The ballistic seemed fun, but i personally didnt like it. Love the build! Glad to see more people out doing bot missions and loadouts for that!
My go-to load out is 500kg, Autocannon, Rocket Sentry, Autocannon Sentry, Thermite grenades. I use the sentries as cover fire at objectives and for distractions to move enemies away that may be blocking the direction I need to go. 500kg and thermites to handle fabricators. Autocannon can drop most heavies if you known where to place your shots, and in a pinch I can use the thermites instead for heavies like Hulks and Tanks.
I’m glad I’m not the only one who started using crossbow on automatons, that thing takes out enemies like crazy! And it’s reserve ammo makes it def worth it
For automatons I like Plasma punisher, the revolver, and thermites. For strats I go with HMG, Jump pack, rocket sentry and ems mortar. The rockets optional, anything could work there like an eagle or an orbital. Jist of it is HMG wrecks everything, jump pack gets me over their dumb canyon wall fortifications and sentries back me up. The plasma handles anything as well, literally knocking striders off their feet if I have teammates or clearing swathes of the commissar types. Pistol I never use I just have it in case i'm out of ammo, nades help with anything heavy, factories, hulks, factory striders. I use the grenade armor to give me a few extras and make the HMG not miss so much. Run up -> crouch -> HMG and blow everything away -> rinse -> repeat. Wax on...Wax off...
For full map solo clears, it's always autocannon, expendable anti tank, 380, and rocket sentry. This allows you to hold your ground well, with great dps between the autocannon and rocket sentry. It really helps to cover your reloads in the big fights. It can even bring down bot drops. The 380 is for fortress clearing, and the expendable is an obvious choice. With all ship upgrades its 2 rockets every 60 seconds, and after the buff, you'll easily be one shotting hulks and bot fabricator from 150+ meters
Yo dude you should try laser cannon. shine it in a hulks eye for 2.5 seconds and they die. It takes a little longer for the factory striders but they die!
LC got nerfed hard in the update because they increased base health, it takes forever to kill cannon towers, tanks, etc. Honestly I think the Railgun might be a better choice
@@nurgle333 auto cannon two taps them insanely fast, definitely faster than 2.5, but it's up to personal ability to fight strong recoil. I think it has a higher skill ceiling, and allows you to close fabricators from 200+ meters.
Laser Cannon is good at lower difficulties, but not the 8-10 diff now, the ttk is too long compared to other mid-pen weapons and you can't stagger any units with it, which can be quite deadly in high difficulty bot games. I did hear people say it's good at bug front now, but I haven't tried it yet.
I believe he said this is helldive but I haven't seen enemies swarm even half as much as they do on suicide mode. Is this a result of the solo gameplay? So they cut out 75% of enemies? That would make Sense but also makes helldive and super helldive semi easier as a single player, than suicide mode is for 4 total players
The more botdrops you trigger the more enemies spawn as patrols, people in 4man tend to trigger the entire map But let it be known Full Map Clear solo is harder than FMC 4man
Yk before the buffs i wouldn’t even look at these weapons or back pack’s but i gotta say there are some powerful primary’s and stratagem weapons rn so experimentation is fun again I personally never gave the mechs any thought but using them with the mentality of saving ammo by using a recoiless any time you can is very nice
Crisper makes sense. Use it to run away. Medium armor penatration, crowd control, fire dots & one handed. One handed weapons stay accurate when you shooting behind yourself in general. If you get overrun, switched weapons & run away while drawing a line of fire along thair path. melting all the berserker at once.
It's honestly insane, it almost trivialises difficulties below 8 if you aren't goofing around. I wouldn't be sad if it receives a nerf, but I'm very pleased with where it is. It's my absolute top pick for 8+ and I'll take an smg for 7- to make it more challenging
I mentioned this on a previous vid, but if you want the thermites to stick more frequently, cook the grenade until the spikes stick out. I've never had them bounce off of my targets. If you are using the quick grenade bind, just hold the throw button for a bit longer.
man no joke, like 50% of bot missions consists of serendipitously avoiding damage. If you're able, record yourself playing an 8+ (so you get rocket striders) with bots and take note of how many times you avoided getting drilled by auto crouching to reload, or glancing at the map to see you're going the wrong direction and then pivot right as some rockets streak by, etc.
