Domestic and sexual abuse by women to men is a FACT! Many men won’t report it because it makes them feel like a punk so they do nothing but go back to the abuse and the wife ends up murdering them. It’s happening more and more now. I had a male family member come to my door out of the blue because of the abuse she continue to do. He wasn’t going to strike back. He move into my home immediately. That shit is real and I am a woman.

I met JD and spent an afternoon with him in Oklahoma City like 26-27 years ago. I worked for a wedding chapel and JD was part of make a wish foundation. A couple that was getting married had a son with leukemia who requested JD to be his new daddy’s best man. We all sign disclaimers and stayed quiet with the media. He came in on Saturday and spent the whole afternoon with the couple. He even went out of his way to speak to each of us that worked the wedding. He acted as though my little life mattered. He was kind, very gentle and respectful. When he found out the couple wasn’t going on a honeymoon because of medical expenses. jD would not let it go. He flew this couple any where they asked to go and paid every dime of the honeymoon. He paid the medical bills and took the boy in his limo to Toys R Us and let the boy buy whatever he wanted. I feel in love that day with this fantastic human being. I do not believe the lies she is telling

No one really cared that she would punch me slap me kick me scream in my face throw things at me and degrade me because she is a woman. And of course I never reported her as a man and a protector one it would be embarrassing to ask for help because a woman is hitting you into having the police take my daughters mother to jail would of been very difficult for my daughters to see you. I did call the police on her three times because she wouldn’t stop hitting me but I never told them she was hitting me I just told them that she was out of control. I know I didn’t handle it right I just try to not let my three daughters see how out of control their mother was so I am also guilty of making excuses for her it’s amazing how much abuse a person will take oddly enough you just kinda get used to it as a man And try to live your life the best you can until you can be free of it.

I personally wouldn’t say I was a victim of DV but my first girlfriend in high school caused a lot of trust issues. She used to hit me, scream at me, cheat on me, and blame me for it. All while I was only 14. It was a big wake up call to the world and I have not really trusted anyone since. I say I wasn’t really a victim because when she hit me I was playing Water Polo and had no issue taking a few hits and would just tell her to stop or wrap her in a hug and tell her to stop as I did.

Hoping that doesn't happen but I wouldn't at all be surprised by it. A man who grins and winks at the crowd when found guilty in Britain, a man who grins in court when he hears Amber's testimony about being sexually assaulted with a bottle. I worked for a company here in Canada that specialized in providing security services for special celeb & political events back in the late 80’s & 90’s. Although I met several celebs while working during press junkets, (premiere events, etc), I unfortunately never had the privilege of meeting Johnny during any of the ones he attended at the time - but I must say that (especially when compared to the way many of the celebrities treated the “hired help”), I was able to personally observe a massive difference when it came to Mr. Depp in comparison to many other well-known celebs re: how he acted & spoke to the people around him.
He was always incredibly kind, polite and patient to everyone around him, and refused to allow any strong-arming or bullying towards anyone, staff or fan, by his private security or PA’s (which happens much more often at these sorts of things than most folks probably realize). It never comes as a surprises me to hear from people that he’s continued to be this way but I am always so glad to hear or read the same from someone who actually knows him.
Mr. Depp has always seemed (to me) to be a kind & decent man, and tbh I’ve felt at a gut level right from the start that AH’s claims were complete nonsense. It also didn’t surprise me to find out she was the abuser, not the victim - I haven’t worked in security or frankly in any capacity in this area of work for quite some years now, but still have friends who do. Although most are very careful to stick to the industry standard re: privacy/confidentiality, word can (and generally does) eventually filter out within the community when it comes to those with a history of being problematic at events - particularly when it means they’ll likely require special handling. AH apparently has earned herself quite the reputation of being difficult & at times even downright abusive towards both those working directly for her or behind the scenes at events she’s attended in the past (ie: other celeb PA’s, booking staff, security, catering, etc).

Officer Melissa Saines is a star! She is the most damning witness against Amber Heard in this trial. Her professional, straightforward candor about what she observed that night, added to the fact that she is a neutral witness when she says she did not deem Ms Heard to be a victim and her face was red from crying supported Johnny's version of No violence against Heard, no destruction to the premises that night. I was talking to my mother about the trial and her response was "Wow, what kind of a man get's hit by his wife?". And after she saw how visibly upset I was, I explained the entire situation and how this has been happening since the dawn of time, but men are shamed and ashamed of ever talking about it. After our talk she realized how backwards her line of thinking was and apologized.

If the lawsuit is about defamation then demonstrating that he wasn't the abuser is obviously significant, but it's not crazy to bring the issue back to what she actually said. As someone's whose been in an abusive relationship with a woman, one who even once threatened to call the police on me when I was trying to get my stuff from her place, I am rooting for Johnny here. People who have been through this can see clear as day the tell-tale signs of an abusive manipulator, down to the TEXTBOOK begging to come talk so "I can apologize". Protip: NEVER EVER accept, because the word 'sorry' will never cross their lips, and they will go right back to their old shit, or worse, hold you emotionally hostage w/ some insane bullshit, or just straight up assault you.
I could have easily gone to jail that night, as a distressed half black man sitting locked outside of a white woman's door (my keys were locked inside too). The precedent for female abusers to misuse law enforcement and court of public opinion to abuse their partners is very apparent now, and hopefully this trial affects change in that.

