- Amber Heard's legal team has rested their case in her defamation trial against Johnny Depp in a Fairfax, Virginia, courtroom. Depp's attorney in response filed a motion to dismiss Heard's counterclaim for defamation based on comments from Depp's attorney Adam Waldman that called her abuse allegations a hoax.
The judge later rejected the motion, ruling that this issue for the jury to decide.

I used to dislike her Lawyer but if I take a step back and actually look at it - she was roped into this with lies that, at the time, had not been exposed fully yet. Amber is the one feeding "Amica" aka Arnica. Amber is the one pushing the "bruise kit" and she has made that poor woman look like a fool time and time again. They have nothing. She is defending a nutcase and the career she worked on (probably for most of her life) will likely never recover from this and it really isn't her fault.

The counter claim was made specifically to counter Johnny's claims. There was no justification for it. However counterclaim can reduce damages and that's the sole reason it was filed.

You can see that Johnny Depp's lawyers have really worked hard to do the best they can to help Johnny win this case. You can also see Johnny's lawyers are genuinely fond of him and really care for him. There seems to be a lovely bond between Johnny and his lawyers. It's obvious to see. After he’d given paid off their debts and gave her all the money she wanted and even paid double so it would be tax-free to her, too. Absolutely true. If you don't bring an objection in court the court will consider the issue uncontested and you loose your right to fight against it later. You'll often see layer objecting or making motions simply to reserve the right to resolve them later. Refusing to make a motion will be seen by the court as an admission that the issue is agreed upon by both parties. Lawyers can be and have been sued by their clients for refusing to make objections on issues that were in dispute causing them to loose their cases.

This was orchestrated by her legal team in an attempt to persuade the jury to fill her legal holes, with emotional statements. AH didn't establish majority of her statements and faulty lawsuit. She has exhausted the legal system, while abusing Social Media/Media Connections to create the image JD was guilty, using media to tarnish him instead of allowing the court to do so. She's manipulated multiple avenues to target JD, which is another form of abuse.