This load out right here is it… I was struggling against those damn bots all night last night till I whipped out the shield and crossbow duo, doesn’t get any better
I use the pummeler with the shield and the stagger on shield devastators is so awesome. Combine it with the expendable anti-tank or the commando rocket launcher and you have a pretty fast loadout. The blast resistant heavy armor makes you into an absolute tank.
Perfect game, The only reason I hate tornado planets? The fact that no matter what, no matter when...If you call extract? Your base is getting fuckin SWARMED with fire.
I like this load out - rocket turrets - recoil rifle - 120 orbital - precision Then I like the dominator , dagger , stun grenade but I swap these out as I see fit. If I feel we have good damage I will bring plasma punisher for a crowd control presence. This builds good at dealing with drops and lots of high teir enemies.. I bring this if i feel like my team can’t be trusted and they are going to fight things for no reason.. this way I take care of all the hulks and let them deal with the chaff and have a rocket turret to round out the thing they can’t hit. I even was able to precision strike a factory strider in the face with one recoil shot and took it down saving a lot of resources for the team. If really anything doesn’t strike your fancy here… just use the rocket turret .. a well placed rocket turret can just tear things to shreds
Medium padded armor. It's huge! The vitality booster negates some of the extra damage we take after the patch. But, we're still extremely squishy from the damage reduction debuff they added to the players. Medium armor is all right. But, bumping it up with padded is outstanding. More survivability than the medical perk gives. It's the heavy armor rating combined with the medium armor speed and stamina regen.
Hey, hopefully you will see this comment, i just had an idea on how you could beat your maximum kill record pretty easily. You need to go on lvl 10 missions with 3 premade friends whos only job is to spectate. When they land they immediatelly suicide with a grenade and you never reinforce them. They should have 0 kills by the end of the mission and shouldnt have done anything, just kill themselves again if you ever die and the whole squad gets reinforced by default. Will still be technically a solo mission, but some things will be changed about the difficulty. As you know, the more helldivers are on a mission technically, the more patrols and reinforcements spawn. You will pretty much perma face bug breaches and patrols. Sooo, I think its def worth trying if only just for the fun of it and to see how many more ennemies will actually spawn :,) The only things that will make it "easier" on you is the additionnal 3 augments and the additionnal reinforcements, but you can bypass that factor by having them pick useless augments and not allowing yourself to get reinforced more than the usual 5 times if you do want it to be as hard as possible. Altough i dont rly recommend it, as the point is just to kill as many bugs as possible, not to complete the hardest possible mission. ;)
It reliably headshots berserkers, devastators, and fabricators in the weak point (head/vent). An individual’s aim is what is unreliable. Same with thermite on the belly of the factory strider. Getting the thermite there is the hard part.
try the jar dominator next!! its been quite good. Edit: thanks for the load out, i tried it and it was amazing. Takes a little getting used to cause its a different play style but its a lot of fun!
@@BruhMoment84131 first of all not actually a one shot as it does burn damage and then an explosion so its 2 shots always. Also just tested it. Its 2-3 thermites dependent on if a reinforcement soaks some damage.
I've been rocking the crossbow/amr for a while now. It's nice to see it get crazy powerful now... can even take down gunships in 2 shots if your good lol
Ive been running same laodout except i bring the las7 pistol. The crossbow does blow up fabricators by shooting in the top vents, or one thermite will do it. Just hold the thermite a little longer before throwing, and it will deploy the spikes and it sticks better on enemies in my experience. Thermites are good on the belly of the factory strider also if you find yourself in that position
I've been workshopping a fire loadout for the automatons cause I like watching them burn. So far I have Scorcher primary, Grenade Pistol, Quasar, Heavy fireproof armor, Napalm Barrage, Shield Generator Pack, 500 or Airstrike, and HMG Emplacement or Orbital laser for when situations get hairy. It's alright, definitely needs some work, but I have fun with it.
