My friend and long time subscriber Darius took me for an early August trip on Kentucky Lake. We had the perfect conditions to get on a good topwater bite! It paid off! One thing I want to stress in this video is the amount of smaller, healtheier bass we caught! Kentucky Lake has been struggling but the future looks bright! Lots of healthy bass and too be honest it was pretty encouraging! Lots of great signs on the lake! Links to the bait and stuff below!

Normally I would say some fancy overpriced topwater like the Shower Blows (which I love) but I have been killing them on the Berkley Bullet Pop. I love those Owner Sniper Neko hooks. Have u tried those VMC Crossover Rings?

I was using 17lb fluro in the video. I don’t really recommend that. Go with 17lb mono

Where can i catch small mouth on Kentucky lake if never fish it and I'm going up there next month i don't want the exact location just witch end do i need to be on
LBL side main lake points and gravel bars. Places where shallow water meats the deep water. Gravel transitions
