- Kentucky Lake in September is feast or famine. On day 2 of the MLF BFL Super tournament we were greeted with rain in the forecast and light winds. 19 boats made the day 2 cut on this Tennessee River impoundment. We left the marina sitting in 14th place. Here's how our day went.

That stretch of riprap going back to the ramp is good. Pulled 14 lbs off of it in 90 minutes about ten years ago. I can thank Luke Clausen for that one lol

@@TheTinHorseMonty yep. Garry Mason showed me that stretch and Luke fished it during Ultimate Match Fishing. Of course that was back when the lake fished better lol. Keep up the good work! Always like seeing your videos 💪🐟

Its been tuff year for me lot of small fish, you got one, no skunk, thanks for sharing and all the info.
I think Kentucky Lake is about 3 years away from being a lot better.
Great job man! Love your content. KY Lake is a challenge if you are not familiar with it, I live just an hour from it and not an expert by any means. I also have only been fishing for over a year now. The learning curve has been steep, but fun. When fishing KY Lake I primarily launch out of Paris Landing, focusing on the bays north of the ramp and on the east side. I recognized one spot you had stopped at. I pretty much target the banks, looking for rock structure. I will say the bridge rip rap can be money on that lake, I've pulled a couple nice bass out of KY Lake on it. Good luck at the regional and look forward to the content!

Sir I have an off question for you. You get the luxury to fish out of many different boats in different weather. What is favorite manufacture of boat you like and least favorite. and why.
Great question. I really like a Vexus for the deep storage bins. I prefer a single console for rod management n leg room. Most 20 foot or larger glass boats are set up nice. A Bass Cat has limited storage n is not set up efficiently IMO ( at least the ones I've been in). Don't care for a Bullet either.
Just curious... what was the benefit of the boater having all the noodles in the live well? Protect the fish?
Yes. When the boat ride is rough it keeps the fish from banging against the live well lids.
Is your buddy Lance Freeman the same one I've seen recently sentenced for poaching paddlefish?
I'm not sure. This is the first time I've heard this. I hope not.