I ran a similar loadout a long time ago. I uses the Railgun and EATS/AutoCannon Sentry so i can deal with bots on the ground and the occasional gunships. I then paired thE shield with the Pummeler SMG for the secondary concussive effects to slow bots down
My go to is similar. Swap the verdict for the senator or the dagger. AMR is subbed with quazar. Orbital lazer and then a glex slot. Sentry sometimes, orbital smoke othertime. !
Where were all the bots? Nothing like my level 10 bot maps. Usually non stop fighting from start to finish with endless drop ships, gun ships, striders, tanks, rocket tanks. U got one tank and that was it? 😂
@TheChannel1978 Spawn rates increase if you destroy outposts, complete the main objectives, and are near the extract zone. I don't remember if doing side objectives increases spawn rate. In this match he didn't destroy many outposts. Plus if you keep moving and don't get bogged down you give spawning patrols less chances to aggro you.
Honestly, looks incredibly solid. One of the primary complaints about bots was that the optimal strategy to beat them was to explicitly avoid and stealth around them. But now that we have good weapons, that's no longer entirely necessary and now it's easier to just outright engage the bots. Right now, favorite loadout is Engineer armor, Crossbow, Dagger, Thermite Grenades. 500kg Ballistic Shield AMR Flex slot, sometimes I run 380mm for softening bases up
The autocannon turret would be a good choice over the 120 barrage for your playstyle. I think you would get more use out of it and it would take some agro for you. Using the crossbow to get through fences and the snipper to kill lone berserkers would speed things up considerably. Is stealth armor worth having over another armor? I'm thinking armor that would either give you more thermite grenades or let you throw them further and flatter for more accuracy would work better with the aggressive playstyle... but all of the better solo players seam to run scout armor, so idk lol
It's largely useless. Just bring an energy shield backpack instead. If you're going to be engaging enemies at range (why wouldn't you in a stealth build), the ballistic shield isn't going to have much utility. If we could plant the fucking thing in the ground and use it as cover or to hide, that would be one thing, but we can't, so it's pointless.
For bots I usually run sickle (can kill scout striders if u shoot their rocket), grenade pistol, and thermite. For stratagems, 500 kg, 380, railgun, supply pack or 500 kg, 380, rocket sentry, and arc thrower. I use the light medic armor for +2 extra stims/duration.
I had someone in team play laugh on Super Helldive cuz I had the crossbow I went ahead and had 325 kills on my own. The most on the team. Hopefully that resolved his doubt. Crossbow Las dagger Med +Grenade passive armor with Thermites Recoilless rifle
This is basically my build except I bring the laser pistol so you have something with you with infinite ammo just in case. The Dagger is actually really solid now. I also usually take the 380 instead of the 120.
25:32 IRL, that AMR (30lbs) + Ballistic Shield (30lbs) + 6 AMR magazines (5lbs each = 30lbs). You'd be carrying at least 90lbs of weight on a Helldiver (male) who looks 200 lbs tops, soaking wet. Weak jump is totally justified.
I did try it, also the crossbow and the shild, i did like the degger and the quasar for taking out bases since they have hp now and not need to be hit inside the door or vent
OI!!.... Almost exactly my build. Except. Jump pack and trying new gas orbital buff. And i use peacemaker, dont have that pistol. Even the armour. Same helmet, light armour. But i use explosion resistance, armour i got looks really good. Think got from market. Xbow so good, 2-3 shots all destroyers in aoe & takes out factories. sniper 2 shots ATAT'S and can deal with hulks & artillery at distance, buffed thermites do more reliably at close range. Funnily enough, only weakness is little bots. Can be hard to hit individually, what the peacemaker deals with. (I like my jump pack, get out of situations, sneak over walls, get on rocks for covered high ground. Does need buff though, bigger jumps more often.) My play style more stealth scout objective based with sniper cover fire. And survival. Usually least deaths of anyone.
