When dock/cove fishing at LOZ is the pattern I always throw a lipless crankbait (blue gill) down the center of the cove in the boat channel and perpandicular to the docks before leaving. Many bass are staged there waiting to go into the docks and smack the gills. Just a little advice from someone who fishes there a lot. Nice video.

Good job. I used to fish tournaments on the Lake of the Ozarks in the 70s and 80s. The best I ever did was a buddy tournament and we got 3rd place. Fishing out of PB 2. It was a different lake back then. Dock fishing is tough. You both did very well.

Nice job! I fished this BFL as my first ever! Caught 2 for 2-14 lb and had one get away at the boat! Had some other opportunities where they would follow out from under the dock then see me and turn away. Was such a fun experience though! Plan on doing more in future!

I fished behind Donavan in a Costa at LOZ about 5 years ago. He was very tough to fish behind as a co-angler. It got frustrating at times but I stayed focused and caught 1 fish with an hour to go that was 4lb-8oz.

Ya it was close. I use a jig head that a buddy pours for me. 3/16 oz with a 4/0 hook. It's a wide gap.
