the sickle is my main weapon of choice, not having to deal with ammo is really nice, i also have equipped the dagger (laser pistol) for when my main gets too hot, works very well!
People are going to hate me for saying this: the best laser build is to pair them with an eat. Ditch the shield for one. Drop an eat near the start of every bug hole. Use as needed, then pick your laser back up. Personally, i like the lasers. They are party of what feels different from other shooters.
@@OPElvoneI think if the Scythe became M pen, that would be perfect. The sickle being light pen feels perfect to use. It feels like a more ammo friendly liberator. But the scythe (in my opinion) could be the middle ground between the other lasers and the LC
@ make it part of a Light & Magic warbond, where the armor has LEDs and zaps anyone that gets close to you, ( downside is increased detection radius) and a laser marker that guide an orbital weapon.
While I used to love the sickle, I wish it would get a damage buff. Also the Rover is more of a liability at higher levels but great at lower ones running solo or in small groups. Gun rover is better once you get more involved with managing it's ammo. Laser Cannon is cool and might be better with new unflinching, I'd have to test it out tonight but really prefer the versatility of the Queso cannon.
If you're using Laser Cannon, you might as well try using Halt as your main weapon, and abuse the stun rounds. Stun the enemies and then melt them with your laser.
My personal loadout for a laser build is this: Primary: Scythe Secondary: Grenade Pistol Grenade: Thermite Stratagems: Orbital Laser Orbital Railcannon Strike Laser Cannon or Quasar Cannon Shield Generator Pack
Personally I run Sickle with the Senator. Allows both an option to deal with chaff and (smaller) armored enemies immediately on deployment, along with long-term sustainability if away from squad.
That is my GOATed load out as well, the senator is the revolver right? It's great for dealing with more armoured enemies that the sickle has trouble with.
Sickle is a fantastic gun if you run something to deal with Medium Armour, the Sythe is also good with some patience (works great on Bots), but the biggest unsung hero so far was the Dagger, being able to run away from bugs and setting them on fire was very effective especially if you have light armour and can outrun most Hunters The Laser Cannon still feels a bit lacking, if the TTK was a bit higher it truly would be perfect
They have that underrated nature because of how useless they were only up until recently. The Scythe was absolutely useless in base Helldivers 2. It quite literally only had 1 thing going for it. Ammo. Everything else was hot garbage only until recently when now every single gun is viable.

The orbital laser has more use on the bot side, just like the orbital railgun. On the terminate side they are just good to kill the big ones

I used to use it a lot 'til it got nerfed, but its still pretty solid

@@Omegaset Yep, and its the only gun with 4 armor penetration and can 3 shot Hulks in the eye.

yep i dont like lasers because burning enemies dont fill me with confidence the way chunked, beheaded bugs do with an mg or assault rifle