@@synnical77 I was clearly referring to the vent killing. They made them easy as hell to kill now, but vent shooting specifically is easiest with the eruptor and the crossbow is pretty close to that.
Crossbow has been getting buff after buff ever since it's release from being worse than plasma punisher to being equal / better than launch eruptor. :P
I use similar build Primary, crossbow Secondary, laser pistol Nade, stun Ballistic shield Laser cannon for everything 500kg And gas strike to confuse when too many Armour, medium - medic armour

Appreciate how you always review loadout
You can destroy Fabs with the Bow, you need to hit the vent
Laser Canon is the best overall for bots imo
LC got nerfed hard in the update because they increased base health, it takes forever to kill cannon towers, tanks, etc. Honestly I think the Railgun might be a better choice
@@nurgle333 auto cannon two taps them insanely fast, definitely faster than 2.5, but it's up to personal ability to fight strong recoil.
I think it has a higher skill ceiling, and allows you to close fabricators from 200+ meters.
ive always enjoyed the laser cannon but recently ive been missing the lack of stagger since almost everything staggers slightly now
Laser Cannon is good at lower difficulties, but not the 8-10 diff now, the ttk is too long compared to other mid-pen weapons and you can't stagger any units with it, which can be quite deadly in high difficulty bot games.
It’s level 10. Look in the top right hand corner. I feel like it has to do with the scout armor too? Just a hunch.
The more botdrops you trigger the more enemies spawn as patrols, people in 4man tend to trigger the entire map
But let it be known Full Map Clear solo is harder than FMC 4man
Yk before the buffs i wouldn’t even look at these weapons or back pack’s but i gotta say there are some powerful primary’s and stratagem weapons rn so experimentation is fun again
I personally never gave the mechs any thought but using them with the mentality of saving ammo by using a recoiless any time you can is very nice
Nicely done. I like eruptor, dagger, thermite
Mortars, quasar, air strike or 500kg, and orbital precision strike.
Def trying this out looks super fun loadout
That ragdoll into the fire tornado was brutal
The crossbow was already one of my favorite primaries even before the buff. The increased explosion damage and radius is kind of silly.
It's honestly insane, it almost trivialises difficulties below 8 if you aren't goofing around. I wouldn't be sad if it receives a nerf, but I'm very pleased with where it is. It's my absolute top pick for 8+ and I'll take an smg for 7- to make it more challenging
Crouching while you’re blocking with the shield protects your legs.
Good to see people enjoying the game again.
Modifier Idea
Weak Infrastructure
You can't use stratagems in objective locations as they haven't been reinforced and will break.
I mentioned this on a previous vid, but if you want the thermites to stick more frequently, cook the grenade until the spikes stick out. I've never had them bounce off of my targets. If you are using the quick grenade bind, just hold the throw button for a bit longer.
4:44 That first hit, which knocked you down, totally saved you from getting hit by the 3 rockets immediately following it lol
man no joke, like 50% of bot missions consists of serendipitously avoiding damage.
I need to try the Crossbow against the bots. I've strictly been using Punisher Plasma and it's also pretty awesome, but this looks fun.
I like this load out
- rocket turrets
- recoil rifle
- 120 orbital
- precision
Then I like the dominator , dagger , stun grenade but I swap these out as I see fit.
Pavise Crossbowmen: Sci-fi Edition
Sooo, I think its def worth trying if only just for the fun of it and to see how many more ennemies will actually spawn :,)
The only things that will make it "easier" on you is the additionnal 3 augments and the additionnal reinforcements, but you can bypass that factor by having them pick useless augments and not allowing yourself to get reinforced more than the usual 5 times if you do want it to be as hard as possible. Altough i dont rly recommend it, as the point is just to kill as many bugs as possible, not to complete the hardest possible mission. ;)
10:51 nice shot!
