You missed the part where Excalibur has to re-do this bossfight another 26 more times just to get all the drops.
This deserves way more likes

Where is the Raiden Chassis? I haven't got it yet.
Ah yes, legendary 11,11% drop chance for Murasama blueprint
Only 26? Lucky guy
Excalibur's Viper being out of ammo is the single most accurate thing in this video
I couldn't relate more!

Maybe if he had carrier with him he would still be shooting
Frickin akvipers dude. I got a riven for it... It was so bad I had to keep it. It was like 50% magazine size 70% crit chance and negative 117% crit damage. I'm shooting blanks!
Lol using the viper first time felt like that 😂
The fact that the Twin Viper's ran out of ammo so quickly is hilariously accurate to in game
as someone who used to use the Twin Vipers back when I was like MR5, I got ptsd from Excal pulling out those wretched things.
For a split second I thought I was playing Warframe again when I saw the gun empty.
And then there's twin grakata modded for fire rate. Ammo is gone within a minute if you don't have carrier with an ammo mod on you.
yeah, I am surprised they used such a weak secondary as his main weapon. I mean they are fun, decent secondaries with the right build but are never going to hold out for an extended firefight.
frr
Should have added a HUD display showing that Excalibur unlocked the blueprint for Raidens blade
Nah fam he'd have to come up with a loadout to oneshot Raiden 26 times before unlocking the blueprint
nah. he got the handle. the blueprint is a 3% drop rate
That would of given fans the wrong idea

They also seem to have forgotten that ride and has an armor breaker sword, longsword, machete which sacrifices length for speed, and a wooden sword. Also why didn't ride and just crush a smoke grenade or two, take advantage of how he can move a bit more than one third additional speed then his opponent to then get behind them, they don't seem to have any other Vision other than red green blue, I know plenty of infer information was left out from riding Spectrum like the fact she can keep Ripper mode going with more electrolytes and how he can also come back from 0% endurance five times you think a repair Nano paste kit thing. Also what was stopping riding from dual wielding bloodlust? What's stopping him from pulling that one out of thin air like dystopia and the pole arm and using either of those blades as a replacement? They should be a heavier hitter because they are dealing with more mass, and are all so longer, and even swinging backwards would have some Merit because not only can you still brace upon the back of the blade if the enemy forces your blade back at you, you can also place your hand on the back of the blade to get some extra Force if you ever need that, and well yes it is kind of spiky- this is ignoring all of ridings Feats of durability and that he survived the Exorcist destroying attack without a scratch on him and this is without getting any upgrades to endurance. Also there's the fox blade where if the enemy is armored, they will be cut through as if their armor was made of blue due to having hit the armor prior to cutting through it. Also depending on how much you have upgraded the armor breaker sword then you can indeed acquire even higher chances for the armor of an enemy to be broken which would make it even more Kryptonite towards robots then the standard high frequency blade, and you could argue that doctor would let ride and have the store that can unleash 3 billion volts of electricity which would fry the organic components of the warframe, and anything technological should have its circuits be fried. And Ryan cut through stuff that is stronger than what the warframes are built out of. Because they're made out of metal and human, now you give me one thing on human that could actually stand up to any metal as it is, and you give me any metal that is stronger than carbon nanotubes. So you tell me why that Warframe would be stronger than any opponent that Jack has faced? Also any strength Feats could also be increased because Ripper mode and they've already acknowledged that it does increase strength, but because the carbon Nano 2 within riding canning need make him even stronger when it comes to receiving damage then he should have his strength seats be multiplied by two as you can double your strength within the game, and well even if they didn't acknowledge that he has any spare blades, what was stopping riding from stabbing his opponent with the dystopia? Or swinging around that arm staff? What's even stopping him from using bloodlust? He could just dual wield them as it is built into bloodlust to be either new wielded or it can be connected to the other one into a pair of scissors basically. And they also both tampered with the results of the fight, if he did think to use the Box and then it would appear as if Excalibur was not going to check it without getting prompted by wiz, but that seems like it wouldn't even be there without Boomstick and this also sent him off of a building which is can bring with the results of the fight as well. There should be a rematch even if the only difference is location, or that the results do not get changed - location would probably change pretty much nothing and they might have left this stuff out because Jack would have won and this is a sponsored video. But who's to stop them from doing another rematch, who's to get them to do the rematch, it was still a fun video at the end of the day.
He got the Murasama tho
Imagine how Raiden would be screwed up if he faced a warframe controlled by tenno who had more than 2 Mastery rank and played long enough to change colours of his warframe.

