    I’ve been making natural and wrapped rope bowls , baskets and totes for 12 years and have yet to try the over and under technique. Your videos are pleasant to watch with nice music and not too much chatter and you’re inspiring me to give this a try!

      Thank you for your kind words! I'm glad you enjoy my videos. I hope you love the over and under technique! It really gives the baskets a little something different. Thank you for watching!

    I like the way you added your ribbon on top before adding the fabric .. smart.

    What is the bottom of the bowl look like? I am thinking of fusing another piece of pretty fabric on before while flat to hide the ribbon. What do you think? I love this video with the fabric and ribbon technique, thank you for sharing.

      The bottom is just rope, I didn’t add anything. I think it would look great to add a piece of fabric. This was a fun basket to make. Thank you for your very nice comment and thank you for watching!

    Hi beautiful! Just a few specific questions - how big is the center fabric, how long are the ribbon strips, and how did you finish off the ribbons before adding the final top rows?
    Thanks!!!!

    • @sweetcountrylivinginmichigan
      @sweetcountrylivinginmichigan  หลายเดือนก่อน

      The center fabric is 4 1/2 inches. The ribbon was cut at 18”. I just kept sewing until I ran out of ribbon. Thanks for watching!

    • @sweetcountrylivinginmichigan

      I have the length on 3 and the width as big as I can go which on my machine is 6. Thanks for watching.

    Thank you for sharing this with us however I am a little confused with the ribbon you have 8strands but sometimes you go under and then over is there some form of sequence as the video is a little quick

      I’m trying to slow it down but every time I make a video I am sure people are bored. I think there is a way … maybe 3 dots in the upper corner… that slow it down. Anyway I probably didn’t do it perfectly correct each time but my goal was to go over and under each time. Hope that helps. Thank you for your comment and thank you for watching!

      Yes, you can do that. I didn't do that in my video but that would work I would think. In the video I am sewing it down. I love your questions, and I appreciate you watching!