Crossbow can sometimes even oneshot Devestators and Berserkers in the head. It is unreliable at doing that tho
It reliably headshots berserkers, devastators, and fabricators in the weak point (head/vent). An individual’s aim is what is unreliable.
Same with thermite on the belly of the factory strider. Getting the thermite there is the hard part.
BABE! A new Takibo vid dropped!!!!!
Literally me to my gf just now 😭
Salt Lake gang 🤙
Same 😂
try the jar dominator next!! its been quite good.
Edit: thanks for the load out, i tried it and it was amazing. Takes a little getting used to cause its a different play style but its a lot of fun!
You can one shot The factory Strider with the termite if you stick it to the underbelly
How many thermite nades does it take?
@@sonawhite8813 Re-read the comment.
@@BruhMoment84131 he said the thermite.
Not a thermite thats a statement of what weapon to use and not how much.
@@sonawhite8813 "one shot" 😂😂 smooth brain.
All good but can you do this in GAELLIVARE? 🥺
probably recorded before the current MO. iirc Imber had a defense campaign during the last order so I imagine he was helping with that
One of the maps had 4 mortars it's ridiculous lmaooo
ballistic shield + pummeler smg is also fantastic especially if you have other people around you to capitalize on the stun
I've been using that combo since the 17th and it's so cool when you tanking minigun rounds from the atat so your sqaud and send heavy fire downrange
That and standing your ground against the hail of fire from a shredder tank while your buddies shoot it from behind
if you dont run the shield, the CS Diligence is AMAZING vs devastators, 1 tap headshot, 3 shots body and good rpm with plenty of ammo
I think if you aim for the belly/lower abdomen it can even 2 shot them
Slugger, crossbow, and jar-5 with revolver can do this too, but have more damage so.. trash tip basically.
Ballistic shield and Crossbow is SO GOOD.
Something I noticed about the new thermite is that it destroys bot factories from any angle. You just stick it to the outside
I ran a similar loadout a long time ago. I uses the Railgun and EATS/AutoCannon Sentry so i can deal with bots on the ground and the occasional gunships.
I then paired thE shield with the Pummeler SMG for the secondary concussive effects to slow bots down
What's up legend!
Here's a tip, crouch with the shield when fighting the gunners, covers more of you.
My go to is similar. Swap the verdict for the senator or the dagger. AMR is subbed with quazar. Orbital lazer and then a glex slot. Sentry sometimes, orbital smoke othertime. !
Dominator, grenade pistol, gas grenade, light servo assist armor With Railgun, supply pack , precision strike and eagle is my go to setup for bots.
This going to be so beautiful on the pro
Where were all the bots? Nothing like my level 10 bot maps. Usually non stop fighting from start to finish with endless drop ships, gun ships, striders, tanks, rocket tanks. U got one tank and that was it? 😂
Enemy spawn rates are dependent on a bunch of factors, but number of players is the biggest. One player isn't going to see a lot of enemies.
@@fozzibab not what i'm getting, i get a ton playing solo
@TheChannel1978 Spawn rates increase if you destroy outposts, complete the main objectives, and are near the extract zone. I don't remember if doing side objectives increases spawn rate. In this match he didn't destroy many outposts. Plus if you keep moving and don't get bogged down you give spawning patrols less chances to aggro you.
Bot drops immediatley
Scout armor
Honestly, looks incredibly solid.
One of the primary complaints about bots was that the optimal strategy to beat them was to explicitly avoid and stealth around them.
But now that we have good weapons, that's no longer entirely necessary and now it's easier to just outright engage the bots.
Right now, favorite loadout is Engineer armor, Crossbow, Dagger, Thermite Grenades.
500kg
Ballistic Shield
AMR
Flex slot, sometimes I run 380mm for softening bases up
Id definitely drop the secondary for the laser pistol. It’s kinda absurd how good it is now in comparison.
Don’t forget a thermite stuck to a factory spawner anywhere on them will take them out.