waframes are modified humans just like raiden

Agreed I loved this episode
I kinda on the other side of this. I LOVED the banter leading up to it, but I thought having wiz and boomstick interrupt the battle even if its just for entertainments sake made me kneejerkingly think interference. Maybe if they have in character commentary as they watch from the screen MST3K style or something, but that and how the sponsor kinda felt pushed in more than usual felt bias even though im sure it wasnt. Everyone says DB is bias when their favorite character gets an L but as a non MGS player or warframe player at face value I go away with the impression of that looking like a thing that tips the scales unfairly. Again not saying it really does just looks like it as a byproduct. Still keep experimenting Death Battle!

I mean technically the power stat is concerning their space-magic powers, however since part of Atlas' space magic is "Punch things extra hard" and part of Excalibur's space magic is "ALL THE SWORD, ALL THE TIME" I can see why it *felt* like it could be a metric for physical force exertions; but the technical analysis side of the Warframe breakdown was hilariously off-base. Not that it changes the fight's outcome, but there's a bunch of stuff they just ignore or get outright wrong:
No mention that default warframes also all have personal forcefields, or that forcefields in Warframe are explicitly strong against attacks that are highly effective at penetrating or negating armour... Shields are strong against armour-penetrating weapons, and armour is strong against shield-penetrating weapons in Warframe. These shields will also regenerate if the Warframe is able to avoid being hit for a couple seconds. While Warframe shields are less vulnerable to shield-defeating damage sources, I'd ignore that as it was done that way strictly for "because you're the player" reasons rather than for a lore reason.
The exalted blade is not just an energy sword, it releases an energy wave with each swing, which has infinite range and punch-through (explicitly can hit enemies through cover, or in completely different rooms through the wall, where not all abilities can ignore scenery) Heck, for the longest time there was literally no *physical* sword when the Exalted Blade was in use, just a roiling blade of light without even the handle that lightsabers require - just blade of energy projecting from where Excalibur mimic'd the act of holding a sword hilt.
And then there's the fact they explicitly reference the Operator, but don't include the Operator in the fight - despite Operators being able to safely participate in the fights without endangering their lives (best way to describe it seems like we use space magic to project a ghost body into the fight - being "killed" while acting as the Operator causes the Operator's body to vanish like a hologram that's turned-off, and the Warframe (which *tend* to go dead when the Operator acts independently) resumes fighting (though at a slightly diminished capacity as a result of the trauma of the projected "astral body" of the Operator having been destroyed... it would have even been appropriate for the parallel: If Jack the Ripper is Raiden's alter ego, the Operator can be considered a sort of alter-ego to the warframe (sort of; it's complicated *cough* Rhino-Prime's Codex Entry *cough* Excalibur-Umbra *cough*)
And when talking about the asteroid and Atlas, from the way Wiz talks about it, it feels like he pulls the size out his ass. What he should have said was "An asteroid specifically noted to be an extinction-threat to the Earth, comparable to the one believed to have wiped out the dinosaurs" - thus showing *how* the size was arrived at, and why Atlas was punching the thing in the first place. Other references to their power-scaling - Mirage (another warframe) was apparently capable of destroying a capital ship single-handedly when injured. She was destroyed in the process, so it could be considered a potential "Drawing an upper limit" type of feat to be considered for warframe equivalencies. Because Warframes are able to survive without any particular special equipment in space (no resperators or other life-support concessions on the archwings) it's safe to assume it was the space ship exploding that did her in, and not just exposure to vacuum.
Another thing that could have been referenced for power-scaling was the fact that Warframes can briefly endure being within the outer corona of the Sun - which would nominally place Warframes as being approximately as durable as an "average" member of the Viltrumite race - the same people that Omni-man is a member of... though this is only learned by playing a main storyline quest *very* late in the game's meta-narrative, not likely to be accessed before having played for approx. 1000 hours... understandable if the research team for Death Battle didn't learn of this feat of endurance that the player performs. (See the Omni Man vs. Homelander episode)
I wish we had the wall running like in the episode though. It used to work like in this episode when we did wall-running parkour, but DE changed it awhile ago so it looks like we bunny-hop along the walls. Feels sillier than the running was.
Also, one of the weapons that Excalibur ostensibly has access to according to Wiz, in-game, he CANNOT EVER USE. Artemis Bow is the Exalted Bow of another warframe: Ivara, in the same way the Exalted Blade is Excalibur's exclusive and signature sword. No warframe other than Ivara can use it; it ceases to exist when Ivara lets go of it. The Artemis Bow is created from pure will and space magic anew when Ivara summons it.
TL;dr - some of the research was hilariously off. But it would have taken entirely TOO LONG for the research team to independently verify that stuff. And it wouldn't have affected the outcome. Fight looked awesome, both fighters got to show off what they could do, and look good doing it; that was *MORE* than good enough!
@@jasonbarkey6352 A note on the shields thing, the shields used by Warframes are specifically voidshields of a unique type, that's why they don't take extra damage from normal anti-shield effects. Both in universe and mechanically, it's not a normal shield system, its Void hoodo nonsense shields. And then there is Hildyrn, oy vey. It's kind of comedic, I think when they accepted they figured it would be a good match... then the more they dug into it the more they realized it was only a thematic match, the two were just on different scales of crazy. Kudos to the animation work though.

