One of the things I love most about Judge Malian is that she is tough but kind, and she bases her rulings on applicable law. Judge Judy just renders her opinions of the moment.
I attended a taping of The People’s Court back in 1999 when Judge Jerry was the judge and the show was taped at the MTI Studios in NYC on the 8th Floor.
I always thought Judge Milian went to her chambers between cases but actually she hangs out in that little room by the courtroom door and just walks in when the next case starts?
Hi and thanks for asking! It was the start of the pandemic and he took his personal laptop backstage to give us a tour. It is definitely not professional quality, as you said, but it was an opportunity to get the private tour. Hope you enjoyed it!
Actually it was recorded on a laptop during the lunch break of a show taping. The crew was taking their break and the Executive Producer was kind enough to record a backstage tour. Thanks for your interest! We’ve got more backstage footage coming soon.
This is great. I hope they return to live audience because I’ve been watching the show for years and this is on my bucket list.
I think this is the best court show been watching for years
Agreed! I love it too. :)
I really like her. The addition of the segment with she and her husband reviewing the case and some personal things is wonderful.
You didn't show us the hallway that litigants go through after speaking to Doug. Where do they go to meet Douglas to sign some papers???????
YESS!! this is what i wanted to see LOL
RIGHT! That's what we want to see. 👀👀👀
they go to the mens rm.

I agree!
Mmmmm I feel like that’s more of Mathis. Judy maps things out herself more so but she can be quite the butt-hole at times 😂
judge Judy doesn't follow any state law she goes by common sense according to her
I love this so much. I watch all the court shows all the time and I have for years now. Thank you soooo so much for sharing! ❤️

I hoping they will be the court audience back next season.
$250,000 studio cameras and this is broadcast in 720p. C'mon man?
Love watching it am hooked / we’re done they go to Sign documents 😊
It's nice to see what's behind the scenes.
Thanks for sharing.
Warm hugs from katrinka in the San Francisco Bay Area
So glad you enjoyed the video, Katrinka!
When are you getting your audience back? Love this show. Love Marilyn Milian and of course Douglas ❤️❤️❤️
Someone has a crush on Douglas. 😂
Steve. To Marilyn Milian I love you forever and always. 🥰😍💕💞💓💗💕💞💓🧡💕💞💓💓🌹🦋🌹🦋🌹🦋🌹
I love everything about the show but this video? I will let you Judge it.
When will the show be in person again?
I’m asking the same question when will The People’s Court have it’s courtroom audience again?
Sigh. Probably never. They found it's inexpensive in this format. No flights, hotels, food allowances.

I don’t know why the losing party should be unhappy. If they owe a judgment the show pays for it
Because they're still losing.
I like Judge Milian, she is not mean like Judge Judy, and not goofy like Judge Mathis.
whatd he film this on an ipad? why is it so blurry

Will it ever go back to normal??
thank Good Lord he's coming back soon!
Will they have audiences and in person again and not just milian and doug
Hi Andrew, I don't think they've decided yet....but I will ask! Thank you for your question.
Why do an inside the courthouse show now?
You should have done this prior to the "pandemic."
To bad this was filmed on a potato..

@@INSIDETHESHOWS I was thinking it was done with an IPhone, those always tend to compress the video, or screw it up somehow.