It's about time I dropped back into the battlefield
The autocannon turret would be a good choice over the 120 barrage for your playstyle. I think you would get more use out of it and it would take some agro for you. Using the crossbow to get through fences and the snipper to kill lone berserkers would speed things up considerably. Is stealth armor worth having over another armor? I'm thinking armor that would either give you more thermite grenades or let you throw them further and flatter for more accuracy would work better with the aggressive playstyle... but all of the better solo players seam to run scout armor, so idk lol
Lol this loadout slapped when the xbow went 1 handed. Only the brain drains on the steam forum couldn't refused to see it.
Everytime i try the shield out it gets destroyed really quickly by explosions ir lasers. Then i have to wate 5 min for it to recharge.
Shoot from afar before the enemies get in range. Be a sneaky snek
It's largely useless. Just bring an energy shield backpack instead. If you're going to be engaging enemies at range (why wouldn't you in a stealth build), the ballistic shield isn't going to have much utility. If we could plant the fucking thing in the ground and use it as cover or to hide, that would be one thing, but we can't, so it's pointless.
the beserkers are ninjas, they just sneak up on you. hulks too. no walking sound.
Crossbow
Las dagger
Med +Grenade passive armor with
Thermites
Recoilless rifle
This is basically my build except I bring the laser pistol so you have something with you with infinite ammo just in case. The Dagger is actually really solid now. I also usually take the 380 instead of the 120.
25:32 IRL, that AMR (30lbs) + Ballistic Shield (30lbs) + 6 AMR magazines (5lbs each = 30lbs). You'd be carrying at least 90lbs of weight on a Helldiver (male) who looks 200 lbs tops, soaking wet.
Weak jump is totally justified.
Wait till you try the railgun + crossbow combo. Straight insanity.
Does need buff though, bigger jumps more often.)
My play style more stealth scout objective based with sniper cover fire. And survival. Usually least deaths of anyone.
You're using the force when doing terminals lol. Also, is the crossbow one handed?
"Crossbow doesn't blow up factories well" Bro...what? The only thing easier to kill them with is the eruptor. Lol.
Huh? Quasar, Eat, Commando, Airstrike, 500kg - all from anywhere.
@@synnical77 I was clearly referring to the vent killing. They made them easy as hell to kill now, but vent shooting specifically is easiest with the eruptor and the crossbow is pretty close to that.
@@synnical77 Also thermite.
@@awhisperofroses Nothing in your sentence remotely hinted that you were talking specifically about shooting vents.
@@awhisperofrosesClearly in your own thoughts, perhaps. Clearly in your message, lol no.
Take the Arc instead of the rifle and enjoy the combo. You'll herd those packs like a boss.
18:45 "its easier to take out detector towers cuz of the 500 kg bomb increase"
.... *clicks install*
crossbow buff? gotta hop on and try this rn
Crossbow has been getting buff after buff ever since it's release from being worse than plasma punisher to being equal / better than launch eruptor. :P
cross bow is so good
I use similar build
Primary, crossbow
Secondary, laser pistol
Nade, stun
Ballistic shield
Laser cannon for everything
500kg
And gas strike to confuse when too many
Armour, medium - medic armour
How is it that your map is showing you all of the secondary objectives right off the start?
Verdict or senator, which one is better? And ballistic shield and shield backpack?
I have been PREACHING the explosive crossbow for bots every lobby since the update. I was wondering if the ballistic shield would be any good with it. I’ve just been using the shield backpack.
I've been preaching the explosive crossbow ever since crossbow was buffed to be able to destroy bugholes / fabs (replacing eruptor). :P
Hey, by any chance, do you have a second TH-cam channel?. Cause I found one that show Space Marine 2 gameplay and the in-game profile is called takibo. Btw the TH-cam channel is called Steam Hunter.
Id love to play with you Taki, Im just getting into the game and just to level 10 and struggling so hard.
Game of the year
11:15 you're aq MUCH better playerr than I am, but still, quick tip: if you have 3/4 stims and decided you're gonna pick a resupply up, just use one stim to boost yourself (especially with the experimental infusion booster). Either way you'll end up with 4/4