@merc4higher unless another metal gear rising revengance game arises and Raiden get's some galaxy-strength super-power, he ain't winning against a warframe.
What a surprise, the sponsor's character won
@@Viking_Luchador I see your implication but i will say as a fan of both, Exalibur's Exalted Blade is what gave him the win here. Its not metal so the Murasama cant cut it and its powerful enough to cleave through the futuristic hyper durable materials found in Warframe so its definitely powerful enough to cut through Raiden. And if Raiden pushed Excal far enough, theres still the issue of the Tenno being able to project themselves onto the battlefield and fight using void abilities. If they had chosen Excalibur UMBRA, then Raiden would be in a 2v1 because Umbra is sentient and can fight even without the Tenno controlling it using Transference.

True, Raiden has already won two death battles so it was Inevitable for him to lose one. But while the stats and equipment they brought up about Excalibur did seem very overwhelmingly in his favour, the fight was surprisingly close in my opinion, this battle did felt close and fair
@@thewinterweeb6946 DBX can't really be counted since it doesn't have any actual research and is mostly just fan voted, something you can't really rely on when it comes to a match like this. But I do agree that a character who won a match and returns for seconds does have a good chance of losing. Take Shadow the Hedgehog for example. He was first pitted against Vegeta and lost, then against Mewtwo and lost, and then finally Ryuko, which he won. And let's not forget the few rematches, that are NOT Goku vs Superman, and the results were FAR different from the first time. Mario vs Sonic, Link vs Cloud.
I find that as Death Battle continues, the research and matchups are much more accurate and fair, Deadpool vs Mask notwithstanding.
I haven’t played Warframe in nearly two years but this brings me back. Definitely don’t remember Excalibur being that fast. Should have had Raiden be fed to the Helminth and/or showed Excalibur receiving a blueprint for a high frequency blade.
That would have been hilarious and awesome!
Just seeing Excalibur board his ship with the mission results screen would have been great too!
Well I mean it’s kind of hard to pull off in game mechanics as being feats or screen time cut scene as feats, but if they include both to be fair then yes for instance you can fight against the eidolon gantulyst with any Warframe an dodge role or bullet jump away from the star prism attack giant light beam, which would make the reaction FTL, Warframe players can technically block constant lazer beam fire from corporus, it might not look like what we perceive as light speed but likely like dragon ball universe within it it’s really fast especially at Point blank range can be blocked with players reaction time there’s a bunch of loophole feats in game mechanically from enemies that use beams of light such as sentient beings etc

