I'm 5'10, I have the 6.5, with the saddlemen seat it is like 1 inch to low. I get wind on top of helmet. Mr gadget got the 8.5, he is happy with it. He is going to order a saddlemen seat, and says the 1 inch seat height difference will be perfect for the 8.5. He is 5'10 too. If klockwerks doesn't make a 7.5 anytime soon, I will have to order a 8.5 for long distance trips unfortunately.
My problem is that I never throw anything away. A prime example is the shirt that I have on. It's 23 years old. Wore the shirt during the year 2000 Fort Bliss, Texas post run.
I wish you all would make a video on how to measure for one wind Shield without the fairing
I put the 8.5 on 15 SGS and is perfect. Im 6' and with the stock shield i had the wind hitting me right in the eyes.
I'm 5'10", the 6.5 I get wind on top of helmet. 8.5 goes completely over my helmet.
