    Its 14.9V initial charge until it reaches 14.9V trigger voltage that is when the second voltage kicks in of 13.80V. So, the charger would need two different charge voltages. Charge and float.

    I did burned out one blue colour identical xl4015 module when tested current output . I think problem was connecting test lead when module was powered on . Test lead made sparks . xl4015 started overheating . I have 9AH battery , I set current to 2.25A

    Hi since you invited questions can you answer this one, you said lead acid shouldnt be fast charge since that can be dangerous, now there are millions of cars around where the alternator gives out at least 70 amps, these dont current limit which means the battery gets the full current minus what the car is using, the question is have you ever heard of a car battery expl*ding from been overcharged?

    • @Electricquantism402
      @Electricquantism402  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      an alternator charges what is needed by the battery and the electrical load, if the battery is fully charged and the load is light the alternator will charge just enough to keep up with the load, a high output alternator means that it can deliver a high output if needed. High output has nothing to do with the volts, it means it can charge higher amps than a low output when needed. Also its voltage is some little over 12v rather than 14v which damages the battery by overcharging it.
      Just as a vehicle will not be faster or use more fuel with a full tank than with a tank that is only half full the high output alternator will not deliver more amps when not needed.

    • @dantronics1682
      @dantronics1682 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Electricquantism402 Exactly that an alternator give out whats needed by the battery, if the battery needs 50 amps it will deliver that, I notice you mention voltage been little over 12v but if thats the case put a clamp amp meter and the battery and a volt meter, start the car and see what readings you get.
