100% agree. Amazing story teller, without "embellishing" or exaggerating beyond what seems totally reasonable (like with details about them backing up and scratching their head in confusion... Little things that probably weren't relayed to him directly but still make perfect sense situationally)
This guy is actually the best storyteller on TH-cam. I subbed and turned on notifications yesterday when I discovered the channel and now I'm binge watching. So addictive, I'm now obsessed with this channel.
@@patricksharp8468 to be fair the first guy warned the people who bought the box. It's not like he said, "Yup, just a regular old box. $50 and it's yours." He told the first couple that the box caused weird shit to happen and they bought it anyway. The second group of people who bought it literally read in the listing something like, "this box is haunted, buy at your own risk," and the people bought it. He gave both buyers fair warning so it's really not his fault that they had bad shit happen to them
this has been the most frightening one yet (for me at least) so, thanks: now I'm also afraid of antique boxes in addition to hiking, swimming, camping, spelunking, buying a new home, walking outside, or going to Bells canyon... groovy

He has a true mastery of storytelling. I can imagine back in the old days where elders would gather children to campfires to share tales of yore. Mr Ballen is bringing back an age old tradition. It truly is amazing that human beings love to share and tell stories. because we are so wrapped up in technology we immediately dismiss a good story for a good selfie. But yes, I am certainly like you Odin and I can respect the mad skillz it takes for him to wrap us up in his storytelling.

Im a security guard and I listen to these at night while I'm driving the patrol car. I listened to this one around 3 in the morning and I started to get legitimately creeped out. Yeah I saw some videos about it explaining it was a made-up and didn't really happen. Not sure what actually happened, I can't prove these paranormal things are not real, so ill be open minded and believe that sometimes these things do happen, but sometimes people like to make it up too. But yeah while I do believe in the paranormal(cause I experienced it before), this might have been another fictional story like many have been around sadly inducing people into believing in hoaxes.

It is like, your arm paralyzed feeling. But your whole body and you hear random noises. and the same thing when it fades like arm paralyzed fade. I just had my eyes closed fuuck that.
I had a few episodes but I was never able to even open my eyes. So I didn't see anything, literally. Didn't hear anything either, but I was able to break out of it. Unfortunately as soon as I started to fall back asleep I was paralyzed again. Finally I was able to wake up from it but I couldn't sleep after that. That was years ago. Seemed to be a phase for me, god willing. I always felt like I was half asleep while trying to wake up the rest of my mind and body.
The first time I experienced sleep paralysis, it was traumatic I don't want to go back to sleep. But after researching about it, it's bearable. The scary thing is whenever I experience it, there is always this black human figure and it's hard to breathe. And personally I experience that when I'm exhausted before sleeping.
I’ve had it on and off for years. It’s awful. I can never open my eyes, sometimes I feel like I can just lift my head off the pillow before it smashed back down again and if anyone saw I’d probably look like I was having a fit. Every time I would hear a really strange and loud humming noise and once I heard a massive flock of birds flying over the house and managed to move when the ‘birds’ were right above my house and it stopped instantly. I only get it when I’m having my spouts of insomnia and it’s only when I’m trying to go to sleep, never when I’m waking up (getting it while waking up is much more common)

What are you talking about? Ending? There cannot ever be an end to Mr. Ballens channel. He will be telling stories to us until at least the next great cataclysm which wont happen until the 2040's. There is much evidence to support a cyclical event that has resulted in the extinction of previous civilizations on earth and was responsible for the great flood written about in the bible. They believe the sun goes micro nova every 3600yrs, blasting its outer shell out into the solar system and causing pole reversals on earth. This has also been shown to occur on other stars... so we still have another 21-22yrs but the prediction is a best guess and can happen anytime between now and then... considering all the evidence found from these blasts, the fact the poles are on the move right now and earth's magnetosphere is out of whack with anomalies all over the planet... I was sewing while listening to this and I heard something behind me that sounded like something was being thrown- so I looked and then I heard something fall at my feet. I determined it was a spool of thread that fell off my sewing desk from my sewing machine vibrating- but I'm not sure what the sound was behind me! It just sounded like it had been thrown for some reason. I'm pretty sure it's just my imagination though- hopefully.

