I love reading my Bibles as well taking notes I have a world bible school study edition journaling bible and a king James bible and a Catholic life edition bible can I write in them with a pencil
I just got one a few days ago from McKay’s (mine doesn’t have the blank notes pages, prnt 63). I love this edition! Is that bonded leather or did you mention genuine? Did you read it off the original box? P.S. the best edition Scofields are done, in my opinion, by the KJV Store. They have a beautiful large print (11 point) lambskin edition and a super high premium wide-margin version as well.
Which year is this edition? I love the scofield and i’m looking for the darkest font version, and I like the smaller size. All 3 Scofield’s that I have are rather large.
I believe I have an original copy of that bible printed in 1945... I am not sure... I got it used... mine is very similar to the one you are showing... except...mine has the words of Christ in red... And the spine is more squared in appearance...not rounded...also.. it has gold interlacing on the inside cover all the way around....and states "genuine leather" on the back cover... and the gilding is gold.. not that bronze appearance.....
It's already sold unfortunately. If you're looking for the smaller sized one, you'll want a picture of the title page. At the bottom left corner, you'll want to look for one that is 16mo like this one; that's the smaller size. The 8vo is the one usually for sale, and it's the larger one.

I've had a few Scofields over the years. This one has a leather cover, and you're right, the KJV Store editions are a spectacular rendition.

I think it was a 1966. It's the Series No. 1 facsimile. I couldn't tell you the difference between the 1 and 2 though...