I was never in an abusive relationship, but I did live with a narcissist aunt for a while who dragged me to court on three false charges solely because she couldn't control me like she did my cousin (her son). Much like Amber Heard, my aunt was confident that she'd prevail in court. And much like Heard, my aunt didn't really prepare and suddenly lost her confidence in court. The judge saw through it all and threw out her case. She was simply being vindictive because I wouldn't let her control me in exchange for letting me stay in her home for a few months. to my understanding cases involving abusive women are rarer, because men are more prone to be abusive. so the abusing women use that very fact to silence their victim. also there is the matter pride and shame, it is a lot harder for a man to become aware and accept that he is a victim, and later act on it. of course society usually in these situation accept the women more easily, because statistically they usually are the victim.

1- "amber maneuver" is a great and apt name for this type of behavior. it should be a thing.
2- I agree with you. my point is that in the case of abuse people tend to believe the women, because we see more of those cases. the only way to change or temper that viewpoint is for male victims to come forward more often, which is a lot harder for them, because in our culture men are raised to "suck it up" or "walk it off'. so there is an element of shame.
i think for every single case of "amber maneuver" we see 20 opposite cases. and we have no idea what the correct ration is.

      @Ruiluth 2 ปีที่แล้ว +52

@@vahidoph Respectfully, the opinion you're stating is the very reason people like Johnny don't get justice. Men are not more prone to be abusive, but our culture teaches women to speak out and men to hide it. Abusive women are just as common as abusive men, but men are less likely to speak up about it. The common perception is what you stated, but it's not the truth and it's in fact very harmful and toxic. I would recommend that you go through the comments sections of any JD/AH trial video and see all the men in the comments coming out of the woodwork to talk about how they were abused but didn't think they could talk about it.

you need to watch again other parts (in case you watched everything you probably missed or didn't pay attention to some details of this case). 1. Johnny wanted the divorce, she didn't want it 2. She wanted $14 million, she got $7 million 3. she wanted him back; he didn't want her back not even for all the money on the planet. 4. She never brought him to court for domestice violence. Have you ever thought why she didn't? If I say you are a thief or a murderer or paedophile, and it is not true, you must sue me. It is defamation, you must defend yourself and your honor. But if you don't move a finger against me and don't defend your name and honor, what are you afraid of? have you noticed that HRC was accused of many homicides and other crimes but SHE NEVER SUED A JOURNALIST OR TV CHANNEL? I will clear that up to you. If you are guilty, you don't want to sue me because if you do there will be AN INVESTIGATION AND ALL EVIDENCE WILL BE ON THE TABLE AGAINST YOU. The same applies for HRC and her phony husband. They are guilty as clouds are clouds. They are screwed if an investigation is opened on the deaths of all people they killed and 'suicided'. AH got her money but didn't get JD back. Then she decided revenge time was hers and she started all the defamation scheme and at the same time cashing money on that. Don't be naive to believe she was not paid for her speeches. She was paid very well and she was lying while "advocating for victims of DV". She is really pathetic... but Johnny had kept his cool and he had warned her if he takes her to Court things would be bad for her. And so he did sued her because he has all evidence and she has only lies and intrigue and gossip from the Press. Since when Journalists and stupid, silly articles from The Guardian or any other cheap publication is evidence of a crime?! how many times the press has not spread lies? So, AH following the same footsteps of jourNAZISM published stupid lies and that's how her silly nose got into trouble. She made a huge mistake. Johnny knew if he brings his case to the Court she would be in bad sheets but he did so because he must defend his name, his honor and as he said, he must do that for his family and his children. This story has caused harm to innocent children and if you have children you don't want your mistake to harm your kids either. He had to do it. There waas no choice left because if he suddenly dies and the lies continue she could write a whole book spreading such lies and he wouldn't be here to defend himself. That's not fair. If I were a Publisher I would never accept such books without EVIDENCE. What she did was stupid and naive, she believed because she is a woman, a celebrity, beautiful and has many fans and the communist press behind her, she coould say and do whatever is profitable for her. This must stop. We can't accept this bahavior anymore. How many more lives must be destroyed because of gossip and defamation? If she was suffering and had trauma, why she didn't want to divorce him? I am also victim of DV, in the hands of my fathe. When I reached 21 years old I was in college, I left his house and I found a job and I went far far away from everybody, family and from him. I never talked to him again for more than 20 years and he died in 2017. I suffered more than Johnny, I kept my cool because as a child I could not defend myself -- I avoided trouble and confrontation and many times I ran to the bathroom too, just like JD did, so I could avoid the punching, kicking, hitting and more.... I know what feels like. Abuse victims don't behave as if they have won the Oscar, they are not pride. They are ashamed, it hurts, it kills you inside, it diminishes you. You feel impotent and you don't tell anybody about your pain because you are ashamed of your scars, and suicide is a constant thought. This woman AH was never a victim, she was the abuser. I know the pain JD suffers, his pain is mine too. I have been in his skin and I know how it hurts, it does not go away. It stays with you forever.

Go ahead Johnny, go ahead and tell everyone I, Johnny Depp, A man am a victim of domestic violence. Tell a judge and jury and see how many people believe you and how many people side with you.

After watching her testify, it is clear now why her lawyers were so desperate to stop the trial.

When your lawyer does not believe you it’s hard to defend you. These lawyers on AH side look very intimidated in the meanwhile JD lawyers look calm cool and collected just another day. It’s hard to make assholes look good.

To be fair ah's lawyers dont have much genuine evidence to work with in the 1st place all lies and forgeries which makes everything 10x harder in the case of the defense
