Why no other posts in 10 months? Everything okay?

I own two Allan R1 NAS95s - one blue and one red. Absolutely beautiful Bibles. I love the classic, traditional, vintage feel of the layout and font that they use from Lockman. I'm thinking about gifting one to a close Navy friend that I have been witnessing to and pray for, for over 12 years. He just professed Christ for the first time the other day. I cried with joy when he called me. The red one might be his baptism gift from me. I have never been so excited to give away an Allan before. One of your best friends coming to Christ will do that!!

Notes in a Bible are man interpretation of something. It is not scripture! Its someone opinion or personal commentary! Scripture is to be interpreted with scripture!

Did you get it on sale or something? It says $152 CAD on Amazon (and that's on sale from $273.99 CAD or $190 USD). Also, these are pigskin. I'd avoid them, it's a blatant attempt from Crossway to mock Christians while extorting us.

I had similar gilt issues with my LSB Giant Print Reference Edition, Edge-Lined Goatskin. They offered to replace it.

Where can I get the living bible? and its price

How do you know the date on the World bibles? I've scoured through the one I found recently and can't locate any internal markings noting print date. This one is a standard KJV pronouncing bible with faux-leather and partial yapp. The other thing I noticed when comparing to the handful of Worlds I've watched you review is that this one also has black and white pictures, as opposed to color or b&w art plates. Thanks!

I actually like worn out bibles with writing/notes and highlighting, but torn or missing pages i try to avoid. Im hoping to get my handy size TCR to look like this in a few years God willing, great review God bless ✝️

I've listened to hours and hours of Ruckman and I haven't once heard anything mildly offensive. We live in an ultra-feminised World where people are offended by their own shadow. Remember the Bible says that it is a SHAME for women to even speak in the Church. Also 'liberals' aren't Christian. If you're a liberal, you hold 'liberal' values, they're distinctly anti-Christ values. Same with 'progressivism'.

Your pages were not stuck together. Did you go through and separate them or did it come that way?

The first Bible I ever bought was The Moffatt Bible .... many many years ago.

This is why I buy faux leather Bibles! I don't want to plunk down bank and be disappointed when it gets wear and tear, let alone if shipping new to me with imperfections.

I bought the tan edition with the 1880 illustrations by Frederick Barnard (over 100 illustrations), and it's huge! It's the perfect size for laying in your lap to read out loud. I'm super happy that it includes both books. Some copies I've seen over the years don't include Christiana's story.

Do you believe even today with the 28gsm it is still worth it for that price I highlight with Mr.pen gel highlighters but with such a pricey Bible and low gsm it makes me question because of how much it might show to the reverse page or if I used a micron pigmy pen to underline in it like I do in all my other bibles by now you’ve had this Bible couple years have you highlighted and underlined? If so how has it held up all these years for the price tag $210?

Your entire exposition of this Bible is fine, but it is not the authentic Holy Bible, because all the textual concordances have been removed, which should be placed within two vertical lines, in the center of the pages, through which one can scrutinize. Without that, it is like any history book, written by writers. Thank you.

The NAB is the translation used for Mass , I myself have many translations and study them all. This is a good Bible especially the one with the Doctrinal inserts and the Rosary embossed on the back cover.all that matters is that someone has picked up a Bible and is reading it.

I love this TruTone version of the ESV Heritage! 😀It's such an amazing deal since you get the exact same layout as the ESV Heirloom Heritage. I have the ESV Heirloom Heritage but I paid $200 for it, whereas the TruTone is $35 or less. I'm sure the Heirloom Heritage will last much longer than the TruTone Heritage, but still for the price I sometimes wish I hadn't dropped so much on a Bible and instead went with the TruTone Heritage instead, because I could have purchased multiple TruTone Heritages for the same price. Anyway I agree it's an awesome Bible. It's definitely possible to use it as a reading Bible, but I think it's bigger and chunkier than I'd personally like for reading. Instead I prefer the ESV Reader's Bible for reading. However, for an all purpose Bible that can do a lot of different things, I think the Heritage is great.

Sometimes stubbornness and faith can look and sound the same. Dr. Ruckman's belief that a KJV is the only authorized version...was a belief rooted in a spirit of stubbornness.

This Bible was made in hot pink, hip chick orange, yellow, and cyan blue -all the colors of the ribbon markers. I snagged all four on eBay recently for around $60 each. But the ORANGE is the cream of the crop! I agree it is goatskin. It is just beautiful and so eye catching! 2007 Rock of Ages Press is a mystery to me (defunct). These are no longer made but periodically become available on eBay from a liquidator of Graphic Image (who sells these in black & white).

The Pitt Minion is my favorite bible. I love the size, the paper, the goatskin covers, and especially the typeface. I have the ESV, NIV, NKJV in goatskin and the KJV in calfskin.
