No matter how well you explain it they never will understand. I love your channel. You put forth the most honest, down to earth, understandable content about what is happening to our fisheries than anybody. Abraham Lincoln, among others- Keep up the great work, Randy! I am about the same age as you and can relate to most of your earned wisdom. Unless I really do not like a video, I usually like most every video out of respect for the time and thought influencers put forth in creating content. I enjoy hopefully negating people's dislikes. I think that for every dislike, viewers should offer a solution to their issue in a civil manner. I watched (almost didn't) you with Chris on the Bilge and thought you were great. You intelligently handled yourself the whole time. I gained even more respect for you and that made me like you even more! I apologize for the length. 🔨👏

When asked years ago the difference between hunting and fishing, I explained it like this: In Hunting you can see your prey, its trails, monitor its movements visually, select your target. In fishing, you cannot see your prey, you are relying on instinct and past seasonal successes and recognizing the signs nature provides to use to your advantage. You can't see your quarry. Nowadays you can toss that analysis out the window. Call me old school but this forward facing technology takes a certain level of skillsets that takes years to aquire and renders them useless. Today they call that progress. Pretty soon, you will just send your boat, your rods and your lures to go fish for you while you sit in a hotel waiting to see "how you did".

Hey Randy, I have watched every video you ever made. When it comes to bass fishing you’re a national treasure and we’re lucky you share so much with us. I don’t agree with everything you put out but that’s okay you have the experience. I recently bought a new, to me, boat. It has a modern upgraded FFS unit. I don’t like it. Anyway I won 1 tournament last year. It was the one when we left the graphs, by accident, in the garage and we just went fishing.
Its imo like: They have to Pass Gas 😅 Which all started with some level of Urge from the Internal 😮 First you have a 'funny' noise and a increase of 'fun' because it 'seems' smart🙄 Then someone or something comes to realise that Fun, Smart and Urge (demand) do NOT age very well overtime.😢 BUT hey somebody has Farted during the process 😂 Aaand you can't get it back. 😔 And thats Their contribution in life,...to Mankind and their Surroundings 😊 We can only TRY to Educate, wisdom to the Wise 😬 Do not get Attached to often (at ALL) Time, Place and Surrounding are only Imaginary and can be (will be) changed Instantly 😎🎣👌 Exhale, Relax and Move on 😋👍
I don't understand haters. I'm 30 years old, and I would love someone like Randy and his experience and opinion to help be a better angler. Stay true to what you do, Randy. We need people like you doing the conservation part of fishing. People now a days are all about results "most fish""biggest fish" ect. But never think down the line of the impact it does to the environment. This is point blank people, there is a reason why it's illegal to shoot deer at night with night vision and why there are limits on a harvest.

Only reason I fish braid to floral on my spinning rods is because I get real bad when knots in my straight fluorocarbon the braid keeps me from getting knots in my school. Can you teach us or teach me how to not get a win knot in my foreign carbonbecause I would rather run straight floral it’s cheaper and I don’t have to keep tying on leaders

Hello Randy, I have wanted to say this for a long time. You fished with my stepdad years ago, along with Roland,Rick, bill and many more. You were always his favorite because you were always down to earth and pushing yourself to learn more and be a better angler. I was lucky to spend time with him before he passed. Because of him I to think like both of you. I don't want live scope because I am going to push myself to be better. There are a lot of damn good anglers everywhere, some use it some don't. We are all students of fishing and we all want to be better and learn from each other. Your a great man and thank you for being who you still are, one of the best in my book. One thing I cannot agree on is the age thing. I know some older guys still competing in northwest tournaments and they incredible. We are never to old to learn and never to young to start. I wish more anglers had and open mind. Take good care of yourself.

I don't understand haters. I'm 30 years old, and I would love someone like Randy and his experience and opinion to help be a better angler. Stay true to what you do, Randy. We need people like you doing the conservation part of fishing. People now a days are all about results "most fish""biggest fish" ect. But never think down the line of the impact it does to the environment. This is point blank people, there is a reason why it's illegal to shoot deer at night with night vision and why there are limits on a harvest.

I’m with you about live scope, I don’t fish tournaments anymore because I’m not paying someone else’s boat payment. I want a chance to catch fish and they want the chance to avoid me. Curious as to why you only cherry pick the ad hominemic comments and never pick any that are legitimate, thoughtful, erudite comments that are just contrary to your OPINION. It seems that if you really want to make valid points about your opinions, you would choose to address those and also engage in thoughtful discussion and debate. You're not washed up, I watched you back in the 1980s, and you were very respected by the bass fishing community ! I understand what you're saying about age, I'm 58, and the body doesn't always want to do what the mind tells it to do. But you're still as competitive as you were back in the day ! Keep teaching ! Randy I have a serious question. Only reason I fish braid to floral on my spinning rods is because I get real bad when knots in my straight fluorocarbon the braid keeps me from getting knots in my school. Can you teach us or teach me how to not get a win knot in my foreign carbonbecause I would rather run straight floral it’s cheaper and I don’t have to keep tying on leaders

Hello Randy, I have wanted to say this for a long time. You fished with my stepdad years ago, along with Roland,Rick, bill and many more. You were always his favorite because you were always down to earth and pushing yourself to learn more and be a better angler. I was lucky to spend time with him before he passed. Because of him I to think like both of you. I don't want live scope because I am going to push myself to be better. There are a lot of damn good anglers everywhere, some use it some don't. We are all students of fishing and we all want to be better and learn from each other. Your a great man and thank you for being who you still are, one of the best in my book. One thing I cannot agree on is the age thing. I know some older guys still competing in northwest tournaments and they incredible. We are never to old to learn and never to young to start. I wish more anglers had and open mind. Take good care of yourself.
