DIY CLOUD DOUGH | How to make cloud dough at home | Easy Cloud dough recipe with only 2 ingredients

This DIY CLOUD DOUGH recipe is great for sensory play. Made with non-toxic ingredients you already have in your home, you can make cloud dough in less than 5 minutes and it will provide hours of fun for your little one. In this video tutorial, I show you two options to make your cloud dough. I personally prefer the texture of the second mixture as I feel like it more resembles a play dough consistency. Made with lotion, its able to form together like a play dough but can also crumble like a sand mixture. Sometimes this "dough" is referred to as moon sand.
This recipe is great because it utilizes ingredients you likely already have in your home. I recommend wearing gloves of some sort when mixing your dough with the food coloring to prevent it staining your hands. If you choose not to wear gloves, wash your hands with a mixture of coffee grounds and vinegar to remove most (not all) of the food coloring.
INGREDIENTS: (2 to 1 ratio for both recipes)
VERSION #1
(2) cups of cornstarch
(1) cup of lotion
food coloring (optional)
VERSION #2 (this is the version I prefer most. My kids love them both)
(2) cups of cornstarch
(1) cup hair conditioner
food coloring (optional)
DIRECTIONS:
1. Add cornstarch and lotion OR conditioner to a mixing bowl.
2. Mix until it resembles a crumbly dough.
3. Mix by hand until it forms a dough ball and no longer sticks to your hands.
4. (optional) Add food coloring until desired color achieved.
5. PLAY!!!
6. Store in a plastic bag or airtight container.
CLEAN UP:
1. Wash cloth and warm water. Easy clean-up!!
