Sadly, Big Boss must've been a very,very poor writer for taking into account Solid Snake's inexperience. Now look what the poor kid did. He blew up most of the Outer Heaven stage and got Venom and a good portion of the staff killed
In this game (Metal Gear 1) enemies have a single line infront of them as vision . So when Solid Snake's hitbox has contact that single line of sight the alarm goes off and the alert mode activates .
Let's make Metal Gear even weirder than it already is: The real Big Boss died in MG1 and the fake one managed to get surgery to remove the horn (he didn't die because of the technology in the 2000s) and he's the one who appears in MG2 and MGS4!!!!!!!

Interesting the player mentions "a release date has been set for the phantom pain" in this. And then we find out the main character from phantom pain, Venom Snake/Big Boss, is this Big Boss you fight and kill in this game.
It pains me every time seeing Venom Snake dying after playing so much MGSV with him as the main character. He never get to meet Quiet again, his Diamond Dogs are not with him, don't know if D-Dog is ok, all his life devoted to Big Boss.... Damn it.
Camp Master Noob yeah it is pretty usual for the people who love to play Metal Gear like it's meant to be played. I remember playing MGS4 with only Tranquilizer gun (I use Mosin Nagant and non-lethal rounds of Shotgun for boss levels only) and still at the end of the game I would have so many guns and ammunition rounds which I never used.

He was basically no shit hinting that HE was the developer of the Metal Gear. So who handed off his work to Drago after his death?
Huey Emmerich probably was the one. He is the one who made Sahelantropus and Zeke, and later on his son made Rex. Seeing how things ended up with Diamond Dogs, it is most likely he gave them to him, wich made Drago a target for Outer Heaven.
Oh God, Kojima just HAD to get his plug at the credits in the end.. This game sucks, I mean it didn't explain what to do, broken boss fights, totally not my fault. Lets just say this is not a game made for the modern era. #kojimaworldorder.

A year late but going into the truck to the right brings you back to building 1 courtyard. Going through the door on the left brings you into a room with just a pit fall. In both cases Big Boss is trying to sabotage Snake since he's nearing the end of the game
My question is How on EARTH do you actually beat this games back in the day? it was all trial and error Trial and error. there's little to no Help from the actual Support team. i've only tried to beat it once a couple of years ago but it came a point that i didnt have the "class" enough to access a door cuz i hadn't got all the POW's. and it was like UGH. i do wan to try em again, but now im just gonna do a chronological playthrough of MGS 3 Peace Walker And V (il watch the movie of Portable ops) cuz i don't own a psp.
I think he was just showing the entire story of the game, if he wasn't than he wouldn't have sat through all the text and would've skipped the story elements.
