Reminds me of the other story where the NASA engineer had a demonic spirit in his home, but he hasn't sold the house because he doesn't want anyone else to suffer through what he's been going through. He's remained in that house for 18 years (as of the posting of the MrBallen story).

There was nothing wrong with it, so I went up and knocked at the home. A nice lady answered. When I asked about the high boy, she looked unnerved. I said "I had to ask...it looks too good for trash. May we have it ?." She looked ill and slowly began " You don't want it, surely"... I was certain I did want it.
" Has somebody else spoken for it ?".( No).
Then, she leveled with me " Over ten years ago, we bought this house..."

"...We began moving in our things and saw this piece in the basement. Rick brought it upstairs. It was too pretty to toss. Right away it had a stuck drawer.
We worked on it and Rick got the big drawer open & saw a stub candle, matches, odd powder ( bone?), dried blood (?),and a pentagram on paper. He threw it all away. That night, we began being attacked. It was awful !. No matter where we moved it, at night, pictures were flung off the walls, heard footsteps, etc..." She was trembling." Rick put it outdoors !"
She said "The agent said it had always been here. Several have come and gone, and they leave the high boy behind". I told her she's not crazy, and said I can take the drawers, but will come to get the case tomorrow". She looked sorry for me. Just then, a truck full of gangsta kids blocked out car. They wanted the highboy, but I put all the drawers and the mirror in our car and got in. They finally let us go.
I told Mom the story as we drove and we were very creeped out.
It rained hard that night but when we got to the highboy, it was dry as a bone while the lawn was soaked.
We prayed and sang high praises to God all the way home. We put it in storage. And we both saw it kinda shudder and there was a small scream. No problem since.

He told the first couple that the box caused weird shit to happen and they bought it anyway. The second group of people who bought it literally read in the listing something like, "this box is haunted, buy at your own risk," and the people bought it. He gave both buyers fair warning so it's really not his fault that they had bad shit happen to them

Im a security guard and I listen to these at night while I'm driving the patrol car. I listened to this one around 3 in the morning and I started to get legitimately creeped out. You know the people who've actually experienced these things probably didnt give this much detail themselves so he is most likely making up 1/4 or 1/2 of it up. Mr ballen if you're reading this please let us know how much of it is true
100% agree. Amazing story teller, without "embellishing" or exaggerating beyond what seems totally reasonable (like with details about them backing up and scratching their head in confusion... Little things that probably weren't relayed to him directly but still make perfect sense situationally)

Yeah I saw some videos about it explaining it was a made-up and didn't really happen. Not sure what actually happened, I can't prove these paranormal things are not real, so ill be open minded and believe that sometimes these things do happen, but sometimes people like to make it up too. But yeah while I do believe in the paranormal(cause I experienced it before), this might have been another fictional story like many have been around sadly inducing people into believing in hoaxes.

Actually, Zakk Baggens of Ghost Adventures purchased this box from Jason. One of the worst people that could take on responsibility for it. I believe it’s now in his museum of haunted objects in Vegas. They did a Halloween special many years ago where they opened this box while being filmed while doing a ritual. I wish it had stayed in a safe, undisclosed place.
Kevin Mannis wrote and came up with the entire story and sold it to Hollywood in 2004... there is no real dybbuk box.

sleep paralysis is terrifying even without hallucinations so i can’t even imagine how horrible it is to not only see something but get physically hurt
It is like, your arm paralyzed feeling. But your whole body and you hear random noises. and the same thing when it fades like arm paralyzed fade. I just had my eyes closed fuuck that.
I had a few episodes but I was never able to even open my eyes. So I didn't see anything, literally. Didn't hear anything either, but I was able to break out of it. Unfortunately as soon as I started to fall back asleep I was paralyzed again. Finally I was able to wake up from it but I couldn't sleep after that. That was years ago. Seemed to be a phase for me, god willing. I always felt like I was half asleep while trying to wake up the rest of my mind and body.
Had it often, not pleasant but if you know what happens you just stop carrying.
The first time I experienced sleep paralysis, it was traumatic I don't want to go back to sleep. But after researching about it, it's bearable. The scary thing is whenever I experience it, there is always this black human figure and it's hard to breathe. And personally I experience that when I'm exhausted before sleeping.
I’ve had it on and off for years. It’s awful. I can never open my eyes, sometimes I feel like I can just lift my head off the pillow before it smashed back down again and if anyone saw I’d probably look like I was having a fit. Every time I would hear a really strange and loud humming noise and once I heard a massive flock of birds flying over the house and managed to move when the ‘birds’ were right above my house and it stopped instantly.
I only get it when I’m having my spouts of insomnia and it’s only when I’m trying to go to sleep, never when I’m waking up (getting it while waking up is much more common)

What are you talking about? Ending? There cannot ever be an end to Mr. Ballens channel. He will be telling stories to us until at least the next great cataclysm which wont happen until the 2040's. There is much evidence to support a cyclical event that has resulted in the extinction of previous civilizations on earth and was responsible for the great flood written about in the bible. They believe the sun goes micro nova every 3600yrs, blasting its outer shell out into the solar system and causing pole reversals on earth.
