Thanks for the excellent video! I appreciate that you show issues you have and how to handle them as you go. About to do the same with my 1600 Nomad

Thanks for sharing this video. I've got to say that this is definitely one of the better videos on how to do this, what seems to be, a relatively easy procedure. I plan on doing this with my Vulcan 1500 Classic and it appears that it will be the same steps.

That's exactly how I cut mine off, I like how you secured yours on, I used the red lock right, but I did think about using super glue but thought better of it lol.

Hello LP, thank you for the video. I have a questions, maybe you can help. I have a 2007 valcun 900 custom, would this still apply to the 900? If so, could you share a link to the spacers you purchased? Thank you.

Thank you for your comment sir I don't think it would work on the 900 because the 900 has adjustable vales and the 1600 has hydrate lifter's how many miles is on the bike?

Unfortunately, this is the wrong way to go - the timing chain has been undersized from the first model in '89 to the present day. The chain is getting longer and longer, so it only helps to lengthen the chain tensioner for a short time.
I have had very good experiences with DID chains, they are better than original Kawasaki chains.

There's a tab you have to push in to release the link of the extender
