DoYouBelieveInIt it's not science and it's not food, eyeballing is fine for stuff like this, chill.
It's not really fine when you're specifically testing multiple recipes to see which is best. How can you say one is better or worse than another when you're not following the measurements properly?? I'm confident that the last one was supposed to have more liquid in it, pretty obvious.
Serhat Tonbul actually it is important for food. Did you not have that whole 'baking is chemistry' thing when you were younger. Cooking does not require exact measurements, but baking hell yes it does. This isn't science. This isn't a chemical change. If anything slime is more scientific than this and you don't necessarily need to follow the exact recipe for that either. For projects like this the measurement are the suggested amounts but as long as you know how much a cup, teaspoon, tablespoon, etc. look like, you're fine. As long as you don't have 2 cups of something you're supposed to have a quarter cup of and a teaspoon of something you're supposed to have a tablespoon of, it should be all and well.
DoYouBelieveInIt That is true. On a "scientific" standpoint I agree. However considering she made all the sand this way, and this isn't a real science experiment, I still say you need to chill. It's not as though she followed the exact instructions for two and then half assed another, her skill in sand making remained the same throughout.

I think she means that she doesn't follow the recipe exactly. She keeps eyeballing measurements rather than using actual measuring cups.

Anais Pays that's something you say on a video where EVERYTHING fails and it's obvious no effort was put into it. Recipes like these don't need exact measurements, it's not science and it's not food. Why you felt the need to comment this on a video where two out of the three things she made worked perfectly I don't completely understand.
i think she means as far as the testing went and if so i agree. i would have liked to see how tall of a structure each recipe could make as well as the sticking to hand factor of each i get that she said the store bought is the best but id like to know how bad each one was and i could go on.
She should've at least cut the shapes to see if they actually fall like kinetic sand

This is what baffled me -- I rewound to check; they're nearly identical. Did we miss something? Are they made with a different soap, or is it just the amount of water? How can one be so great, and the other have such an apparently offensive texture?
I'm also curious if any of these leave colour, glitter, or sticky soap residue behind on your hands? So much more info could have come out of this video BF!

"What was the point of this video?" Did you even read the title?
