I am so grateful to you for this wonderful message and teaching on the utmost validity of the King James Bible. I fell in love with the old English language when I was a girl of 12 and read Romeo and Juliet and then went to see the movie with an adult. I was amazed at how comfortable I was with the language of Shakespeare's time and it sounded so natural to me. Perhaps because of my British background. However when I try to share with people the importance of owning and reading from only the King James Bible I get nothing but a bunch of excuses as to why they cannot or will not. I wish they would give it a chance, because as you said, it's poetic nuance and perfect oration of the English language makes it far easier to understand and remember. I am 62 and I can still recall every line from Romeo and Juliet... and I remember Bible verses very easily because of the simple beauty of the spoken word that comes from the very heart and mouth of God. God bless you, shared with many. Agape - Maranatha!
Where there is a King there is power. I would have rebelled against that if I was reprobate. But I said Amen! People who are constantly complaining and rebellious against authority don't realize nothing good is found in the resulting chaos. There is no substitute for the will of God. This sermon is making me weep.
Thank you, pastor. King James Version kicks ass ! ☝️👍 👏👏👏 😁 I visited a 'christian bookshop' a few months back and found that they sold 98% NIV ... I asked them why that was so. Answer : it's what the churches use for the sake of 'uniformity' ...🤪 😳 🤬 I managed to get a lonely KJV sitting on their shelves whilst the attendant actually said, "This one ? This is the old language one ..." ! You can't make that up. smh. NO to NIV. NO to NKJV.
Only those who believe the holy scriptures were given by the Lord in the Greek language put their trust in the chronicles of men and in doing so curse themselves. Jeremiah 17:5 Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord. Mark 7:6-9 He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. [7] Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. [8] For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. [9] And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition. The Lord declared all the counsel of the thoughts of his heart in the first and only pure language which the whole earth spake before Babel. The whole book is ancient prophecy and when the Lord Jesus spake to Saul this holy scripture was fulfilled and we learn the Lord spake in the Hebrew tongue and certainly not Greek! Acts 26:14-16 And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. [15] And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest. [16] But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; Acts 22:1-3 Men, brethren, and fathers, hear ye my defence which I make now unto you. [2] (And when they heard that he spake in the Hebrew tongue to them, they kept the more silence: and he saith,) [3] I am verily a man which am a Jew, born in Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, yet brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, and taught according to the perfect manner of the law of the fathers, and was zealous toward God, as ye all are this day. Romans 2:28-29 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: [29] But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. Romans 3:1-4 What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision? [2] Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God. [3] For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? [4] God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

Koine Greek was the modern language used in the first century.
