a 2014 mustang gt and NEVER felt like I needed more power. Your hardly ever going to use it and if you do you'll be in jail. Hence his current situation. All that money for nothing.
Sorry. UT all that money for just an extra littlest 160 horse power!! He'll no I mean I have a musthang 2022 5.0 gt . Front factory I have 458 hp and I know because I did the test and that is what I have under the hood.