The battle was decided the moment I heard the word 'blackhole'
Well the team prob had to choose a battle that had to look epic while still giving Warframe the victory. I'd say overall they still put up a rad show
@@y0u_called I’m saying
@@y0u_called To be fair, the Archwing used in this fight (Odonata Prime) doesn't have access to said black hole ability (which belongs to Itzal).
That said, Odonata actually has an ability that's arguably even worse for Raiden: Repel. It's an invisible energy pulse emitted from the Archwing that functions like a mix between an EMP (shutting down anything in its effect radius) and a concussive shockwave (violently launching anything within said radius outward while inflicting damage).
Repel has no wind up and propagates to its maximum range instantly (so it can't be anticipated or evaded), completely ignores obstructions (so neither blocking nor taking cover will help), and does not require any form of cooldown (so it can be used repeatedly and rapidly as long as the Archwing has enough energy to do so). Oh, and since every Archwing has the ability to teleport, you can't even reliably stay out of range.
Suffice to say, Raiden was extremely fortunate that the only Archwing power Excalibur used here was Seeking Fire (the homing missiles).
Gonna cry?
Forgot the part where Excalibur has 4 lives due to affinity revivification. Also, the modding capability on his guns further increases his potency.
While I do agree with the outcome, I feel the reasoning was flawed.
For one, the "Power" stat (Edit: which doesn't actually exist, the stat is called "Energy") doesn't determine a Warframe's physical strength (which is pretty much uniform between the various models), but instead refers to how much Energy (which is used to power their various abilities and, with a certain modification, as a secondary health bar) they can store.
Atlas' shattering of the Telamon asteroid was also more done to show his fine control over stone (which is his element) than pure physical might (though he is admittedly also something of a brawler), as the asteroid was already pulverised by his Rumblers prior to him performing the final strike.
Another factor that wasn't brought up is that Warframes aren't technically made of metal. Their exterior shell is comprised of "Biometal" with the insides consisting of nanite-infused organic material, which means that they actually have a composition quite similar to Armstrong's Nanomachines (son). (Citations: The Sacrifice questline, Codex Fragment: Warframes)
There's also the aspect of modding, but I can fully understand why that particular subject was left unmentioned given just how many variables were already being accounted for with just the weapons.
dont forget the void
Agreed with the Atlas feat, that said them saying that even if Excal is 1% the strength of Atlas kinda makes me accept it. I did like the use of the Glaxion though.
They reduced the energy issues with the lotus surging the wf systems which in the introduction was infinite energy for a short time (it was in the old starting stage idk if its in the new version)
@@l4w1nc0l7 Void isn't really relevant here, since I'm more talking about physical capabilities.
Well also don't forget that Excal's sword can cut through literal dimensions and that they can survive direct hits from giant space lasers during the ambulas fight. Although this battle is literally unwinnable for Raiden even if he kills Excalibur tbh, since then he'd have to fight the operator which from what we've seen so far straight up can not die and has weird void super powers that I'm not even gonna try to make sense of, plus can regenerate Waframes if Arcanes were counted.

I think the “power” stat is being misinterpreted as a kind of power level or marker of strength between warframes here. In reality it’s just the base energy/mana pool the warframe has for casting its abilities.
I agree but like they said if escal was 1% as strong as atlas then he'd still be many times stronger than raiden, and I'd say it's fair to say he's somewhat similar.
I mean you could argue that atlas was controlling the earth to shatter it, that he had summoned golems to assist him but even so the scale of the feat is just massive.
The warframes all still pull from the operator's void energy, a nigh infinite chaotic source of energy, which is to say that since they all pull from the same source of energy, it only makes sense that they can all output similar levels of power albeit in different forms depending on the frame.
Eh, I think it's more just working with what is available. Mechanically its just the 'spell strength' stat, but looking at the lore all Warframes have pretty much the same (Infested) base structure. Its supporting Void powers that really divide all but a handful of exotic frames (of which Atlas and Excalibur are definitely NOT). And since Atlas has a 'spell' specifically for punching hard that hits harder with a higher strength...well the chain of logic definitely exists, even if there remains much to debate. Certainly, I think they could have explained some of the logic behind the mechanics and mods more, or how operator's and arcanes provide revive options that severely impact a battle of attrition then keep explaining there are literally hundreds of weapons in the game and they don't all revolve around accelerating pellets of lead or steel or vibrating metallic alloys apart (within the limits of the vibration generator and cutting blade).
@@tellmeninetails5819 Atlas pulled a Saitama, basically, if anyone wants a point of reference.