Im having a hard time figuring out if "all" the stories on this channel are based on actual events or just "some" of them. They way the stories are told with such specific detail *screams* "Real", but the incompetence of some of the people with their lack of connecting things together (yes he says in one story, possibly the one about himself and the cabin trip, that the human mind goes to great lengths to convince you that all the latest strange and/or freaky recent events are explainable with science or logic) is frustrating to listen to lol. Why in the actual eff did nobody think to throw the thing into a bonfire? Why would the the guy bring it home after all the stuff at the office? Nonsense. That 1 little missing idea of burning the box, to me makes zero sense, making me think its possible that these stories could have been concocted from inspiration from, idk old rare books barely anyone has heard of, old movie scripts that never got made..etc. But then again, nowadays Milk is reecist so I guess it's very possible that blatant stupidity is now more common than simple reason.

Yeah I saw some videos about it explaining it was a made-up and didn't really happen. Not sure what actually happened, I can't prove these paranormal things are not real, so ill be open minded and believe that sometimes these things do happen, but sometimes people like to make it up too. sleep paralysis is terrifying even without hallucinations so i can’t even imagine how horrible it is to not only see something but get physically hurt
It is like, your arm paralyzed feeling. But your whole body and you hear random noises. and the same thing when it fades like arm paralyzed fade. I just had my eyes closed fuuck that.
I had a few episodes but I was never able to even open my eyes. So I didn't see anything, literally. Didn't hear anything either, but I was able to break out of it. Unfortunately as soon as I started to fall back asleep I was paralyzed again. Finally I was able to wake up from it but I couldn't sleep after that. That was years ago. Seemed to be a phase for me, god willing. I always felt like I was half asleep while trying to wake up the rest of my mind and body.
Had it often, not pleasant but if you know what happens you just stop carrying.
The first time I experienced sleep paralysis, it was traumatic I don't want to go back to sleep. But after researching about it, it's bearable. The scary thing is whenever I experience it, there is always this black human figure and it's hard to breathe. And personally I experience that when I'm exhausted before sleeping.
I’ve had it on and off for years. It’s awful. I can never open my eyes, sometimes I feel like I can just lift my head off the pillow before it smashed back down again and if anyone saw I’d probably look like I was having a fit. Every time I would hear a really strange and loud humming noise and once I heard a massive flock of birds flying over the house and managed to move when the ‘birds’ were right above my house and it stopped instantly.
I only get it when I’m having my spouts of insomnia and it’s only when I’m trying to go to sleep, never when I’m waking up (getting it while waking up is much more common)
I know this is an old video, but J, my man. You make every story you tell so much better than the original writers ever could. Just amazing story telling.

Just watched this in my very quiet house alone, and I was looking over my shoulder the whole time.
I was sewing while listening to this and I heard something behind me that sounded like something was being thrown- so I looked and then I heard something fall at my feet. I determined it was a spool of thread that fell off my sewing desk from my sewing machine vibrating- but I'm not sure what the sound was behind me! Im having a hard time figuring out if "all" the stories on this channel are based on actual events or just "some" of them.
They way the stories are told with such specific detail *screams* "Real", but the incompetence of some of the people with their lack of connecting things together (yes he says in one story, possibly the one about himself and the cabin trip, that the human mind goes to great lengths to convince you that all the latest strange and/or freaky recent events are explainable with science or logic) is frustrating to listen to lol.
Why in the actual eff did nobody think to throw the thing into a bonfire?
Why would the the guy bring it home after all the stuff at the office? Nonsense.
That 1 little missing idea of burning the box, to me makes zero sense, making me think its possible that these stories could have been concocted from inspiration from, idk old rare books barely anyone has heard of, old movie scripts that never got made..etc.
But then again, nowadays Milk is reecist so I guess it's very possible that blatant stupidity is now more common than simple reason.

He did a video on the Russian Sleep Experiment, which is like the o.g. creepypasta, and a lot of the stories in these “top 3” videos are just user submitted first hand accounts to subreddits like r/letsnotmeet. But others are real and verifiable. I take all the ghost and alien stuff with a grain (or a bucket) of salt.
