Looks and Sounds Great.Glad to see you riding the Harley. My Dad would be very proud to see you ,riding her .Larry you are a true friend, Thanks.
@@timmcdonald24 thank you brother for your comment I would love to see you back on his bike and doing some video's with you soon I hope please 🥺
Thanks for taking us along and sharing some of your knowledge. I pretty much won't ride without windshield as the blast from the wind above 55 mph is annoying to me and I seem to be on roads that happens more than not. My Harley Davidsons are a Heritage Softail and a Sportster 1200 XLC Ride on
@@h.wayneb3495 thank you brother for your comment 💯🌟👍 I know what you are talking about and I'm the same way thank you
Dirt roads are not fat cruiser friendly and soft sand😂 call myself checking out a fishing spot under a bridge and just sunk down to the frame in the sand😢
@@SouthernBoyzRyde very true brother and it almost happened to me when I was riding with m and m video from long time ago when I was starting my channel I think the name of the video is riding with m and m the sand was like the sand at the beach ⛱️
@@lp.670 have to go Check that vid out
Don't worry, you'll get used to her. I just happen to think you look better on the bigger bikes. Windshield does look nice though. How does it make you feel? That can be your errand bike and your cruisers for fun and taking me along (lol)! I wish I could touch the pedals and all on the HD. Then I could ride it.😂 Anyway, she's a fun bike, just one of your girls.😊 Thanks for sharing and taking us along.
Looks good and sounds Great Larry glad to see you riding the HD brings back great memories, thank s Larry your a true friend.

@@brettcreech3490 that's great to know because you know where you lay your tools and they are with in arms reach all the time 🌟😎👍 when you need them
So glad you got her going. She’ll be good as gold in no time. Just has to have LP to take care of her. 😊 Good job! LPMcGyver to the rescue. Couldn’t be in better hands. 🥰 !!!
❤ Awe you so sweet 💖 thank you for your comment 👍
Gonna have your hands full on this one, but that’s the fun of it👍
😊 Yes sir brother been busy working on her got more videos on her and she is cute when she is put together 😍🤣 thank you brother for your comment 💯👍
Rode my 24 classic LT to the office and watching this channel. Great bike, great times
Thanks for the excellent video! I appreciate that you show issues you have and how to handle them as you go. About to do the same with my 1600 Nomad
I think you left the "d" out of davidson. Lmao. Smh
@@patpearse5647 sorry my bad I messed up again
The rubber mounts have the engine shake instead of the frame. It's literally the whole purpose...lol
Greetings, sir. Can I ask you a favor? Please show me where it is EVAP(i mean black canister) on this motorcycle. How to find it and clean if I have it
What you're saying about vibration at 45 in a high gear is why I fitted a rev counter. At 45 I am no higher than 3rd gear. Any higher gear at that speed give transmission snatch and a rough ride. On UK back roads I am never in 5th.
Mirror extenders are real cheap on ebay and shift the mirrors out two inches and up one inch - really essential on UK roads, so you can see traffic behind rather than just your elbows. I just bought a 19 inch front wheel too, to get some more rubber on the road on the front. It tracks the tarmac joins with the narrow 21 inch wheel and narrow tyre. Won't fit it till the winter though, I can live with the 21 till then. How does yours start? Mine hits compression and struggles to get over it before starting. New battery and leads fitted too.
I've just started riding the same bike. Mine's a 2004 rubber mount carb model. Took me a few rides out to get used to it but now I'm enjoying it. Fitted a rev counter just because I felt as though I was trying to ride it with the rpm too low and getting some transmission snatch. Otherwise apart from a pillion back rest and rack, and mirror extenders so I can see more than my elbows in the mirrors, its standard. Never had a Harley before, but at almost 69 yoa I wanted something steady but interesting. Its certainly that! Only real issues are the poor brakes and the HOT engine.
doesnt get anymore american than this.
So my only concern with this red kote Is that on my 1600 classic I have 2 small vent holes on the underside of the tank, How do I prevent the red kote liner from clogging them? Because if that were to happen, then there would be no way for that tank to vent it self. Please help.
Well there you go, you are a HD owner! Making her look so pretty. She looks too little to ride double on so I have to start looking for one of my own. I’m still good with riding with you on the big girls though! Looking good LP! 😍👍💯!
LP I’ve been running full synthetic Amsoil for wet clutches [ motorcycle oil] for a long time with no issues it is working well. No disrespect for what you are saying but it’s working for me . Good vide brother. I like the Memphis Shades product.
😊 that is the key word for motorcycles they is a differents full and motorcycle oils full for cars will make your clutch slip for motorcycles it's ok... now the oil that was put in was for a car not motorcycle I hope this helps with what I was saying about the oil thank you for your comment very important to me 🌟💯👍
I didn’t know how much I loved having a windshield until got my Suzuki boulevard year’s ago, specially coming from riding sports bikes, changes the whole perspective of riding at least for me anyway, looking nice!
😊 the same here brother 🌟👍
The acceleration of a 400cc Japanese bike, the handling of a farm implement, the brakes of a S.F. cable-car, the fuel economy of a 1-ton pickup, all complimented by the range of a ride on mower. Where do I sign? 🤣 🤣 🤣
Note, for those whoever have a idle issue spark plugs 1st.. clean/test injectors.. ignition coils. Ignition coils people overlooked
neck bearings are too loose
Lovely motorcycle, my wife has the same one
Good job
We'll have to find a way to figure out how fast you're going. So fun ride, working the kinks out. 😂 I think the cruisers look better on you though. SBR thinks you need to figure out a way for me to reach the peddles so I can ride one. He doesn't know how short I am. 😊 Thanks for taking us along again! Waiting for my next ride. ❤ Love the bikes and you, Or should I say your girls! 😅 Thanks LP. 🎉
❤ thank you for your comment 👍 and very soon ❤😊
I think all bikes speedos are off by 3 to 5 mph, had my gps on my bike and I was running 70 on the speedo gps read 65
😊 I will agree with you brother 💯 and thank you for your comment sir 👍
Unfortunately, this is the wrong way to go - the timing chain has been undersized from the first model in '89 to the present day. The chain is getting longer and longer, so it only helps to lengthen the chain tensioner for a short time. I have had very good experiences with DID chains, they are better than original Kawasaki chains.
@@Juppausempott thank you sir for the information 👍💯 I will have to check it out and thank you for your comment sir 👍

What are some reasons you wouldn’t want to remove them in theory?
Your messing with the A/F mixture on a hard programmed ecu power curve that was tunned with the restrictors in place. Like another mentioned above... your mid range does suffer a little but on highway at top end it doesnt front dive on decel as much(engine braking) Quicker response on throttle but smoothness is obsolete. I have cobra dragsters and a DIY open airbox so im already at max bolt ons lol but the most i noticed is more comfortable top end, 1-2 better take off, mid range 3-4 is suffering but not like "oh crap i need those back in" top gear at 70 and needing to pass i feel like its got enough umph to get around safer.
Well there you go. You have at least one of each of Yamaha, Kawasaki, Honda, Suzuki and Harley. My favorites are the 1600's. Both the Yamaha and the Kawasaki. They seem to fit you well. Just sayin'! But as long as I can ride I don't care!😊 Thanks for taking us with you on your maiden ride on the Harley. Bet you never saw that coming! LOL 😂 Good job LP.

Didn’t mean to send you two messages. But I the relocation kit is not a big deal and with the Dweller bags on my Stateline the bags are a lot closer to the fender and I have a sissy bar on it.
