  • In this video I take my street glide back to my local Harley and have them swap out the klock werks 5" shield for the 6.5" and provide a review. I held on to the windshield for a week and decided that this is the shield I will be purchasing in the near future.

Best windscreen and buffeting video out there and I think I have seen them all. Didn't miss a point and even got to see what it looks like. Also you may want to do some research on the oil used at your 1000 mile service. I think they use Harley SYN3 in all 3 holes? I am hearing that the Harley Heavy Synthetic Gear Oil Part Number: 62600091 to be used in the transmission and primary chain case will take away some of the ''CLUNK'' sound and allow the transmission to shift better. Thanks for taking the time to upload the videos you do.

Thanks for the compliment and the tip. I will definitely look into that.

Hey, fellow Pensacola-area native here; you pronounce "oil" the way I do, it cracks my GF up. I was hoping to hear how the 6.5" worked with your lady on the back? I'm looking to get one, but want to make sure my lady is not going to catch the wind, she likes to ride with me. I have the same paint job on my 2021 Road Glide Limited, and I have the fairings with the vents, they are game changers.

She liked it a lot better than the stock windshield. She was getting quite a bit of buffeting since she sits up higher on the back. The 6.5 inch helped to get it over her as well. She is 5'4". Unfortunately I still haven't bought the windshield yet but is on my list to purchase.

@@BanditMotoVlogs Thank. you, the stock windshield is right at eye level and drives me insane looking over/under constantly; she's 5/7" as well as I am, but, wears a half helmet, fingers crossed it works!

Perhaps, might be a subjective thing? This rider says they work equally well but the Klock Werks looks so much better which I would have to agree.

I have looked at theirs but would have to agree with the other comment that my personal opinion is the Klock Werks looks better. But again that is just my personal opinion and that is one of the benefits of riding is that you can make the bike fit your personal style and it doesn't matter if other people like it or not because at the end of the day you do and its your bike. I have heard good things about their functionality though so I will say that.

Had Klock Werks on my last two Harleys and on my current street glide special. All cracked at the mounting holes on the ends in a year. They make them too thin to save manufacturing costs.
